Abstract

Perbedaan sistem agroforestri dengan monokultur adalah adanya masukan bahan organik oleh pohon yang berasal dari bagian tajuk di atas tanah maupun bagian akar di bawah tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dinamika hara pada lahan agroforestri sengon-kapulaga dengan pemberian empat perlakuan yang berbeda.Bahan organik yang aplikasikan terdiri dari 1) pangkasan kapulaga, 2) pangkasan daun dan ranting pohon sengon, 3) campuran pangkasan tanaman yang ada di lokasi (gamal,petaian, rumput, dsb) dan 4) kombinasi 1,2 dan 3 pada perbandingan berat yang sama dengan tiga ulangan. Pengukuran kadar C organik, N dan P dilakukan lima kali pada tiga kedalaman, 0-40 cm, 40-80 cm dan 80-120 cm. Analisis sidik ragam antara kadar hara dengan jenis perlakuan dan kedalaman serta uji korelasi antara kadar hara dengan waktu pengukuran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jenis perlakuan dan kedalaman tanah tidak berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap kadar C, N dan P tanah, sedangkan waktu pengukuran berkorelasi dengan kadar C, N dan P tanah. Pemberian pangkasan sengon mampu mempertahankan kadar N dan P tanah sedangkan pemberian campuran pangkasan tanaman mampu mempertahankan kadar C organik tanah. Kata kunci:  Dinamika, hara, perlakuan, kedalaman

Abstract

The forestry and plantation sectors till now, the mass supply of seeds still using polybags made from plastic. The purpose of the study was to examine the physical characteristics and test the organic pots based on waste from galam skin and water hyacinth as well as to find out the best basic ingredients for making organic pots. The research method used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The results of organic pot testing for water content ranged from 4.2133 – 6.033%, all treatments met the SNI standard 03-2105-2006 (<14%). The range of water absorption values is 97.9981 – 176.2218% and the SNI 03-2105-2006 standard does not require water absorption values. Density values ranged from 0.3584 – 0.8767 gr/cm3, A, C, D, E treatments were included in the SNI 03-2105-2006 standard. The best treatment of organic pot water content was in treatment A (100% galam peel waste), water absorption was found in treatment E (100% water hyacinth) and the best density was found in treatment E (100% water hyacinth. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pengaruh kegiatan pemanenan kayu terhadap potensi karbon tumbuhan bawah dan serasah di lahan gambut, studi kasus di areal HTI kayu serat PT. RAPP Sektor Pelalawan, Propinsi Riau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : Potensi karbon tumbuhan bawah dan serasah sangat dibutuhkan guna menghitung potensi total karbon di atas permukaan tanah gambut. Pada areal setelah pemanenan kayu potensi karbon tumbuhan bawah dan serasah lebih kecil daripada yang berada pada areal dibawah tegakan acacia crassicarpa umur tegakan 2,3,4 dan 5 tahun. Potensi massa karbon tumbuhan bawah dan serasah pada areal setelah dilakukan pemanenan kayu menjadi berkurang masing-masing 4,55% dan 4,02% dari potensi massa karbon tumbuhan bawah dan serasah secara keseluruhan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pemanenan kayu yang dilakukan pada areal lahan gambut dapat mengurangi potensi massa karbon pada lapisan atas gambut sebesar 8,57%. Kegiatan pemanenan kayu di lahan gambut harus menerapkan pemanenan kayu ramah lingkungan.Kata Kunci : Karbon, tumbuhan bawah, serasah, pemanenan kayu

