This article discusses abaout the elements of factual narrative text at Sosok section in Kompas newspaper 2018. The results of the study of factual narrative text in sosok section is expected to be used as a source of teaching material in writing factual narrative text at school. The subject of this research is sosok section in Kompas daily newspaper 2018. The objects of this research are intrinsic elements of narrative text including background, series of events and characterizations in the sosok section. This study aims to describe background, series of events and characterizations and the results will be used to compile teaching materials in learning to write inspirational story. The method used was a qualitative research method. To collect data, the technique used was document study. The data were analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of analysis, the results show that social background of the figure, educational background of the figure, and the natural environment in the rubric were very diverse. Social background of the figures in this rubric are from academia, artists, and common people. Their educational backgrounds also vary, from a professor to a high school graduate. The age of figures also vary, from 22 to 70 years old. Even the genders are various. The natural environment in which the figures are located is various, starting from urban areas, rural areas and even inland and disaster-prone areas. The series of events in the sosok section are interwoven chronologically and based on cause-effect.Keywords : factual narrative, sosok section.

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interteksualitas dan dekonstruksi novel “Lambung Mangkurat”, dan dua hipogramnya, “Hikayat Banjar” dan “Tutur Candi”. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan analisis intertekstual model Julia Kristeva dan dekonstruksi Jaqcues Derrida. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ada sejumlah perbedaan pada bagian jalan cerita dan penokohan. Pada novel tidak ada hal-hal gaib, berbeda dengan dalam kedua hipogram. Tokoh Lambung Mangkurat dan Junjung Buih dalam novel diberi atribut serba sempurna sementara di dalam novel muncul dengan segala kekurangan dan kelemahan sebagaiman manusia biasa yang memiliki ambisi, kelemahan, dan ketakutana yang di dalam dua hipogram tidak ada. Di dalam novel Lambung Mangkurat diceritakan berhasil menjadi Raja Nagara Dipa berkat bantuan Gajah Mada, juga dicerita terjadi pemberontakan Kerajaan Kuripan yang di dua hipogram tidak. Perbedaan ini terjadi sebagai upaya pengarang untuk menafsirkan ulang dan memaknai kembali cerita Lambung Mangkurat dalam perspektif yang lebih sesuai dengan zamannya.Kata kunci: dekonstruksi, intertekstual, Lambung MangkuratThis paper aims to find out the intertextuality and deconstruction of the novel "Lambung Mangkurat", and its two hypograms, "Hikayat Banjar" and "Tutur Candi". The study was conducted using intertextual analysis of Julia Kristeva's model and Jaqcues Derrida's deconstruction. The analysis shows that there are a number of differences in the part of storyline and characterizations. In the novel, there are no supernatural things, different from the two hipograms. The characters of Lambung Mangkurat and Junjung Buih in the novel are represented as perfect characters while in the novel they appear with all the weaknesses and limitations as ordinary human beings who have ambition, weakness, and fear which do not exist in the two hypograms. In the novel, Lambung Mangkurat succeeded in becoming Raja Nagara Dipa with the help of Gajah Mada, there was also a story of rebellion of Kingdom of Kuripan which does not appear in two hypograms. This difference exists as the author's attempt to reinterpret and reconstrue the story of Lambung Mangkurat in a perspective that is more appropriate to the era.Keywords: deconstructive, intertextual, Lambung Mangkurat

