Abstract

This community service program aims to develop the river tourism potential in Kampung Jandi Mulia through collaboration between youth and housewives in creating digital creative content. The activities included digital literacy training, promotional video production, and social media-based marketing strategies. Analysis results showed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge, technical skills, and self-confidence, with an average score improvement of 28–30 percentage points compared to before the training. Participant satisfaction responses were highly positive, with 85% expressing satisfaction to high satisfaction with the program. This initiative also revived tourism promotion after infrastructure damage caused by flash floods and opened opportunities for the local creative economy. However, the program faced limitations in training duration and technical facilities, posing challenges to long-term sustainability. These findings indicate that community-based digital capacity building can be an effective strategy in optimizing local tourism potential.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy of teachers and students to support the quality of distance learning. The implementation method was carried out through practice-based training involving 20 participants from among teachers and students. Evaluation results showed that before the activity, the digital literacy level of participants was in the basic to intermediate category with an average score of 1-2, while after the activity there was a significant increase to an average score of 4-5. Participants' satisfaction responses also showed that 80% expressed satisfaction or were very satisfied, confirming the effectiveness of the training. This activity successfully addressed the needs of partners regarding the constraints of low digital competency in online learning, despite the limitations of the limited number of participants and the short duration of implementation. Therefore, this activity is recommended to be expanded and integrated into the ongoing professional development program for teachers and students.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Aek Pamingke Village in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) for data-driven digital marketing strategies. The activities were conducted through several stages, including needs analysis, intensive training, practical implementation, and evaluation. The initial analysis revealed that most MSME participants had limited knowledge and skills in digital marketing, with 60% categorized as having low understanding before the program. After the training, significant improvement was recorded, with 50% of participants reporting being very satisfied and 35% satisfied. The program’s impact was evident in the participants’ improved ability to design more effective data-driven marketing strategies. The main limitations of this program were the relatively small number of participants and the limited implementation time, indicating the need for extended programs with broader coverage in the future.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the creativity of vocational high school students through the introduction of basic artificial intelligence (AI)-based digital marketing. The implementation method included literature review, partner needs assessment, and hands-on training involving 20 participants. The results revealed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding, where initially 80% were categorized as low, but after the training, 60% were categorized as good. Satisfaction responses also indicated that most participants felt satisfied or highly satisfied with the materials and delivery methods. This program demonstrates that introducing AI-based digital marketing can serve as an effective approach to foster 21st-century skills among vocational school students. However, the limitation of this activity lies in its short duration, which restricted the coverage of advanced materials, yet it provides a strong foundation for future community service initiatives.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to empower elementary school teachers in developing innovative learning content through the use of social media platforms, particularly short-video applications. The initiative was motivated by the challenges of low digital literacy among teachers and the limited use of social media as an effective learning tool. The program was implemented through workshops, hands-on content creation practices, and technical mentoring. The results indicate a significant improvement in teachers’ skills in producing social-media-based learning media, as reflected in the differences between their understanding and abilities before and after the program. Participant responses showed high levels of satisfaction, with most teachers acknowledging that the training supported their creativity and innovation in teaching. However, the program faced limitations in terms of its relatively short duration and unequal technological infrastructure across schools. These findings suggest that similar programs are highly relevant to be developed sustainably to support the improvement of teachers’ digital competencies.
