Abstract

The rapid development of online news media has led to a significant increase in the amount of information published daily, requiring analytical methods capable of systematically organizing information. Suarapublik.id, as an online news platform operating in the field of information and communication, publishes diverse news headlines covering various topics, which may complicate the identification of content patterns. This study aims to cluster news headlines on the suarapublik.id website using the K-Means Clustering method based on text mining techniques. The literature review of this research is grounded in the concepts of text mining, text preprocessing, TF-IDF weighting, and the K-Means algorithm as a text clustering method. This research employs a quantitative approach with 100 news headlines collected manually and processed using the Google Colab platform. Data analysis was conducted through text preprocessing, TF-IDF weighting, determination of the optimal number of clusters using the Elbow Method, and K-Means clustering. The results show that seven distinct clusters were formed, each representing different news themes, reflecting the content patterns and topic tendencies on suarapublik.id. This study demonstrates that the K-Means method is effective in automatically and systematically clustering news headlines.

Abstract

The development of information technology requires educational institutions to provide information media that are accessible, efficient, and well structured. However, SD Negeri 1 Penyandingan does not yet have an official website, causing information dissemination to rely on manual methods that are less effective. This condition limits access to information for parents and the community. This study aims to design and develop a responsive school profile website using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach to improve accessibility and the effectiveness of information delivery. The research employed a qualitative and applicative method, with data collected through interviews and observations involving school staff and parents. The UCD stages were applied, including user needs analysis, system design, and implementation. The results indicate that the developed website is able to present school information clearly, systematically, and accessibly across various devices, particularly mobile devices. The website meets user needs and aligns with the context of a rural elementary school environment. This study contributes to strengthening the application of User-Centered Design and responsive web design in the development of educational websites. Future research is recommended to develop more dynamic systems and conduct more comprehensive usability and performance testing.

Abstract

Puskesmas merupakan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan tingkat pertama yang berperan penting dalam memberikan layanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat. Dalam pelaksanaannya, masih terdapat puskesmas yang menerapkan proses pelayanan secara manual, khususnya pada pendaftaran pasien dan pengelolaan antrean. Kondisi tersebut dapat menyebabkan antrean panjang, waktu tunggu yang lama, serta keterbatasan informasi layanan yang berdampak pada kenyamanan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang antarmuka dan pengalaman pengguna aplikasi layanan kesehatan berbasis mobile pada Puskesmas Muara Kumpeh. Perancangan dilakukan dengan pendekatan yang berfokus pada pengguna agar solusi yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kondisi di lapangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Lean UX, yang menekankan proses perancangan secara bertahap dan melibatkan pengguna dalam memberikan umpan balik terhadap desain. Hasil penelitian berupa rancangan prototipe aplikasi layanan kesehatan yang mendukung proses pelayanan, seperti pendaftaran pasien, informasi antrean, dan jadwal dokter. Prototipe yang dihasilkan diharapkan dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi pengguna dalam mengakses layanan kesehatan serta menjadi acuan awal dalam pengembangan sistem layanan kesehatan berbasis mobile. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mendukung peningkatan efisiensi pelayanan dan kenyamanan pasien di Puskesmas Muara Kumpeh.

Abstract

The current challenge is how to provide fast, accurate, and targeted information to the public. In the context of village government, information delivery is often still done manually, such as through direct announcements, circulars, or word of mouth. This method is certainly more time-consuming and has the potential to lead to misunderstandings. Therefore, a system is needed that can deliver information efficiently, especially to the community who have an interest in it. The appropriate goal is to ensure that the public receives information only those who align with the category or need of the message being conveyed, thereby preventing the dissemination of irrelevant information. Implementing a mass messaging application using the WhatsApp Gateway system can be an effective solution for Barusjahe Village. By utilizing this technology, village officials can send important information such as activity announcements, administrative notices, service schedules, and emergency information quickly and simultaneously. This system also allows for grouping community data by hamlet, type of interest, or specific category so that messages can be sent in a more targeted manner. Barusjahe Village, with its large population and four hamlets, should utilize information technology to improve the quality of public services. Furthermore, system access rights can be designed to avoid overlapping between users. This ensures data security and consistency. Each admin or operator can only access and manage data within their authority. Through the implementation of this application, it is hoped that the information delivery process in villages will become more modern, efficient, transparent, and targeted.

