Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efficiency of general allocation funds (DAU) and local own-source revenues (PAD) on the financial performance of city governments in Aceh Province. The data used in this study is panel data, which includes input variables of general allocation funds, regional original income and output variables of financial performance in 2015-2018. The method used in this research is Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) using DEAP software version 2.1. The analysis shows that in 2015 there were 4 cities that experienced efficient, namely Banda Aceh City, Sabang City, Langsa City and Subulussalam City, in 2016 there were 4 cities that showed efficient, namely Banda Aceh City, Sabang City, Langsa City and Kota Subulussalam, In 2017, the number of cities that showed efficient was 4 cities, namely Banda Aceh City, Langsa City, Lhokseumawe City and Subulusalam City, while in 2018, there were 5 cities that showed efficient, namely Banda Aceh City, Sabang City, Langsa City, Lhokseumawe City and Subulussalam City. To improve its financial performance, the city governments in Aceh Province, especially those whose financial performance has not reached the level of efficiency should make a draft budget in accordance with regionalKeywords: public Financial Performance, Local Revenue, General Allocation Funds, Data Envelopment Analysis

Abstract

This study examined the effect of inflation, exchange rates, and interest rates on domestic investment in the province of North Sumatra for the 2010-2020 period. This study used the Multiple Linear Regression method. The results partially indicated that inflation negatively and insignificantly influenced domestic investment, the exchange rate positively but insignificantly influenced domestic investment, and the interest rate negatively and insignificantly influenced domestic investment in Indonesia. North Sumatra Province. Simultaneously, inflation, exchange rate, and interest rate positively and significantly influenced domestic investment in North Sumatra.

Abstract

The study examined the effect of local taxes, general allocation funds, and special allocation funds on economic growth in Aceh Province during 2016-2020. This study used secondary data for 5 years. This study used the panel data regression method with 115 observations from 23 selected samples. The Fixed Effect results partially indicated that Local Taxes did not significantly influence Economic Growth, General Allocation Funds did not significantly influence Economic Growth, and Special Allocation Funds positively and significantly influenced Economic Growth. Simultaneously, Regional Taxes, General Allocation Funds, and Special Allocation Funds influenced Economic Growth in 23 Regencies/Cities of Aceh Province during 2016-2020.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Coffee Imports and Oil and Gas Natural Rubber Imports on Indonesia's Economic Growth. By using the type of data in this research, quantitative approach to time series data from 1990 to 2020 sourced from the statistical reports of the Indonesian Directorate General of Plantations, BI Statistics, and BPS Indonesia. The analytical tool used is Multiple Linear Regression. The results partially show that coffee imports have a positive effect on economic growth as well as imports of natural rubber have a positive and significant impact on Indonesia's economic growth. Simultaneous test results stated that imports of coffee and natural rubber had a positive and significant effect on Indonesia's GDP. The correlation value of 0.8757 means that the relationship between coffee imports and natural rubber imports on economic growth as measured by GDP has a very strong relationship because the value is almost close to positive one

Abstract

The influence of expenditure on health, education, infrastructure, and economic growth on the Human Development Index in Aceh province was investigated in this study. The panel data regression approach was utilized to investigate the connection between the independent and dependent variables. The panel data model was chosen using the Chow, Hausmant, and LM-Tests. The Random Effect Model was found most effective. The findings indicated that government expenditure on health, education, and infrastructure positively and significantly affected the Aceh Province Human Development Index, however economic development had no effect on the Aceh Province Human Development Index. Simultaneously, government expenditure on health, education, infrastructure, and economic growth affected the Aceh Province Human Development Index favorably and considerably. The magnitude of the effect was 0.7528, or 75.28 percent, with the remaining 24.22 percent influenced by factors outside the model.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how much influence economic growth, human development index (IPM) and labor force participation rate (TPAK) have on poverty in Aceh province. The data used in this study were obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics for the province of Aceh for the 2006-2020 period. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression using the Eviews 10 program. The results of this study indicate that partially the economic growth variable has a negative and significant effect on poverty in Aceh Province, while the human development index variable (IPM) has a positive effect but not significantly to poverty in Aceh Province, and the variable labor force participation rate (TPAK) has a negative and significant effect on poverty in Aceh Province. As for simultaneously the variables of economic growth, human development index (IPM) and labor force participation rate (TPAK) have a positive and significant effect on poverty in Aceh Province.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of foreign debt, foreign investment and Government spending on Economic Growth in 5 Asean Countries. The data used in this study is cross-sectiaon data from 2011-2020 obtained from the World Bank. The data is then analyzed using the Panel data regression model. The results of this study show that foreign debt has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in 5 asean countries. Foreign investment has no positive and significant effect. And Government spending has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in 5 Asean countries. The government is advised to carefully manage foreign debt to create positive Economic Growth, Create a conducive Investment climate and increase spending to boost Economic Growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of government spending, domestic investment and foreign debt on gross domestic product in Indonesia. The independent variables in this study are Government Expenditure, Domestic Investment and Foreign Debt while the dependent variable is Gross Domestic Product. The data used in this research is secondary data for the period 1998-2021. The analytical model used in this study is the multiple linear regression model with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. Based on the results of the study, it shows that government spending and foreign debt have a significant and significant effect on gross domestic product in Indonesia while domestic investment has no effect and is not significant on gross domestic product in Indonesia while simultaneously government spending, domestic investment and foreign debt jointly affect the gross domestic product in Indonesia. The test results for the coefficient of determination show that there is a relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable in this study of 98.57%, which means that the other 01.42% is influenced by other variables outside of this study.
