Abstract

This research describes the online registration Website, which is based on the solutions obtained from the research conducted at English Language School Padang. It was concluded that the old Information System (manual system) used is no longer relevant to the needs of the user, after the study of English Language School Padang by collecting data containing the Problems with the system manual, researchers provide solutions to the problem, by creating a Web Base System (website) that is done by doing the steps in designing the design of output inputs, and processes. The results of the analysis and the stage is applied in the application of the website that is more interactive and relevant to the needs of the user, in conducting their activities.

Abstract

In building a system, it was needed a quality guarantee. A system could be stated well qualified, if it met the user needs. The quality could be measured from various points of views. One point of views to measure the software quality was focusing on user satisfaction (user based). To know the quality of a system, it was needed a quality analysis of its system. There was a lack of service when online warehouse administration system used to manage the warehouse material inventory in PT. PLN (Persero) Duri Rayon was used. This research aimed at finding proposed improvements for increasing the service quality percentage of online warehouse administration system based on ISO/IEC 9126 standard. The methods of collecting the data were using interview and questionnaire to know user complaints to the user. Maturity Model and Delay approaches were used to process the data. In testing the reliability level, online warehouse administration system was on the first level (the system was computerized, but it was not standardized yet). In testing the delay, all the delays in input were on good category and it could beunderstandable. Based on the levels of maturity and delay, the test showed that there was a need to improve and maintenance the online warehouse administration system to increase the performance of system service quality for users. so that the existence of repairs and maintenance systems can increase 26% to 41% the percentage of the quality of an information technology system.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology today, triggering all activities in all fields of using technology in carrying out its operational activities without exception Purwacaraka Padang in registering new students. This new online student registration information system is used to make it easier for prospective students to register without having to come directly to Purwacaraka Padang. In addition, with this application the activities carried out can be displayed in this application and provide the latest information to prospective students and the community. The design of this system uses the UML model (Unified Model Language) which can provide an overview of how the program runs and the interaction between actors and systems. In addition, the use of the PHP programming language that is supported by MySQL databases also makes this system an useful online information system.

Abstract

At the time of image processing where we only need a certain part of an image according to the needs called the Region of Interest (ROI), in order to obtain that, the processing is carried out in a cropping process. Cropping is mostly done by researchers, especially those who research in the field of image processing in order to do data processing on an image, the results of cropping process on an image are usually done to make it easier for researchers to focus on something that is needed only. In this study is to compare existing cropping methods to get a motif found in an image of West Sumatra songket fabric. In this study using the method of cropping rectangle, square, circle, ellipse, polygon and tested using the Matlab programming language. The results of comparison of 5 cropping methods for taking certain motifs on the songket image with 5 different songket image samples, shows that the best results are obtained by using the polygon method. Polygon method can reach certain coordinate points in a songket image, so that the results of cropping are better and other motives that are carried along during the cropping process can be reduced.

Abstract

Gastroenteritis is a digestive system disorder in the form of inflammation of the digestive system involving the stomach and small intestine. Gastroenteritis is usually called a stomach bug, gastro, or stomach virus. Although it has no connection with influenza, it is often referred to as stomach flu. Gastroenteritis is the most common digestive problem in children. Severe gastroenteritis will cause dehydration and electrolyte imbalance, this is caused by body fluids lost through diarrhea or vomiting. This system is a prototype and made as simple as possible, so that users can easily use it and redesign this expert system for other types. Because Because there are still many parents who do not know the symptoms of a disease. So an expert system was made that could diagnose early in gastroenteritis. By using a web-based forward chaining method, using this expert system, Gastroenteritis can be identified by looking at symptoms that can explain and describe whether a child is suspected of having a Gastroenteritis.