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan nilai religius yang terepresentasikan dalam novel “Titip Rindu ke Tanah Suci”. Penelitian dilakukan menggunkan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian yaitu novel. Fokus penelitian meliputi nilai-nilai religiusitas yang berhubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, manusia lain dan alam dan relevansi nilai religius dalam pembelajaran karya sastra di sekolah. Kedua aspek fokus tersebut diharapkan mampu melengkapi nilai-nilai religius yang saat ini banyak ditinggalkan oleh masyarakat maupun generasi muda. Penelitian diharapkan mampu mengingatkan seluruh masyarakat untuk selalu mewujudkan nilai-nilai religius dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Nilai religius yang ditemukan dalam kajian ini meliputi rasa sabar menjadi manusia, memiliki akhlak yang mulia, dan menjadi manusia yang jujur. Kata kunci: religius, sabar, mulia, dan jujurAbstract:This article describes the religious values represented in the novel "Titip Rindu ke Tanah Suci". The research was conducted using a qualitative approach. The data source in this research was novel. The focus of research includes 1. Religious values related to human with God, other humans and nature, 2. Relevance of religious values in learning literary works in schools. These two aspects of focus are expected to be able to complete the religious values that are currently neglected by society and younger generation. This research is expected to remind society to always implement religious values in their daily life. Penelitian novel “Kontrak untuk RI 2†karya Tri Budhi Sastrio bertujuan menggali filosofi literasi dalam teks sastra. Novel ini bercerita seorang lelaki sebagai pembunuh bayaran sedang menjalankan sebuah misi rahasia, yaitu membunuh calon wakil presiden dengan upah miliaran. Tokoh bernama Santika berelasi dengan Hui Ping menjalankan misi dari Si Penghubung. Keduanya merupakan tokoh luar biasa, dipercaya mampu menjalankan misi rahasia. Pertemuan tidak saja menjalankan tugas, melainkan berbagi ilmu pengetahuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik studi pustaka dan analisis dilakukan untuk analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel banyak menyisipkan filosofi literasi berbingkai pengetahuan dan kecakapan hidup. Filosofi-filosofi literasi tersebut terimplementasi dalam literasi baca-tulis, literasi numerasi, literasi sains, literasi digital, dan literasi finansial. Hakikat dari literasi, buah pengamalan menyelesaikan persoalan hidup guna menemukan falsafah hidup.Katakunci: filosofi; literasi; sastraAbstract:This research aims to explore the philosophy of literacy in literary texts. This novel tells the story of a man as an assassin who was carrying out a secret mission to kill a vice president candidate for billions of dollars. A character named Santika worked together with Hui Ping on a mission from a contact. Both were extraordinary figures, trusted as capable to carry out a secret mission. They met not only to carry out their missions but also to share knowledge. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. Literature study and analysis were carried out for data analysis. The result of the research shows that the novel involves a lot of philosophy of literacy as a frame of knowledge and life skills. These literacy philosophies are implemented in literacy, numeracy, scientific literacy, digital literacy, and financial literacy. The essence of literacy, its enactment solves problems to find life philosophy.Keywords: philosophy; literacy; literature

This article discusses the effectiveness of a contextual approach to learning writing negotiating texts. The research was conducted to find out the influence and the result of learning to write negotiation text with contextual approach. The research method used is quasi experiment with One group Pretest-Posttest Design. The selected population is class X SMK Negeri 1 Bojongpicung with a sample of students of class X ATPH 1 amounted to 28 people. Data were collected using test, questionnaire, and observation techniques with test sheet, questionnaire, and observation. The results of the observation sheet indicate the active learners learn when using a contextual approach. From the test results, it is known that the average value of the initial test is 66.89 while the mean score of the final test is 87.64. After comparing the mean of the two test results, calculations were performed using the t-Test. The calculation result with t-test shows the tcount price is bigger than ttable price. The tcount price is 17.00, while the ttable price at db 27 for the 0.05 level of trust is 2.05. Thus the proposed hypothesis can be accepted, ie the existence of a significant influence in the use of contextual approaches to the results of learning to write negotiation text. This shows the learning of writing negotiated text by applying a better contextual approach than without applying a contextual approach. Keywords: effectiveness, contextual, negotiation.

This article aims to describe university students' responses toward Kahoot! application in Indonesian subject. Kahoot! application is commonly played by gamers in their smartphone. However, the writer used this application as a medium of teaching Bahasa Indonesia, more specifically during the quiz. The quiz was conducted once in the session of the subtopic Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan (EYD). The research method used in this study was descriptive method, with questionnaire as the research instrument. The results show that the students were more motivated, more enthusiastic and able to manage their time to think throughout the quiz. There was no tense atmosphere, and all students seemed happy and enthusiastic in answering each question. The Students and the lecturer were able to utilize their smartphones for something they never imagined before, that was, to learn by utilizing Kahoot! application.Keywords: students' responses, Kahoot! application, Indonesian subject

Artikel ini membahas penggunaan strategi inkuiri dalam pembelajaran menganalisis nilai religius biografi Buya Hamka. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian 31 siswa kelas XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Cibeber. Pengumpulan data menggunakan format observasi, rubrik penilaian, dan hasil analisis nilia-nilai religius dalam biografi Buya Hamka. Proses dan hasil pembelajaran siswa di analisis dengan teknik kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa proses dan hasil belajar siswa dapat di tingkatkan melalui strategi inkuiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menganalisis nilai-nilai religius dalam biografi Buya Hamka dengan menggunakan strategi inkuiri sudah baik.This article discusses the use of inquiry strategies in learning to analyze the religious value of Buya Hamka's biography. The method used in this research was descriptive method. Research subjects were 31 students of class XI Science 4 SMA Negeri 1 Cibeber. Data collection used observation format, assessment rubric, and the result of analysis of religious values in the biography of Buya Hamka. The process and results of student learning were analyzed with quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results show that the process and student learning outcomes can be improved through inquiry strategies. The results also show that the ability of students to analyze religious values in the biography of Buya Hamka by using an inquiry strategy was good.Kata kunci: Inkuiri, Biografi, Religius, Buya Hamka