Abstract

Global warming is a problem that must be faced by living things. To reduce global warming by providing Green Open Space (GOS). GOS in the city of Bandar Lampung has experienced a broad decline due to the rampant land conversion as happened at Bukit Sukamenanti, due to the existence of rock mining. The purpose of this study was to determine the attitudes of the community, the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes and willingness to pay the community to maintain open green space. The sampling method used was simple random sampling with a total of 93 respondents consisting of 35 miners and 58 non-miners. Data collection uses observation, interview and literature studies. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study is the attitude of the community refused to change land use as much as 66.5%. The level of knowledge has a very significant positive relationship to the attitude of the non mining community, but has a non-significant negative relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude of the mining community. The higher the level of knowledge the community is not the miner, the more positive his attitude will be. But for the mining community, even though they have a high level of knowledge, they do not have an influence on attitudes because of the economic needs that must be met from mining. Total value of willingness to pay the community to maintain green open space is IDR 89.185.648/month.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapatan Optimal dari produk kayu lamina yang diusahakan PT. Samtraco  saat ini, yaitu Laminating blok, Finger Joins Laminating, Finger Joins Laminating Board, Solid, dan Beams,  serta mengetahui output kombinasi dari model usaha kayu lamina sehingga sarana produksi habis terpakai. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Model I Nilai pendapatan optimal bersih dapat di ketahui setelah pendapatan kotor di kurangi dengan biaya dari masing-masing variabel kendala, dimana pendapatan optimal kotor sebesar U$1.217.250/bulan dengan kurs U$1 sama dengan Rp9.800  maka pendapatan  kotor Rp 11.929.050.000 setelah di kurangi dari biaya pengeluaran sebesar Rp10.676.499.750 didapatkan nilai pendapatan bersih Rp1.252.550.250/bulan. Model II nilai pendapatan optimal bersih sebesar U$ 1.240.000/bulan dengan kurs yang sama, pendapatan optimal  kotor sebesar Rp1.294.000/bulan dengan kurs yang sama, maka pendapatan bersih Rp1.394.932.000/bulan. Berdasarkan nilai pendapatan optimal dari tiap model, bahan baku mendominasi biaya produksi kayu lamina yaitu 57%  pada model 1, 59% pada model 2 , dan 61% pada model 3, selanjutnya ongkos kirim, listrik dan tenaga kerja dibawah 10 %.Kata Kunci: Optimalisasi, Kayu Lamina, Produksi, Pendapatan

Abstract

Mangrove forest is a forest area on the coast. the type of fragile system that is very sensitive to environmental changes. Exploitation of mangrove forest resources uncontrolled will reduce the quality and quantity of these ecosystems. The purpose of this activity is IbM 1) providing knowledge and skills to the group of fish farmers about enlargement mudcrab with silvofishery system; 2) utilize the mangrove forest resources optimally and sustainably; and 3) increase value added and employment opportunities for coastal communities. Method activities include: 1) dissemination and demonstration; 2) monitoring and evaluation include early stage, middle and end of the program. The analysis shows a change in attitude and knowledge of the group of fish farmers who are less aware to be pretty much know about the cultivation of mangrove crab with the media cage. Enlargement of mud crabs in cages through silvofishery system can restrict the opening of mangrove forests. Besides these efforts provide opportunities for people, not just catch crabs from nature, but also the business of enlarging crab that can improve the quality of the crab be worth selling at high prices.Ekosistem hutan mangrove merupakan kawasan hutan di wilayah pantai.  dengan tipe sistem fragile yang sangat peka terhadap perubahan lingkungan. Eksplotasi sumberdaya hutan mangrove yang tidak terkendali akan menurunkan kualitas dan kuantitas ekosistem tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan IbM ini adalah 1) memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada kelompok pembudidaya ikan tentang pembesaran kepiting bakau dengan sistem silvofishery; 2) memanfaatkan sumberdaya hutan mangrove secara optimal dan lestari; dan 3) meningkatkan nilai tambah dan peluang kerja bagi masyarakat pesisir. Metode kegiatan meliputi: 1) sosialisasi dan demonstrasi; 2) pemantauan dan evaluasi meliputi tahap awal, pertengahan dan akhir pelaksanaan program. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya perubahan sikap dan pengetahuan kelompok pembudidaya ikan dari yang kurang mengetahui menjadi cukup banyak mengetahui tentang budidaya kepiting bakau dengan media keramba.  Pembesaran kepiting bakau dalam keramba melalui sistem silvofishery dapat membatasi pembukaan hutan mangrove.  Selain itu usaha ini memberikan peluang usaha bagi masyarakat, tidak hanya menangkap  kepiting dari alam, tetapi juga usaha pembesaran kepiting yang mampu meningkatkan kualitas kepiting menjadi layak jual dengan harga tinggi.

