This study aims to determine the use of the internet by agricultural instructors to improve the performance of rice agricultural instructors in Angata District, South Konawe Regency. This research was conducted in Angata District in July-August 2021 and used quantitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that the relationship between the use of the internet and the performance improvement of agricultural instructors in Angata sub-district has a significant relationship which is calculated using the Spearman Rank formula. This can be seen from the high use of the internet by agricultural extension workers which is calculated using the interval analysis formula, while the performance of agricultural instructors is in the good category which is calculated based on the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 91 of 2013 concerning Guidelines for Evaluation of Agricultural Extension Performance. Based on the results of the Spearman rank analysis, the elements of internet use consisting of Situation Analysis, Improving Knowledge, Problem Awareness, Decision Making, and Motivation and Skills have a significant relationship with the performance of agricultural instructors in Angata sub-district.

This study aims: 1) Knowing the role of farmer groups on the capacity of rice farmers (2) Knowing the capacity of farmers in lowland rice farming (3) Knowing the relationship between farmer groups and farmer capacity. rice fields in Lamomea Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency. This research was conducted from April to 2021. The sampling technique used was the census method, and the data analysis used was the class interval formula and Spearman Rank Correlation. The results of the farmer group research in Lamomea Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency have been carried out quite well, whereas a learning class, as a vehicle for cooperation and production units, there are 23 (95.83%) respondents. The capacity of Rice Paddy Farmers in Lamomea Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency has been carried out sufficiently, which is possible from the technical ability, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and ability that has been carried out sufficiently by farmers in this research area as many as 23 (95), 8%) respondents. The role of farmer groups on the capacity of lowland rice farmers there is a very close relationship between the role of farmer groups and the capacity of rice farmers with a correlation coefficient value of 0.919 with a significant level of 0.000. Where the increase in both the role of farmer groups will increase the capacity of lowland rice farmers.

Peran Penyuluh dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Petani pada Usahatani Tanaman Lada di Desa Bisikori Kecamatan Moramo Salsa Aulia; Musadar Mapasomba; Salahuddin salahuddin

This study aims to (1) determine the role of extension workers in increasing the motivation of farmers in pepper farming, (2) find out how the motivation of farmers in pepper farming. (3) How is the relationship between the role of agricultural extension workers and the level of motivation of farmers in pepper farming in Bisikori Village, Moramo District. The sample in this study was determined by simple random sampling. Analysis of the data used in this study is a descriptive method which is processed using the Sperman Rank Correlation formula. The results of this study indicate that (1) The role of extension workers in Bisikori Village, Moramo District is still less active, extension services have not carried out all tasks or indicators of the role of agricultural extension workers optimally, so that the farming community has not fully felt the role of PPL. (2) The level of motivation of farmers in farming pepper plants in Bisikori Village, Moramo District is in the low category, this is due to pests and diseases that have not been resolved until now, the role of agricultural extension workers who are not active and the price of pepper plants is decreasing every year. (3) The role of agricultural extension workers is significantly related to the motivation level of pepper plants. The results showed that the role of agricultural extension workers was significantly related to the motivation level of pepper farmers in Bisikori Village, Moramo District, South Konawe Regency. Extension workers who are not active will affect the level of motivation of farmers in farming, feel that they really need the presence of agricultural fans to support their farming activities.

Strategi Pemasaran Minyak Nilam di Desa Wonua Sangia Kecamatan Landono Kabupaten Konawe Selatan Yusran Yusran

Salah satu yang menjadi fokus perhatian dalam pengelolaan produk minyak nilam di Kabupaten Konawe Selatan yaitu mewujudkan pemasaran produk minyak nilam yang efektif dan efisien. Permasalahan dalam pemasaran minyak nilam yang dihadapi oleh pedagang minyak nilam di Desa Wonua Sangia yaitu terjadi fluktuasi harga minyak nilam setiap bulan yang sangat signifikan, hal ini di duga akibat banyaknya pelaku pasar baik di tingkat provinsi maupun nasional yang membuat kesepakatan harga yang merugikan pedagang di tingkat desa sehingga pedagang di tingkat desa tidak mampu memprediksi harga jual minyak nilam. Disamping itu, banyaknya pedagang minyak nilam di tingkat desa dan provinsi juga di duga mempengaruhi fluktuasi harga minyak nilam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1). Untuk Menganalisis faktor internal dan eksternal pemasaran minyak nilam, 2). Untuk Menganalisis strategi pemasaran minyak nilam, Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Wonua Sangia, Kecamatan Landono, Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pedagang minyak nilam di Desa Wonua Sangia Kecamatan Landono Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Teknik analisis data untuk menjawab tujuan 1 : Menganalisis kondisi lingkungan internal dan eksternal menggunakan matriks IFAS dan EFAS (Fred R David, 2002) serta matriks IE (Fred R David, 2009) sedangkan untuk menjawab tujuan 2 : Menganalisis strategi pemasaran minyak nilam menggunakan analisis SWOT (Rangkuti, F. 2013). Nilai total IFAS pemasaran produk minyak nilam sebesar 3,05 yang terdiri dari skor kekuatan sebesar 1,90 dengan skor kekuatan tertinggi 0,52 yaitu produksi minyak nilam yang cukup tinggi sedangkan nilai total EFAS pemasaran produk minyak nilam sebesar 3,06 yang terdiri dari skor peluang sebesar 1,93 dengan skor peluang tertinggi 0,60 yaitu Pangsa pasar produk minyak nilam yang cukup besar . Strategi pemasaran produk minyak nilam meliputi : Strategi S-O, 1) Membangun kemitraan antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah kabupaten konawe selatan dalam perluasan jaringan pemasaran produk minyak nilam, 2) Peningkatan promosi produk minyak nilam dengan membuat media pemasaran minyak nilam online, Strategi S-T, 1) Pembuatan peraturan daerah (Perda) Penetapan harga pokok pembelian (HPP) minyak nilam ditingkat pedagang desa dan halangan terhadap masuknya produk minyak nilam dari luar, 2) Peningkatan produk turunan minyak nilam, Strategi W-O, 1) Meningkatkan kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan pemasaran minyak nilam, 2) Menyediakan dan mempermudah akses kredit oleh perbankan kepada pedagang minyak nilam, Strategi W-T, 1) Pendampingan dan pengawasan oleh pemerintah dalam proses distribusi pemasaran minyak nilam, 2) Pembuatan asosiasi pedagang minyak nilam yang memiliki legalitas.

