Abstract

In the digital era that we are experiencing, there are many developments that occur every year, including in the field of digital technology. With the rapid development of information technology, new discoveries have been made that have an impact on today's society. The convenience provided by the internet has succeeded in changing people's lifestyles today. In fact, nowadays the use of the internet is no longer limited to a communication medium but has become a promotional medium, information medium, entertainment medium and much more. One of the entertainment media applications that people are currently interested in is the TikTok application. An information system is said to be successful if the information is processed to produce good information, but user satisfaction and acceptance of the system or application is also one measure of the success of the information system. This research aims to determine the level of satisfaction of users of the Tiktok application. This research uses quantitative methods and content variables, accuracy, ease of use and timeliness. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling method. Process analysis uses the usability method with five variables, namely learning ability, efficiency, memory, errors and satisfaction.

Abstract

The development of information technology currently has a very important role and can be utilized in facilitating all human activities from various aspects, including activities that take place in the health sector such as hospitals which already use many information systems specifically designed to handle various supplies or inventory. At the Rantau Prapat Regional Hospital, data collection on medical equipment supplies still uses manual methods, namely visiting and recording the equipment that needs to be equipped to each polyclinic one by one, which takes quite a long time and the medical equipment inventory team has difficulty prioritizing which tools must be equipped first for each polyclinic, so that continue to maintain the number of treatment numbers in each clinic, especially in dental and oral clinics. Therefore, we need a system for recommending dental medical equipment based on the dental diseases frequently suffered by patients and the number of treatments per year. In building a web-based dental medical tool recommendation system, researchers used the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm method to classify new objects based on attributes and training samples. The working principle of KNN is to find the shortest distance between the data used and its K closest neighbors in the training data and produce more accurate and effective data.

Abstract

One of the systems that can be simulated is a queue. The queuing system consists of a collection of customer servers, a queue that regulates service to customers. The utilization of queuing simulations is to optimize services by designing service resources so that services can be effective and efficient. In the queuing system there are several problems that often occur, for example queuing queues, the number of queues will cause problems such as bored customers, and discomfort will make customers dissatisfied with the service. The Application of the Exponensial Method in the Dentist Patient Service Queuing System There are 28 general populations in this study, namely all consumers at the Kesrem Binjai Hospital, while the target population is the population that is actually used as a data source for patients who queue at the Kesrem Binjai Hospital to get the best service. is the target population in this study.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, Maxim is present in online transportation. This research aims to analyze driver satisfaction with the Maxim application using the PIECES method. The problem faced by drivers is complaints about the application features available in the Maxim application. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze driver satisfaction with the Maxim application, to find out the factors that influence user satisfaction. The PIECES method is used to measure driver satisfaction with the Maxim application using 6 variables, namely performance, information, economy, control & security, efficiency, service. The results of the Validity Test using SPSS are declared valid from the r table value, namely 0.150. The results of the Reliability Test value for all data are greater than the r table value, namely 0.150. Based on the results of Likert scale calculations for all variables, the average is 84.7%.

Abstract

In export and import activities, a partner is needed for the shipping process. There are three types of shipping routes available for export and import: land, sea, and air. A company that offers shipping services via sea routes is known as an EMKL. This study designs a Geographic Information System (GIS) to facilitate the search for locations of Marine Cargo Expedition Services (EMKL) in East Jakarta using the Haversine Formula. The main problem faced is the difficulty in finding nearby and relevant expedition service providers in a large and densely populated area like East Jakarta. The proposed solution involves developing a system that integrates location data with the Haversine Formula to accurately calculate the distance between the user's location and the service providers. By using this method, the system can provide precise location information and help users select the nearest expedition service. The goal of this research is to enhance efficiency and accuracy in locating expedition services. The expected outcome is the creation of a user-friendly and effective system that simplifies the process of selecting expedition services by considering distance and service availability in real-time.

Abstract

This study aims to design and build an Internet of Things (IoT) based monitoring and control system in a swiftlet building. Swiftlet nest farming is a rapidly growing industry in Indonesia, but still faces challenges in terms of monitoring and optimal environmental management for swiftlet productivity. The system developed integrates sensors to measure critical environmental parameters such as temperature. The research methodology includes hardware design using a microcontroller, sensors, and actuators connected to an IoT network. Software is developed to process sensor data, send it to blynk, and present information through a web interface that can be accessed remotely. This system is also equipped with an automatic control feature to keep environmental parameters within the optimal range. The results of the study show that the system is capable of real-time monitoring and providing notifications when an anomaly occurs. The automatic control feature successfully maintains temperature stability in the swiftlet building, where when the temperature read by the sensor is less than or equal to 25oC the lights will turn on and if the temperature is more than 29oC the lights will turn off. In conclusion, the implementation of this IoT-based monitoring and control system provides an effective solution to increase efficiency and productivity in swiftlet nest farming. This research opens up opportunities for further development in the application of IoT technology in the business sector, especially in swallow farming.
