Abstract

The Berliana store sells furniture such as small tables and cupboards which are located in the Penggilingan area, the East Jakarta area. This store started selling activities in mid-2012. The development of an information system at Berliana store was aimed at managing the store's administrative system, especially for the sales department with consumers or buyers and goods inventory. The system development method used in this research is waterfall. Meanwhile, to design, visualize and document the system, object-oriented modeling or UML is used. The UML diagrams used for system modeling in this paper are use-case diagrams, class diagrams and sequence diagrams. While the programming language used is the JAVA programming language with NetBeans 7.4 supporting devices as the design medium. The results of this study are expected to make product sales and marketing at Berliana Furniture Stores more efficient and effective in buying and selling activities.

Abstract

Bread is one of the products that are mostly produced by small and medium industries (SMEs). Along with the increase in bread production by SMEs, it has the potential to cause many environmental problems. The main environmental problems faced by the bread industry are waste management, efficient use of materials, water and energy during the production process. One solution that can be done to solve these problems is through the application of the circular economy concept. This research aims to study the production process of various flavours of bread and analyse the potential application of the circular economy concept for the development of a sustainable bakery industry by utilising bread waste into valuable products, and to learn how waste is handled in the bakery industry. The research was conducted through field observations and literature studies. The research data were processed, analysed and presented descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study show that the concept of circular economy that can be adopted in the bakery industry such as the utilisation of solid waste in the form of pieces of peeled white bread and unsold bread scraps, as animal feed ingredients.

Abstract

Fintech startups, especially those in the peer-to-peer lending model, have major challenges regarding security risks and fraud. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the creation of an effective antifraud system to increase transaction security on peer-to-peer lending platforms. By understanding the characteristics of possible fraud and applying advanced technology, it is hoped that this system can provide better protection against security risks.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the information system and cash receipt procedures from bus ticket sales at PT.ABCD and evaluate the compatibility of the accounting information system and procedures applied in the company with business aspects. The research method employed is qualitative, using a descriptive analysis approach with qualitative techniques. Data collection involves preliminary surveys, field studies through interviews, and document collection. The results of the study indicate that the accounting information system and cash receipt procedures in bus ticket sales are in line with business aspects, but there are still shortcomings. Some documentation processes are not fully compliant, and certain activities are carried out without specific and continuous rules. Despite the use of computerized cash receipt systems, there are still manual processes leading to inconsistency in recording, which may potentially result in ineffectiveness during future audits.

Abstract

A gas cylinder is a container in the shape of a tube and is used to store gas produced from oil refineries. The manufacturing process goes through various processes and the selection of strong materials to withstand the gas pressure in the cylinder. The main materials used in making the 12 kg gas cylinder are JIS SG 255 and SPHC. The 12 kg tube was designed with a tube height of 750 mm and a diameter of 280 mm. The SMAW welding process was carried out for the circumference and GMAW welding for the handguard and footring. To determine the area and volume of the weld on the 12 kg gas cylinder, area and volume calculations were carried out, so that it can be seen that the surface area of the 12 kg gas cylinder is 30.772 mm2, while the weld volume of the tube is known to be 115.395 cm3. Then, after welding the gas cylinder, proceed with annealing to restore the condition of the tube after welding with gradual heat temperatures, namely 200°C, 600°C and 200°C with a time of ± 14 minutes. Leak testing on tubes is carried out with two types of tests, namely hydrostatic tests and leak tests, hydrostatic tests on tubes use 31 bar water pressure with a quality of 50%, while for this leak test the tube is given air to find out whether the gas cylinder has a leak or not with a quality of 100 %.

Abstract

There are many ways to learn some foreign language. Some people are afraid to learn a foreign language because they are afraid of the high costs. This can be solved by using a website-based online chat application, which provides features for practicing foreign language conversations. The "Website-based Online Chat" application applies MERN stack technology (MongoDB, Express JS, React JS, Node JS). The design of this application aims to provide an interactive and effective foreign language learning experience. The "Online Chat" application allows users to interact directly via the chat feature in real time. The output of this research is a website-based Online Chat Application Prototype developed with MERN technology, which consists of components such as Mongo DB, Express JS, React, and Node JS. This application provides a feature for communicating via Online Chat in real time so that communication can be more efficient and ontime.

Abstract

Farmers use tractors to shorten land processing time so that it is completed quickly and the results of  land are better. Farmers risk of posture injury when operating a tractor. The RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) is one methods used to investigate the risk of abnormalities will be experienced in carrying work activities. This research is to analyze the risk of farmers' posture when using paddy plow tractor seat. The risk of farmers' posture when driving a rice plow using results seat on paddy field plow is dominantly green, which means the posture is acceptable, where the final score value in the RULA analysis output results is 2, which means the worker works with a posture that has no risk injury.

Abstract

Sand casting is one of the metal casting methods that has been developed and is still being improved. Sand casting is a type of metal casting that use sand molds. There are several ways to make sand casting, However, this study use the jolt squeeze technique to create complex product forms such as the nozzle component of the air brake coupling. FCD 500 nodular cast iron alloy castings are used in the production of brake coupling nozzles. The goal of this research focuses on the metal casting technique for nozzle products for brake coupling, and then continue with the tensile testing procedure. Tensile testing utilizing JIS Z 2201 standards with two sampels with different diameters, specifically 12,46 mm and 12,79 mm, and material types FCD 500-1 and FCD 500-2. The research results show the sequence of the nozzle metal casting process for brake couplings, through the stages of designing, constructing models and cores, making molds, melting, pouring, fettling and finishing, and quality control. Tensile stress values of 525 N/mm2 and 546,189 N/mm2 were obtained for each FCD 500-1 and FCD 500-2 sampels, with force loads of 64000 N and 70130,66 N, respectively.

Abstract

A significant increase in consumption of natural resources in the household sector is the use of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) gas, this can increase the risk of fire due to leaks from gas cylinders. These gas leaks are often unknown to users because not all LPG cylinder manufacturers provide a security system for the LPG cylinders they sell, so not all homes have gas leak sensors on LPG cylinders, therefore a tool is needed to detect LPG gas leaks. In view of these problems, in this research a device was created that can detect gas in a room with an MQ-2 sensor and apply a notification system using Telegram as an SMS notification sender and a buzzer as an alarm. The design of this detection tool as a whole is controlled by the NodeMCU ESP8226. During system testing, when a gas leak is detected at a distance of 1cm – 100cm with the MQ-2 sensor, the system will provide a notification via Telegram and activate the alarm (the buzzer will beep). The process of sending this message takes around 4-6 seconds. The tool was also tested on two different cellphones and obtained the expected results and good performance.

Abstract

Schools such as SDIT (Integrated Islamic Elementary School), MI (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah), SMPIT (Integrated Islamic Junior High School), MTs (Madrasah Tsanawiyah), SMAIT (Integrated Islamic High School), MA (Madrasah Aliyah) are schools with a higher percentage of religious studies compared to other public or private schools. One of the religious lessons in the Islamic school is Arabic. Of course, it is not easy to learn Arabic because Arabic is not a daily language used in Indonesia either at school or at home. Arabic is like any other language that has vocabulary, substitutes, basic word changes and others. When they are in middle school or equivalent to junior high school and MTS, students have begun to learn the science of shorof and dhomir (substitute words). This causes students to learn more Arabic in various media, one of which is learning through the website. The purpose of creating this website is as an alternative for students in learning shorof. The development of this website uses the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) method using the HTML programming language. With this website, students can learn shorof with more enthusiasm.
