Abstract

This study analyzes Indonesia's cooperation with South Korea in realizing Net Zero Emission (NZE) through the Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle (KBLBB) program. With the Theory of Environmentalism, the Concept of Anthropocentrism and the Concept of Environmental Regime, this study explores how the KBLBB program can be one of the strategic programs for mitigating climate change in the energy sector, especially transportation. Indonesia as one of the contributors to global greenhouse gas emissions, requires solutions to reduce carbon emissions and accelerate the green energy transition. With reference to the UNFCCC through the Long-Term Strategy for Low Carbon and Climate Resilience (LTS-LCCR), there are several targets that need to be achieved by Indonesia in the short, medium and long term for the realization of NZE 2060. However, Indonesia faces several challenges in developing infrastructure and production of electric vehicles, which requires Indonesia to partner with South Korea through the Indonesia-Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IK-CEPA). This study reveals the importance of bilateral collaboration, technology transfer and investment to accelerate KBLBB.

Abstract

Collateral is a fundamental requirement in credit transactions, both in conventional and Islamic banking and financial institutions. However, with the advancement of the times, it becomes necessary to examine the legal framework governing the use of copyright as collateral under a pawn scheme. Furthermore, how can copyright be utilized as collateral in credit transactions in accordance with both positive law and Islamic law? This study adopts a normative-empirical approach, analyzing regulations related to intellectual property rights—particularly copyright—and secured transactions such as Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright, Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 9 of 2007 on Bank Credit Collateral, and the DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 68 of 2008 on Rahn Tasjily. The findings of this study indicate that under the Copyright Law, copyright can indeed serve as collateral in credit transactions, but only through the fiduciary scheme. In practice, however, both conventional and Islamic banks have not yet fully implemented copyright-based collateral due to the absence of specific regulations that comprehensively govern such practices.

Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing the cooperation between the United States and Australia within the framework of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF), particularly in realizing the clean economy pillar. Grounded in the Theory of Neoliberalism and the Concept of International Cooperation, this study aims to further examine the dynamics of IPEF collaboration, especially in the context of bilateral relations between the United States and Australia, to enhance economic growth through commodity exports and the development of low-carbon clean technologies to ensure environmental security and sustainability in the face of industrialization. In implementing the clean economy pillar of IPEF, the involvement of Non-State Actors in the energy sector, particularly Chevron Corporation, plays a crucial role in supporting and maximizing Australia’s agenda to become an energy superpower while maintaining environmental safety as a priority. Chevron’s presence is significant in the IPEF cooperation between the United States and Australia due to its substantial impact on the domestic economy and its tangible commitment to carbon emission reduction. This research reveals the importance of bilateral cooperation, investment, and the development of clean technologies in achieving the clean economy pillar of the IPEF.

Abstract

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in legal practice is increasingly growing, particularly in legal precedent research and the drafting of court documents. This study employs a normative juridical approach and aims to examine the legal aspects of a specific case, focusing on the professional responsibility of lawyers, procedural law provisions, and the impact on the integrity of the judicial system. The findings indicate that although AI enhances efficiency, its use without human verification can undermine legal credibility and lead to ethical and legal sanctions for practitioners.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of raw material inventory at the home industry Pabrik Kerupuk Citra, focusing on the optimization of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), safety stock, lead time, and reorder point during the 2022 to 2024 period. The data used include annual demand, ordering costs, and holding costs, with the assumption of a three-day lead time and a 95% service level. The calculation results show that EOQ values increased each year, amounting to 1,837 kg in 2022, 1,673 kg in 2023, and 1,722 kg in 2024. This increase reflects adjustments to the dynamics of costs and raw material needs. In addition, safety stock also rose from 77.9 kg (2022) to 82.6 kg (2024), in line with the growth in daily demand. Nevertheless, the short lead time allows the company to maintain inventory efficiency with an optimal level of security. The reorder point was calculated proportionally to the raw material requirements, highlighting the importance of a timely reordering system. This study concludes that implementing the EOQ method integrated with the management of safety stock and reorder point can improve inventory cost efficiency and ensure a smooth production process. Strategic recommendations include regular monitoring of cost variables, demand, and delivery accuracy, as well as the implementation of an automated inventory control system.