Abstract

The Indonesian film industry has experienced significant growth in terms of production and audience numbers. However, films with nationalist themes, such as Merah Putih: One for All, face challenges in gaining popularity compared to more viral entertainment films. This study aims to analyze audience sentiment and to identify the influence of nationalism values in shaping public perception of the film. A Natural Language Processing approach was employed using the Random Forest algorithm to classify online reviews into positive, negative, and neutral categories. The data were collected from social media and digital platforms and processed using the Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency technique for feature representation and the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique to address class imbalance. The results indicate that neutral sentiment dominates the reviews, followed by positive and negative sentiments. These findings suggest that the film is more appreciated by audience segments interested in nationalist messages, although it has not yet reached a broader audience. This study contributes to the application of data-driven sentiment analysis to support promotional strategies for national films and to better understand audience characteristics in a more comprehensive manner.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology requires government institutions to implement administrative digitalization to improve effectiveness and transparency. The management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) at the Balai Penerapan Modernisasi Pertanian (BRMP) Jambi is still conducted manually and in a fragmented manner, resulting in difficulties in document retrieval, updating, distribution, and monitoring. This study aims to design and develop a web-based SOP Information System using the Laravel Framework. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through observation, interviews, and literature review, while system development applied the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. System testing was conducted using black box testing and feasibility evaluation through a Likert scale, indicating a very feasible user acceptance level. The system effectively supports administrative digitalization and enhances SOP management at BRMP Jambi.

Abstract

Selecting a laptop that meets user needs is often a challenging problem due to the large number of available alternatives and the variety of criteria that must be considered, such as price, RAM, processor, and storage capacity. The main problem addressed in this study is how to determine the best laptop recommendation objectively and systematically based on these criteria. This study aims to develop a decision support system for laptop selection using the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method. The TOPSIS method is applied because it can identify the best alternative based on its closeness to the positive ideal solution and its distance from the negative ideal solution. The research stages include collecting laptop specification data, determining criteria weights, normalizing the decision matrix, calculating the distance to ideal solutions, and determining preference values and alternative rankings. The results show that the developed system is able to provide accurate and consistent laptop recommendations and is in accordance with the manual calculation of the TOPSIS method. Therefore, this system can assist users in making more effective, efficient, and objective decisions when selecting laptops.

Abstract

The development of information systems and technology requires businesses in the food and beverage sector, including coffee shops and restaurants, to align their information systems with their business goals. Vion Coffee currently uses Opaper (POS) and Absensiku application. However, these systems are not yet integrated, so they have not yet fully supported operational activities and decision-making processes. Therefore, a strategic information system planning is needed to improve operational effectiveness and business competitiveness. This research uses the Anita Cassidy method, comprising four stages: visioning, analysis, direction, and recommendation. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed using several tools, such as the Value Chain, Porter’s Five Forces, SWOT analysis, and the McFarlan Grid. Based on the analysis result, four IS/IT solution recommendations were proposed. These solutions are arranged on a multi-year development roadmap, considering business needs, cost estimates, and implementation schedules. This strategic plan is expected to guide the gradual, sustainable development of information systems at Vion Coffee to improve operational performance and support future business growth.

Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong sektor perhotelan untuk melakukan transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan administrasi operasional. Hotel OYO Raz Residence masih menghadapi permasalahan administrasi, khususnya dalam pengelolaan data tamu, absensi karyawan, dan pemesanan kamar yang belum terintegrasi serta masih dilakukan secara manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem administrasi perhotelan terintegrasi yang berorientasi pada kebutuhan pengguna melalui pendekatan User Interface dan User Experience dengan metode Design Thinking. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melibatkan resepsionis, karyawan hotel, dan tamu sebagai pengguna sistem. Metode Design Thinking diterapkan melalui lima tahapan, yaitu empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Hasil penelitian berupa prototipe aplikasi administrasi perhotelan yang mencakup modul pengelolaan data tamu, absensi karyawan, dan pemesanan kamar yang dirancang menggunakan aplikasi Figma. Evaluasi usability sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 83,91, yang termasuk dalam kategori Excellent, Grade B, dan tingkat Acceptability Acceptable. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sistem memiliki tingkat kegunaan yang baik dan dapat diterima oleh pengguna dalam mendukung aktivitas administrasi operasional hotel, meskipun masih terdapat peluang pengembangan lebih lanjut pada aspek antarmuka dan pengalaman pengguna.

Abstract

The application of data analytics in technology-based retail business has become a key factor in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes by analyzing data collected from various sources. This study aims to analyze how the utilization of data analytics technology is applied in the business processes of Es Teh Segar Mantap retail and to measure the extent to which the use of data analytics can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes at Es Teh Segar Mantap retail. This research approach is quantitative. This approach is very strong because it prioritizes the collection of data in numerical form using statistical analysis. This study was conducted deliberately (Purposive Sampling) in Suren Hamlet, Tepos Village, Banyuglugur District, Situbondo Regency. In this study random sampling was used. The results of this study show that the integrated use of data analytics has a tangible impact on the business performance of Es Teh Segar Mantap. Based on the results of sales analysis in the Es Teh Segar Mantap business, the original flavor variant contributed the most to sales, reaching more than 83% of total sales
