Current environmental problems have become a serious threat to human life. One way to reduce this threat is to change the  paradigm  of  the  younger  generation  through education. Environmental Education (PLH) is the right step to implement, especially in Adiwiyata schools. This study aims to analyze students environmental care attitudes by learning  monolithic  and  integrated  environmental education. This research was conducted in 4 adiwiyata high schools. The method used is a survey. The total sample was307 students. The technique used through the questionnaire environmental attitudes of students. Data analysis was performed by t-test. The t-test results showed that therewere differences in students' environmental care attitudes between monolithic learning and integration. Differences in attitudes to care for the environment are found in 3 indicators namely, attitudes towards energy, attitudes towards flora and fauna and attitudes towards the social and human environment. Analysis of environmental care attitudes category found that monolithic PLH learning was1.24%  in  the  excellent  category,  98.76  in  the  goodcategory.  While  PLH  integration  is  1.39%  very  good,93.10% is good and 5.51% is low. It was concluded that students with monolithic PLH learning had environmental care attitudes that were better than students' attitudes withPLH integration learning.

This study aimed at (1) finding the types of reference as cohesive device in essays written by the fourth semester students of the English study program Universitas Riau, and  (2)  calculating  the  frequency  of  reference  used  in essays  written  by  the  fourth  semester  students  of  the English  study program  Universitas Riau. Documentation such as written texts was the main technique of collecting the required data. The data were analyzed by using theories from Halliday and Hassan (2013) about references as cohesive devices in the essays written by the students and by giving the percentage on the use of references. The research findings showed that all the types of reference as cohesive devices were used in the essays written by the fourth semester students with the total number of 954 devices. The most frequent reference cohesive devices used by  the  fourth  semester  students  of  the  English  study program Universitas Riau was personal reference with the percentage of 53.3% followed by demonstrative reference with the percentage of 45.8% and comparative reference with the percentage 0.9%. It could be concluded that Personal reference was the most frequently used because it may refer not only to a particular person or object, but also to any identifiable person.

Learning entrepreneurship is very important for special students in vocational high schools (SMK). However, there are still many students getting entrepreneurial grades under the   standard   (KKM).   It   can   be   said   that   student achievement in entrepreneurship subjects is low, this is inseparable from the factors that influence learning achievement such as: family environment, education costs, and reading interest. The research objective is to look at the effect of family environment and educational costs on student achievement both simultaneously and partially and to see the influence of family environment, education costs, and reading interest on learning achievement both simultaneously and partially. The population in this study was the entire class XI Pharmacy Pharmacy Ikasari Pekanbaru with 249 students. The sampling technique used Simple Random Sampling with a sample size of 153 students. The data in this study were secondary data obtained  from school documents  in  the form of  student daily test scores and primary data obtained from questionnaires filled out by students. The results showed that family environment and education costs had a positive and significant effect on learning achievement both 43.4% simultaneously and partially with a large coefficient of peht 43.6% and 39.7% and family environment, education costs, and reading interest positive and significant effect both simultaneously at 56.3% and partial with a peht coefficient of 16.5%, 13.2%, and 57.3%.

This study examined the effect of differentiated instruction on senior secondary school students’ achievement in mathematics in Nigeria within the blueprint of the pre-test, post-test non- equivalent control group quasi-experimental research design. The sample comprised 220 students in which three research questions and three null hypotheses guided the study. The experimental group was taught with the differentiated instruction while the control group received instruction with the conventional teaching method for eight weeks. Three valid and reliable instruments, Mathematics Achievement Test (KR-20=0.89), Felder-Soloman Index of Learning Styles (Cronbach α=0.92), and McKenzie Multiple Intelligences Inventory (Cronbach α=0.90), were used for data collection. Results revealed that students in the differentiated instruction group performed significantly better than students in the conventional teaching method group. Also, male students performed slightly better than female students with differentiated instruction, although no significant difference existed between the achievement of male and female students taught mathematics using differentiated instruction. There was no significant main effect of gender on students’ achievement in mathematics. Also, there was no significant interaction effect of treatment and gender on students’ achievement in mathematics. The differentiated instruction made lesson more fascinating, stress-free and created co-operation among students. It was thus, recommended that differentiated instruction be adopted by mathematics teachers in teaching mathematics at the senior secondary school level in Nigeria.

The results of the preliminary study indicate that the learning tools used by the teacher do not meet the 2013 curriculum rules. This study aims to produce learning tools with the application of discovery learning to improve Mathematical Problem Solving Ability (KPMM) on social arithmetic materials for grade VII junior high school. This study used the Borg and Gall development model with stages: (1) research and data collection; (2) planning; (3) development of learning tools; (4) limited trials; (5) product revisions; (6) field trials; (7) product revisions; (8) final product test; (9) revision of the final product; and (10) dissemination and implementation. The validation results showed that it was very valid with consecutive average percentages for KPMM problems that were 94.64%, syllabus was 90.10%, RPP was 93.14%, and LKPD was92.60%. In the final product test phase, learning tools wereused through pre-experimental research to see the increase in KPMM. The final product test results indicated that there was an increase in KPMM of students using learning tools. This means that the learning tool with the application of discovery learning in social arithmetic material in class VII SMP has been valid, practical, and effective.

This research was motivated by the lack of learning tools that can improve students' Mathematical Communication Skills (KKM). Activities that can encourage students to improve KKM have not been designed by the teacher in the learning device properly. This study aims to produce learning tools by applying Problem Based Learning models to improve KKM. This development research used the ADDIE development model with the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of Syllabus, RPP, LKPD and KKM validation results showed highly valid criteria with percentages of91.67%, 91.30%, 89.09%, and 87.15%, respectively.Practicality results indicate a very practical criterion with the percentage of small group trials at 95.57%, large group trials at 96.07%, and teacher responses at 96.25%. The effectiveness test results state that KKM of students who use learning tools with PBL models is better than KKM of students who use conventional learning.

This research was motivated by the lack of learning devices that are considered to be able to train students mathematical problem solving abilities. The purpose of this study was to develop mathematical learning tools that meet the valid, practical, and effective requirements to improve the mathematical problem solving abilities of students in grade VIII SMP on flat side space. The development model used was the 4D model. Based on the results of the validation data analysis, it was concluded that the learning device developed was valid. The results of the syllabus validation were 80.56%, RPP 81.43%, LKPD 87.34%, pretest questions 78.94%, posttest questions 79.86%. This learning tool fulfills the practical requirements in large group trials with an average performance result of 93.06% and an average questionnaire response of students 91.21%. The use of effective learning tools has improved the student learning outcomes. Development of learning tools can significantly improve students mathematical problem solving abilities at a significant level of 0,000 with α =0.05. This shows that the learning tools that was developedalready meet the valid, practical, and effective requirements and can improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities.