Abstract

Potensi bahaya (hazard) gempa bumi di Kota Pariaman cukup tinggi karena letaknya yang dekat dengan jalur patahan Semangko (Semangko Fault) atau patahan Barat Sumatera dan juga zona penujaman lempeng Palung Sunda yang dapat memicu terjadi gempabumi. Daerah penunjaman lempeng yang berada di dasar laut dapat berperan sebagai megathrust atau sesar anjak naik yang berpotensi untuk membangkitkan tsunami ketika terjadi gempa besar yang diikuti oleh deformasi vertical di lokasi tersebut.Wilayah Padang dan sekitar pantai Barat Sumatera merupakan dataran rendah yang memiliki resiko yang besar di dunia dari ancaman tsunami, yang dapat disebabkan oleh gempa bumi yang berasal dari Palung Sunda. Manajemen risiko harus fokus pada perlindungan penduduk dari gelombang tsunami dengan pemetaan yang cermat terhadap potensi wilayah yang terpapar dan objek penting dalam usaha mitigasi risiko yang tepat. Rencana mitigasi untuk pengelolaan bencana meliputi rekonstruksi dan langkahlangkah persiapan untuk kejadian bencana. Karena kita ketahui dari sumber bencana disebabkan oleh gempa bumi, zona-zona yang terkena dampak bencana ditentukan menggunakan sistem informasi geografis. Peta inundasi dibangun dengan sistem informasi geografis digunakan untuk berbagai keperluan. Potongan-potongan dari gedung dan lembaran[1]lembaran jalan dan peta lembaran inundasi digunakan untuk mendeteksi gedung yang terkena gelombang tsunami, Lokasi penelitian berada di zona rawan gempa bumi, tsunami dan berjarak dekat dengan garis pantai.

Abstract

Ketersediaan uang merupakan salah satu faktor yang paling penting dalam kualitas layanan di mesin ATM. Kebutuhan uang disetiap mesin ATM berbeda-beda sesuai dengan lokasi penepatan mesin ATM selain itu disebabkan juga oleh faktor musiman misalnya pada hari besar, hari libur atau weekend sehingga banyak terjadi transaksi penarikan uang tunai yang melebihi dari transaksi yang terjadi pada hari biasanya. Dengan menggunakan metode algoritma C4.5 untuk prediksi durasi waktu uang cashout (uang habis) dalam caset/kas ATM dapat membantu tim tambahan kas untuk memprediksi perkiraan waktu dan jumlah uang yang akan disediakan untuk pengisian uang berikutnya sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan kualitas pelayanan di mesin ATM.

Abstract

Tunneling is the process of packaging data sent by other protocols in a network. Point to point over Ethernet (PPPOE) andSecure Socket Tunneling Protocol (SSTP) are protocols that function or are designed to carry out tunneling processes. Datasecurity in this case is a top priority, with the encapsulation and authentication process making tunnels one of the many waysto secure data in a network. Besides security, network performance is something that must be considered in providing goodservices. In the process of testing the performance of PPPOE and SSTP using the Quality of Service method, it can beconcluded that SSTP is better in the parameters of Througput, Delay, and Jitter while PPPOE is better in Packet Loss. In thesecurity testing phase, both protocols have encapsulated data packets sent over an http-based web.

Abstract

Public transportation is a major part of developing an advanced and modern city. Progress in public transportation is needed to be planned and realized to deal with the development of the city together with population and economic growth. The use of the Trans Metro Pekanbaru bus transportation is not in line with the development and progress of the City of Pekanbaru, which wants to be a smart city, where the role of the Internet of Things (IoT) needs to be realized in building smart cities and currently the use of the Trans Metro Pekanbaru bus in Pekanbaru is still becoming a problem. it needs to be resolved like the Trans Metro Pekanbaru bus lane which still uses a shared lane which causes congestion and lack of good trafic regulations. Trans Metro Pekanbaru bus transportation is still weak in terms of arrival and departure times. Trans metro Pekanbaru has not yet been integrated in a system that can be monitored centrally through the application of an application system based on the Global Positioning System (GPS). To overcome this problem, it is necessary to have the Trans Metro Pekanbaru bus transportation in the form of a prototype line follower robot which is a solution to overcome this problem. The purpose of this research is to make the line follower robot as a trans-metro silmulation bus for Pekanbaru become a smart city that is able to serve and facilitate the public's need for public transportation towards the industrial revolution 4.0. Line follower robot is a robot that works by following a line in the form of a road such as a traf ic lane, where the robot works using photodiode sensors and ultrasonic sensors as proximity sensors so that it stops automatically at every stop or place where passengers rise and fall. Line follower robots are automatically controlled so programming code and fuzzy algorithms are needed. Line follower robots are also equipped with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) to determine passenger conditions.

Abstract

Purpose of this study is to test the accuracy of ear, nose and throat (ENT) diseases with an expert system. The expert system is designed to help people make early detection of illnesses so that the possibility of delay in treatment can be minimized. The method used is Naive Bayes with Forward Chaining Inference for 14 types of diseases with 42 symptoms originating from ENT specialists. The method was tested on 25 patients who used an expert system and adjusted the results of expert diagnoses. The test results are influenced by the number of symptoms, so that the accuracy obtained is only 88%. So this research is needed to be further developed to find a more reliable expert system in diagnosing ENT diseases.
