Abstract

Cognitive interpreted the intellectual potential consisting of stages of knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis, evaluation. Cognitive means issues involving the ability to develop rational skills (reason). This study aims to determine the improvement of cognitive development of children in recognizing the form after applied method of playing Mobile Robot in kindergarten. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Population in the sampling amounted to 20 children. Research data on cognitive development in recognizing form and creativity collected by observation method. The data of the research were analyzed by using descriptive statistic analysis method and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of data analysis show that there is an increase in cognitive development in recognizing the form and creativity after the application of the method of playing Mobile Robot One way to increase creativity in children in kindergarten is by playing mobile robot therapy. Mobile robot media is an activity to control and regulate the movement of the robot that involves and requires coordination between the eyes, hands, and concentration. It is necessary to approach and use mobile robot in the effectiveness of cognitive improvement in children. Mobile robot as a medium that becomes a play therapy device with mobile robot capability that can move and move from one place to another by following the pattern of lines that have been designed. The main purpose of this research is to design creativity according to the level of complexity of mobile robot use for children. In addition to the use of mobile robot as a medium of play therapy there is also analysis in research using Pre experimental design. Data collection to assess cognitive in children, collected data were analyzed by descriptive analysis and Rank Wilcoxon test.

Abstract

Mempelajari pemrograman sebaiknya dimulai dari cara-cara yang sederhana dan menyenangkan, terutama untuk seorang siswa. Apabila diawal dikenalkan dengan cara-cara yang sulit dipahami dan terkesan membosankan maka akan mengurangi minat belajar siswa. Kemudian jika dipaksakan untuk belajar di khawatirkan nantinya akan menghasilkan sistem yang tidak maksimal. Meskipun siswa mempunyai algoritma untuk menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan yang berbeda-beda tapi akan lebih baik kita gunakan algoritma yang lebih ringkas dan sederhana. Target silmulasi ini adalah SMK yang ada di kota Pekanbaru. Untuk mengukur kertercapaian kegiatan penelitian menggunakan scale likert dimana Skala Likert adalah skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur persepsi, sikap atau pendapat seseorang atau kelompok mengenai sebuah peristiwa atau fenomena sosial, berdasarkan definisi operasional yang telah ditetapkan oleh peneliti. Skala ini merupakan suatu skala psikometrik yang biasa diaplikasikan dalam angket dan paling sering digunakan untuk riset yang berupa survei, termasuk dalam penelitian survei deskriptif.

Abstract

The difficulty of getting knowledge about local customs especially Riau Malay tradition makes some people around not know much and still apply learning by using books that are still less recorded and too monotonous. Because Malay tradition there is a discussion that requires an explanation of the techniques used in learning and introducing Riau Malay tradition. Riau has many cultures, traditions and customs that are not well known to the younger generation or society in general. Customs and traditions that are believed to be hereditary and are the identity of an area must be maintained and preserved by the younger generation. One of them is Riau's Malay tradition. These customs and traditions need to be published to the public through multimedia, one of which is based on Android. The problem is the lack of knowledge about Riau Malay custom among the community. With this Android-based application, it is hoped that it will be able to preserve Riau Malay tradition more loved by the community.The scope of this study is limited to typical food, traditional clothing, tourism This type of research is descriptive research, using the method of field surveys and interviews with direct sources. This research aims to preserve the tradition of Malay Malay so that it does not become extinct and can be enjoyed by subsequent generations.

Abstract

The learning process is an important part of the world of education, especially education for autistic children, because through learning teachers can interact and evaluate their students directly. The problem that arises is how to provide good learning to autistic children who have obstacles and obstacles so far. Pekanbaru Lab School is a place for autistic children with 30 people in the age range of 6-15 years, where Pekanbaru Lab School also faces problems with the provision of teaching or learning to auits. There are five problems found in learning at the Pekanbaru Lab School to face the Indonesian Revolutionary era 4.0 in the field of education so that it becomes an obstacle namely the learning method, the role of the teacher in learning, students, facilities and infrastructure, the role of parents. With the problems faced by Pekanbaru Lab School as partners of the Community Partnership Program, a solution is needed to overcome these problems and prepare the Pekanbaru Lab School towards the era of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution in the field of Education. The first is the selection of a good learning method so as to improve teacher teaching skills by updating the curriculum that integrates with technology, especially Robot technology. Second is to increase the role of teachers in active learning to guide autistic children by continuing teacher education to higher education and facilitating teachers in training activities on autistic children. The three students who increase in number and have different characters, the solution is to add teachers as educators and according to competence and expertise of each teacher on the type or character of children with autism. The four facilities and infrastructure are by adding facilities such as adding classrooms and open spaces and adding therapeutic media by providing technological elements such as Ubtech Humanoid Robot technology. The fifth role of parents is by the way parents must play an active role in the learning of autistic children at home and parents will certainly be given training or discussion forums to understand their children more deeply.

Abstract

Physical activity is one part of occupational therapy, especially in the activity of the kneejoint, where the knee joint is an important part of the movement of the human body. Themovement of the knee joint gets weaker as people age, this is experienced by the elderly. Elderlyare elderly people who often experience knee joints, in addition to the age factor of the kneejoint, it is also influenced by post-accidents, strokes and so on which results in weak knee jointfunction. To restore and function the knee joint, a tool that controls the function of the knee jointis needed, namely a robot manipulator. This robot is a tool that works automatically the same asthe function of the leg which can move the knee joint without any effort from human power butcan be controlled via an Android-based smartphone. This robot manipulator tool works andfunctions with instructions via Android in the form of button control facilities that are onAndroid and also uses voice commands to control the robot. This manipulator robot consists ofseveral main supporting components, namely the controller, manipulator, power supply unit,sensor and actutor. This Robot Manipulator provides a speed setting mode on the tool, so that theuser can adjust the speed of the tool according to its capacity. Also, the movement of this toolcan provide convenience and reduce the risk of weak knee joints. Testing and implementingrobot manipulators for the elderly certainly needs to be analyzed for their achievements byanalyzing using the Wilcoxon Rank test, where this test applies the pretest, namely the initialsafeguards before the use of robots and posttest, namely the action after using the manipulatorrobot.

