Abstract

The rapid development of education in the world requires the existence of a very tight competition that is supported by thedevelopment of advanced technology and information, so to be able to follow these developments require good human resources.the low interest of students in learning chemistry about covalent bonds and the lack of understanding of students in integratingthe nation character builders' value in the chemistry lesson about the covalent bonds. It is expected that learning withmolymood media can help learn mastery in comprehending covalent bond in class X TKJ SMK Negeri 13 Bandung.Chemical learning about covalent bonding requires better teacher explanation because there is much complexity inmemorizing. The method used in this research is Class Action Research. It is planned that in two cycles from the results ofthe research, the data obtained, in cycle I, the percentage of student activity is 80%, while in the second cycle to 95%. Fromthe response result, students love to learn by using molymood 90%, help understanding of subject matter 83,34%, and stillneed teacher explanation 86,67%. Constraints that are sometimes encountered include technical obstacles how to usemolymood in accordance with the child's creation and precision stringing. Completeness of chemistry study about covalentbond, there is an increase in post test value of cycle II by 27% from cycle I which is above KKM.

Abstract

The purpose of education is to create a generation that has competencies that can compete both on a national and internationalscale. Accordingly, mathematics education in schools should provide the competence that enables students to align theirabilities with other students in the international world. To be like that, the student must have the ability to understand theEnglish language which is typical for the field of study of mathematics. In order for them to access the correct information soas to avoid mistakes and misunderstandings. For that learning mathematics in schools should provide an introduction to theterms of English in mathematics so that students become familiar with the use of different foreign terms. But in fact, the useof English in learning mathematics in schools is generally still very limited. This is due to a lack of understanding ofbilingualism in mathematics learning, so teaching bilingual math to teachers can be a fear of its own. This paper exploreshow bilingual math learning is, about how it is prepared, and how it is executed. Then the teachers no longer feel afraid totry it.

Abstract

The development of technology and information that is always updated all the time has shifted the role of teachers as a sourceof information and its central position. Students today can gain knowledge from diverse sources, one of them from the internetmedia. The phenomenon that rampant among students is the use of social networks that often make students addicted andignore their main task as a student of learning activities. The condition is a challenge for teachers to be able to take advantageof advances in technology and information to attract interest in learning, encourage student activity and creativity. One of thesteps that have been taken to address the challenge can be found in a classroom action research conducted by the authorhimself entitled "Improving Understanding of Students of SMP Negeri 1 Pagaden Class VIII with Kahoot gamification".

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of mathematical connections of students with the discovery of learning barriers (obstacles to learning) specifically obstacle epistemological learning on statistical materials. One way that can be done to overcome the barriers to learning is by making the design of teaching materials. The purpose of this study is to describe learning barriers that occur between them and connect it with the design of mathematical-based learning with discovery learning method on statistical materials. This research is qualitative. Technique of writing data is done through test and interview. Subjects in this study were 34 students of class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan. This research is didactic design or Didactical Design Research (DDR) which consists of three stages, namely: daily analysis, metapedadtive analysis, and retrospective analysis. This research is only up to the stage of expert validation. The results of this study indicate limited learning barriers. Material related to statistics. Validation of teaching materials is done by three experts, namely two lecturers of Unpad FM Mathematics and a mathematics teacher of SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan. Based on the validation results, the amount of 90.67% is obtained. Therefore, the teaching materials can be stopped very valid and can be used in the learning process.
