Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the magnitude of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The data used in this study is secondary data for 2017-2021 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The data analysis method in this study is panel data regression using Eviews 10. The results of this study show that Regional Taxes, Separated Regional Wealth Management Results, and Other Legal Local Original Revenues partially have a significant and positive effect on Local Original Revenues in the districts / cities of North Sumatra province, while Regional Levies do not have a significant and negative effect on Regional Original Revenue in districts / cities of North Sumatra province.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of Inflation, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and Investment on Educated Unemployment in Lhokseumawe City. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from publications by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Medium Term Development Plan (RPJM) of Lhokseumawe City for 15 years (2008-2022). This research uses the Multiple Linear Regression analysis method using Eviews. The results of this research show that inflation has a positive effect on educated unemployment in the city of Lhokseumawe. Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) has no effect on educated unemployment in the city of Lhokseumawe. And investment has a positive effect on educated unemployment in the city of Lhokseumawe. Based on the results of tests carried out simultaneously on inflation, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and investment have a significant effect on educated unemployment in Lhokseumawe City.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of general allocation funds, special allocation funds, local taxes, and local expenditures on GRDP. This study uses a combination of cross-sectional data with time series on 19 districts and cities in West Sumatra Province during 2017-2021. The data analysis method used is panel data regression with the help of Eviews 10. The results of this study prove that the General Allocation Fund has a negative and significant effect on GRDP. The Special Allocation Fund, Regional Taxes, and Regional Expenditures have a positive and significant effect on GRDP. The magnitude of the influence of the General Allocation Fund, Special Allocation Fund, Regional Taxes, and Regional Expenditure on GRDP is 99.89%, and the remaining 0.10% is influenced by other variables outside this model. It is recommended to the district and city governments in West Sumatra Province to be able to realize general allocation funds, special allocation funds, local taxes, and regional expenditures properly so that the economy in West Sumatra is stable and the welfare of the community increases.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of open unemployment, poverty and income inequality on crime in Aceh Province. The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of a time series for 1999-2023 obtained from the Aceh Central Statistics Agency. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression. The research results show that the level of open unemployment and income inequality have a positive and insignificant effect on crime in Aceh Province. Meanwhile, poverty has a negative and significant effect on crime in Aceh Province. Simultaneously, the level of open unemployment, poverty and income inequality have a significant effect on crime in Aceh Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of  labor force participation, human development index (HDI) on poverty in the 10 urban districts with the highest poverty in 2020. The data used in this research is data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The analysis method used is panel data regression using the E-views10 program. The research results show that partially the labor force participation rate variable is negative and significant on poverty, the human development index variable has a significant and significant effect on poverty. Simultaneous research results, the labor force participation rate variable and the human development index have a significant effect on poverty. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.938870, which means that the influence of the labor force participation rate and human development index on poverty is 0.938870 or 93.88% while the remaining 6.12% is influenced by variables outside this research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji keterkaitan antara tingkat pengangguran dengan belanja daerah, Pembayaran rendah, dan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB). Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Regresi Data Panel dengan perangkat lunak Eviews 10 untuk menguji gabungan data cross-sectional dan time series dari 25 kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Sumatera Utara dari tahun 2019 sampai dengan tahun 2023. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, tingkat pengangguran di kabupaten/kota tersebut dipengaruhi secara positif dan mengesankan oleh Pembayaran rendah, tetapi secara negatif oleh PDRB. Terdapat pengaruh negatif dari belanja daerah, meskipun secara statistik tidak mengesankan. Tingkat pengangguran dipengaruhi secara mengesankan dan menguntungkan oleh PDRB, belanja daerah, dan Pembayaran rendah secara keseluruhan. Untuk mengurangi pengangguran, Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Utara harus memprioritaskan peningkatan pertumbuhan PDRB dan melaksanakan kebijakan belanja daerah dan Pembayaran rendah.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of income inequality, and export growth on CO2 Emissions in Indonesia. This research uses secondary data from 1990-2021 obtained from the World Bank. The data analysis model uses a Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) analysis. The research results show that in the short term income inequality has a negative and significant effect on CO2 Emissions in Indonesia, while in the long term income inequality has a positive and insignificant effect on Indonesia's CO2 Emissions. Export growth in the short term has a positive and significant effect on Indonesia's CO2 emissions, while in the long term export growth has a positive and insignificant effect on CO2 emissions in Indonesia.

Abstract

The study is aimed at recognizing the impact of population size, minimum wage and GRDP on the participation rate of the labor force in the Northern Sumatra Province. The data used in this study is a combination of the time series and cross section at 2017-2021. The data obtained in this study is from the statistical center (BPS) of 30 Districts/Northern Sumatera Province. The best model chosen in this study is the Random Effect Model (REM). Partially population and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) positive and significant effect on the level of labor force participation rate, minimum wage has positive and no significant impact on the labor force participation rate. Population, minimum wage and GRDP simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the labor force participation rate.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Gender Development Index (GDI) and Gender Empowerment Index (GEI) on the female labor force participation rate in Indonesia. This research uses Secondary data sourced from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Indonesia for the period 2008-2022. The data was analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression analysis method. Partial research results show that the Gender Development Index (GDI) variable has no effect and is not significant to the Female Labor Force Participation Rate and the Gender Empowerment Index (GEI) variable has an effect and is significant to the Female Labor Force Participation Rate in Indonesia. Simultaneously, the Gender Development Index (GDI) and Gender Empowerment Index (GEI)variables have a significant effect on the Female Labor Force Participation Rate in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the number of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), workers in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and domestic investment (PMDN) on Indonesia's economic growth, both in the short and long term. The data used in this study are secondary time series data from 1993 to 2023, obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the World Bank. The analysis was conducted using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. The result showed that in the short run the number of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMeS), worker MSMeS, and domestic investment is positive and significantly effect economy growth of indonesia in the long run the number of micro, small and medium (MSMes), worker MSMeS, and domestic investment are also positive and significantly effect economy growth of indonesia.