Abstract

Bromo Tengger Semeru Arjuno Biosphere Reserve and Blambangan Biosphere Reserve in East Java was established as models for sustainable development area. Threats and opportunities in biosphere reserve management are including tenurials problems that are potentially able to disturb the conservation agenda in core zone of biosphere reserve. The aims of the research are to describe the biosphere reserve in East Java and to identify tenurials problem in biosphere reserve. It is become key for the successful of biosphere reserve programs. Result of the study shows that Bromo Tengger Semeru Arjuno Biosphere Reserve and Blambangan Biosphere Reserve are the important area for conservation and sustainable development in East Java. Tenurials conflict occurs and there are some aspect contributes to the conflict. The important aspect contribute to tenurials conflict includes economic needs, policy overlap, misperception about land status and ownership, misinformation and communication, relationship disharmony between party in community, and education quality of human resources surrounding biosphere reserve area.   Tenurials conflict mitigation is one of the key for successful biosphere reserve management. In such mitigation, fostering multi-sectorial approach and involving all of the party into integrative conflict mitigation strategy is important.Keywords: tenurial conflict; sustainable development; Biosphere reserve . Cagar Biosfer Bromo Tengger Semeru Arjuno (CB-BTSA) dan Cagar Biosfer Blambangan (CBB) di Jawa Timur diharapkan dapat menjadi model pengelolaan kawasan secara berkelanjutan. Kendala dan tantangan dalam pengelolaan cagar biosfer tersebut adalah permasalahan tenurial yang dapat mengannggu kegiatan konservasi di kawasan inti dari cagar biosfer. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan cagar biofer di Jawa Timur dan mengetahui permasalahan tenurial yang terjadi di kawasan CB-BTSA dan CB-B yang menjadi kunci dalam keberhasilan pengelolaan cagar biofer. Penelitian ini menunjukkn bahwa CBBTSA dan CB-B adalah kawasan strategis dalam program konservasi dan pembangunan berkelanjutan di JAwa Timur. Konflik tenurial masih terjadi, dan beberapa aspek yang melatar belakangi terjadinya konflik. Beberapa aspek tersebut antara lain adalah  tuntutan ekonomi, tumpang tindih kebijakan, pemahaman yang salah akan status tanah, mis-informasi dan komunikasi, disharmonisasi hubungan komponen masyarakat, penegakan hukum, dan  kualitas pendidikan masyarakat sekitar cagar biosfer. Penangan konflik tenurial menjadi salah satu kunci dari pengelolaan cagar biofer. Penanganan konflik tersebut mutlak dilakukan pendekatan multisektorial dan melibatkan semua komponen masyrakat.Kata kunci: konflik lahan; pembangunan berkelanjutan; Cagar Biosfer

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of age on the sap of palm plants produced from A Murung Village, Sub Batu Benawa Hulu Sungai Tengah District, South Kalimantan. Based on simple linear regression analysis it can be seen the following equation: Y = 12.6612 - 0.2625999 * age plant. Sap production varies inversely with the mean age of palm plants with increasing age, the more little palm plant sap produced. F hit (15.24)> F tab (9:07) means that age has a significant influence on the production of palm juice either at the level of confidence of 5% or 1% of the above regression equation can be estimated (predicted) by age palm juice production plant . The results of the calculation of the correlation coefficient (r) indicates the closeness of the relationship between age with the production of palm juice, this is indicated by r values of -0.734597 (close to -1), mean age of palm plants have a very close correlation with the production of palm juice, while based on the coefficient of determination (R2) known value is 53.9632%, means the production of palm juice is influenced by the age factor while the remaining 53.96% influenced by other factors. Age factor has a strong relationship with the production of palm wine (the correlation coefficient of -0.734597. Age factor is inversely proportional to the roduction of palm juice, palm sugar The older age of the plants produced less sap, Age 11 years generating plants aren aren at most ( 10.68 liters) while the lowest is 30 years old (2.34 liters), Need palm cultivation in the area within the framework of sustainability brown sugar.Technic tapping sugar production in order to maximize the production of palm juice should really be considered, Ways to maximize production Nira through efforts to extend the period of tapping palm bunches of flowers should also be noted.Keywords :Age plants, production, Nira