Abstract

Public transportation is a major part of developing an advanced and modern city. Progress in public transportation is needed to be planned and realized to deal with the development of the city together with population and economic growth. The use of the Trans Metro Pekanbaru bus transportation is not in line with the development and progress of the City of Pekanbaru, which wants to be a smart city, where the role of the Internet of Things (IoT) needs to be realized in building smart cities and currently the use of the Trans Metro Pekanbaru bus in Pekanbaru is still becoming a problem. it needs to be resolved like the Trans Metro Pekanbaru bus lane which still uses a shared lane which causes congestion and lack of good trafic regulations. Trans Metro Pekanbaru bus transportation is still weak in terms of arrival and departure times. Trans metro Pekanbaru has not yet been integrated in a system that can be monitored centrally through the application of an application system based on the Global Positioning System (GPS). To overcome this problem, it is necessary to have the Trans Metro Pekanbaru bus transportation in the form of a prototype line follower robot which is a solution to overcome this problem. The purpose of this research is to make the line follower robot as a trans-metro silmulation bus for Pekanbaru become a smart city that is able to serve and facilitate the public's need for public transportation towards the industrial revolution 4.0. Line follower robot is a robot that works by following a line in the form of a road such as a traf ic lane, where the robot works using photodiode sensors and ultrasonic sensors as proximity sensors so that it stops automatically at every stop or place where passengers rise and fall. Line follower robots are automatically controlled so programming code and fuzzy algorithms are needed. Line follower robots are also equipped with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) to determine passenger conditions.

Abstract

Based on the Padang City Government meeting with the Padang Higher Education LPPM on November 11, 2021 with the theme of accelerating regional development through the development of thematic villages in the city of Padang, it is planned to provide training and assistance to the community of the slopes of the Tabing Banda Gadang Village. Where at this time there is no website as a tool for knowledge of historical information and historical documentation as well as a promotional tool to increase tourist destinations in the city of Padang. The method in this service is to make observations which include interviews with partners, make preparations by making website applications, carry out implementation by providing training on building websites, and evaluating the results of this service by giving questionnaires to determine the level of satisfaction from the website. . The purpose of this service activity is to help the Padang city government and its people in documenting the history of this Japanese hole as well as a promotional medium to improve tourist destinations through the provision of this website training.

Abstract

Gugus Kendali Mutu (GKM) Program Studi Psikologi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Andalas (UNAND) memiliki peran penting dalam mengawasi mutu pembelajaran. Namun, terdapat kendala dalam pelaksanaan monitoring dan evaluasi pembelajaran, seperti minimnya akses data absensi dosen dan mahasiswa, kurangnya pemahaman tim GKM, dan belum optimalnya survei kualitas pelayanan. Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem monitoring dan evaluasi (monev) pembelajaran berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) dan survei online dengan nama E-ASQI (Elektronic-Academic Service Quality Insurance) untuk mengatasi permasalahan GKM Prodi Psikologi FK UNAND dan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengembangan sistem dan survei. Sistem monev pembelajaran dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan sistem informasi pendidikan yang sudah ada di website Prodi. Survei kualitas pelayanan dan pemahaman visi misi prodi dirancang berbasis website. Hasil dan Pembahasan pengembangan sistem monev pembelajaran berbasis TIK dan survei online diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan GKM Prodi Psikologi FK UNAND dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Sistem monev pembelajaran akan memudahkan GKM dalam mengakses data absensi dosen dan mahasiswa, memantau proses pembelajaran, dan mengevaluasi kinerja dosen. Survei online akan menyediakan data kualitas pelayanan dan pemahaman visi misi prodi yang real time dan akurat dengan menggunakan aplikasi website. Kesimpulan sistem monev pembelajaran berbasis TIK dan survei online merupakan solusi yang efektif untuk mengatasi permasalahan GKM Prodi Psikologi FK UNAND dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang baik.

Abstract

The role of caregivers in providing care to individuals with special needs, such as the elderly or patients with chronic conditions, is often accompanied by complex psychological challenges. To support caregiver well-being, measuring mutuality and family resilience is important as an indicator of emotional relationships and family adaptability. This study aims to design a web-based application to measure mutuality and family resilience using a user-centered design (UCD) approach, which focuses on user needs and experiences. The research method includes four main stages: (1) needs analysis through interviews with caregivers and psychologists to understand measurement needs, (2) designing an application prototype with UCD principles, (3) evaluating the design using the usability testing method, and (4) initial testing of the reliability and validity of the psychological measurements applied in the application. This platform is equipped with a psychometric-based questionnaire feature, easy-to-understand measurement result reports, and recommendations for further support. The results of the study indicate that this application is effective in providing measurement tools that are easy to use by caregivers. Usability testing resulted in a user satisfaction score of 85%, indicating an intuitive and appropriate interface. In addition, initial testing of the instrument's validity showed good consistency in measuring mutuality and family resilience. In conclusion, this application can be a useful tool in supporting caregiver well-being, with the potential for wider application in family or community contexts. Further research is needed to develop additional features and increase the scale of implementation.