Kopra merupakan salah satu produk kelapa yang banyak diusahakan oleh masyarakat yang dimanah kopra menjadi salah satu bahan utama untuk pembuatan minyak goreng. Untuk satu 1 kilo gram kopra dibutuhkan 4 buah kelapa sedang. Pengolahan kopra yang dilakukan di Desa Laea Kecamatan Poleang Selatan Kabupaten Bombana masih dilakukan secara tradisional dimanah kopra dikupas, dibelah lalu dijemur dibawa terik sinar matahari. Efektifitas pada pengolahan kopra putih dari segi tenaga kerja, waktu dan produksi sangat mempengaruhi putaran produksi dalam setiap tahunnya. Penelitian ini pertujuan untuk mengetahui sebarapa besar pendapatan dan nilai tingkat efektifitas pada pengolahan kopra putih di Desa Laea Kecamatan Poleang Selatan Kabupaten Bombana. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Laea Kecamatan Poleang Selatan Kabupaten Bombana pada bulan April sampai dengan bulan November 2021 dengan alasan Desa Laea merupakan daerah penghasil kopra terbesar di Kecamatan Poleang Selatan. Populasi dan sampel mengunakan metode sampling jenuh sebanyak 8 Responden. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukan pendapatan pengolahan kopra putih sebesar Rp.5.241.752 per produksi sengan jumlah kelapa sebanyak 20.675 buah dengan biaya produksi sebesar Rp.56.933.248. Nilai tingkat efektifitas pada tenaga kerja pengupasan kelapa dikategorikan efektif, pembelahan buah kelapa dikategorikan efektif dan penyungkilan daging kelapa dikategorikan cukup efektif. Nilai tingkat efektifitas pada waktu produksi dikategorkan tidak efektif. Nilai tingkat efektifitas produksi dikategorikan sangat efektif.

The background of the research was the use of farmer information sources in increasing farmers' knowledge about spinach farming. This study aims to determine the usefulness of farmers' information sources and the level of expertise in spinach farming. As well as seeing the relationship between the use of information sources and the level of knowledge of farmers about spinach farming. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with 45 farmers as respondents. Rank spearman is used data analysis in this study. The results showed that the use of information sources was categorized as moderate. The information sources that farmers mostly used were fellow farmers, and the least came from agricultural extension workers. The level of knowledge of farmers in spinach farming in spinach farming is in the medium category. There is a significant relationship between the use of information sources and the level of knowledge of farmers in Walay Village, Abuki District, Konawe Regency.

Kinerja Penyuluh Pertanian dalam Melaksanakan Kegiatan Penyuluhan Hortikultura di Kecamatan Wua-Wua Kota Kendari Wayan Widiana; Dasmin Sidu; Sitti Nur Isnian

This study aims to: (1) determine the performance of agricultural extension workers in carrying out horticultural extension activities, (2) determine the income earned by horticultural farmers. This research was conducted in Wua-Wua District, Kendari City, which was carried out from February to July 2021 with a total of 22 samples determined by proportional random sampling using the Slovin formula. The data in this study were analyzed quantitatively. The data from the research show that (1) the performance of agricultural extension workers in Wua-Wua District, Kendari City still needs to be improved, especially at the stage of implementing agricultural extension (2) the income earned by horticultural farmers in Wua-Wua District, Kendari City, which is IDR 2.598.000/ planting season, for kale, mustard greens, and spinach, the income is below the average salary of Kendari City's UMR.

This study aims to: (1) determine the characteristics of farmers; (2) Knowing how much income is obtained from vegetable farming and (3) Knowing the relationship between farmer characteristics and farmers' income. This research was conducted from January to March 2021. The sampling technique used was the census method, and the data analysis used was descriptive, income analysis, and Spearman Rank Correlation. The results of this study indicate that the level of education of farmers is dominated by farmers who are junior high school graduates (SMP), the largest vegetable farming experience is more than 10 years, the highest land area is 0.5-2 Ha and family dependents of vegetable farmers are included in the family category. small with dependents above 2-3 people. Based on the Spearman Rank Correlation analysis, the relationship between farmer characteristics and income of land area shows a significant category, meaning that there is a relationship between land area and income of vegetable farmers. Meanwhile, for the category of education level, experience and family responsibilities are included in the insignificant or unrelated category.