Peristiwa tutur satu arah antara pelatih dengan pemain (player) pada pelatihan drum corps di Sabda Kinnara Drum Corps UNNES merupakan hal yang mendasari dilakukannya penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan metode simak dan metode cakap. Data utama penelitian berupa hasil sadapan terhadap tuturan dua pelatih Sabda Kinnara Drum Corps UNNES divisi Colour Guard (CG) dengan data pendukung berupa hasil wawancara dengan pelatih divisi CG. Objek penelitian ini adalah tindak tutur direktif pelatih drum corps divisi Colour Guard (CG). Dari penelitian ini diperoleh 21 bentuk tindak tutur direktif yang digunakan pelatih SKDCU divisi CG, di antaranya 8 tindak tutur memerintah, 3 tindak tutur memohon, 6 tindak tutur menyarankan, dan 4 tindak tutur menantang.Katakunci: direktif, tindak tutur Abstract:The one-way speech from the coach to the players at the drum corps training at Sabda Kinnara Drum Corps UNNES was the basis of the research. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. The research data were collected using recording and interview. The main data of the research are the results of recording of utterances used by two coaches in Sabda Kinnara Drum Corps UNNES Color Guard (CG) division with supporting data from interviews with the CG division coaches. The object of this research is directive speech act used by coach of Color Guard (CG) drum corps. This research reveals that there are 21 forms of directive speech acts used by the CG division SKDCU coaches, including 8 commanding speech acts, 3 pleading speech acts, 6 suggesting speech acts, and 4 challenging speech acts.Keywords: directive, speech act

Artikel ini membahas fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi dalam acara “I’m Possible” Merry Riana Metro TV. Tindak tutur ilokusi merupakan sebuah tuturan selain berfungsi untuk menyatakan atau menginformasikan sesuatu, dapat juga dipergunakan untuk melakukan sesuatu. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan sumber data acara gelar wicara di televisi. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah acara “I’m Possible” Merry Riana Metro TV dengan objek fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu metode simak dan catat, dengan teknik lanjutan teknik Simak Bebas Cakap (SBC) dan teknik catat. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah “human instrument” dengan alat bantu kartu data. Metode analisis data menggunakan padan refensial, dengan teknik dasar berupa teknik Pilah Unsur Penentu (PUP) dan teknik lanjut berupa teknik Hubung Banding Menyamakan (HBS). Temuan hasil penelitian meliputi: (1) fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi dalam acara I’m Possible Merry Riana Metro TV ditemukan 50 data yaitu: kompetitif 15 data, konvivial 13 data, kolaboratif 22 data, dan konflikatif 0 data.Katakunci: pragmatik; tindak tutur, ilokusiAbstract This article discusses the function of illocutionary speech acts in the “I'm Possible” Merry Riana Metro TV program. The illocutionary speech act is an utterance that not only serves to state or informs something, it can also be used to do something. This study uses a data source in the form of a talk show on television. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research is the program I'm Possible Merry Riana Metro TV with the object of the illocutionary speech act function. The data collection method is the method of observing and recording with the advanced technique of Listening Free Cakap (SBC) and note-taking techniques. The instrument used is a human instrument with an instrument assist data card. The method of data analysis used referential equivalents, with the basic technique being the Determining Element Sorting (PUP) technique and the advanced technique being the Equalizing Comparison Appeal (HBS) technique. The findings of the research include: (1) the function of illocutionary speech acts in the “I'm Possible” Merry Riana Metro TV program found 50 data, namely: competitive 15 data, convivial 13 data, collaborative 22 data, and conflictive 0 data.Keywords: pragmatics; speech act, illocutionary

This article discusses the improvement of the effectiveness of learning to analyze the short story by using discovery learning model. In addition, also discussed the increased interest of students in learning Research conducted using Classroom Action Research methods as much as three cycles. Data collection was done by observation technique, questionnaire, and cycle test. Target of this research is student of class VII-F of Negeri 3 Mande Junior High School year teaching 2016-2017 as many as 33 student. The results showed an increase; (1) II began not too nervous, and on the third cycle of the class is conducive; (2) student interest in literary learning increased in cycle I active students only a small part the effectiveness of learning increases in the first cycle of class is still groomed, the cycle, in cycle II half of active students and in cycle III almost all students active; (3) result of student learning in analyzing character and characterization and background of short story increase in cycle I with average value of student equal to 32,32, at cycle II reach 64,73, and at cycle III reach 85,15. It is concluded that learning using discovery learning model can improve the effectiveness of learning, can increase student’s interest in learning, and can improve student’s ability in analyzing character and character and characteristic and background in the short story in class VII Negeri 3 Mande Junior High School.Keywords: short story, and discovery learning model
