Abstract

This paper is motivated by the lack of students' interest in learning to write poetry and lack of interest in literature. In addition, teaching materials based on local wisdom are still rarely used in learning Indonesian. In connection with this, this paper will describe the utilization of the skills and abilities of students in writing poetry. The method used in the research is descriptive. The research technique used is content analysis, interviews, and tests. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the average value of kakawihan's poetry writing ability in class VII of SMP N 3 Cianjur is 77.9 is in a good category with 76-85 mastery interval. The highest score of students in writing kakawihan poetry is 87 obtained by one student (4%), and the lowest value is 73 obtained by 5 students  (20%). Thus, kakawihan kaulinan barudak can be used as teaching material in learning Indonesian language based on local wisdom.Keywords: writing poetry, kakawihan kaulinan barudak

Abstract

Artikel ini akan mengungkap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penuruan penggunaan bahasa Jawa di kalangan siswa Taman Kanak-kanak dan Kelompok Bermain di Kelurahan Beduri Kecamatan Ponorogo Kabupaten Ponorogo. Data dalam artikel diperoleh dari hasil observasi yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur atau path analysis. Variabel endogen dalam artikel adalah pergeseran penggunaan bahasa Jawa . Variabel multibahasa keluarga sebagai variabel moderat. Adapun variabel sekolah, status sosial ekonomi keluarga, dan migrasi sebagai variabel eksogen (independent). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) sekolah, status sosial ekonomi, migrasi, dan multibahasa keluarga memiliki pengaruh langsung yang berarti terhadap pergeseran penggunaan bahasa Jawa; (2) ada pengaruh tidak langsung yang berarti dari sekolah, status sosial ekonomi, migrasi, dan multi bahasa keluarga terhadap pergeseran penggunaan bahasa Jawa; (3) sekolah, status sosial ekonomi, migrasi, dan multibahasa keluarga memiliki pengaruh total yang berarti terhadap pergeseran penggunaan bahasa Jawa.Kata kunci: bahasa Jawa, bahasa daerah, pergeseran bahasa This article will reveal factors that influence the decline in the use of Javanese language among Kindergarten and Play Group students in Beduri Village, Ponorogo District, Ponorogo Regency. The data in the article were obtained from observations which were then analyzed using path analysis. An endogenous variable in the article is a shift in the use of Javanese. Family multilingual variables as moderate variables. Meanwhile, the school, family socioeconomic status, and migration variables as exogenous (independent) variables. The results show that (1) school, socioeconomic status, migration, and family multilingual have a significant direct effect on the shift  of Javanese language use; (2) there is a significant indirect effect from school, socioeconomic status, migration, and multi-language family on the shift of  Javanese language use; (3) school, socioeconomic status, migration, and family multilingual have a significant total influence on the shift of Javanese language use.Keywords: Javanese, local language, language shift

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas  efektivitas model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PBL) dalam PJJ terhadap pemahaman materi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada yaitu kuantitatif dengan menggunakan angket kuesioner dan skala likert. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa di berbagai daerah sebanyak 50 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 15 responden berada pada interval penilaian 79,9-95 (sangat efektif), 29 responden pada interval penilaian 64,7-79,8 (efektif), dan 6 responden pada interval penilaian 49,5-64,6 (cukup efektif). Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh Project Based Learning efektif digunakan yaitu berada pada interval penilaian 64,7-95. Dengan demikiaan, dapat dikatakan efektivitas model pembelajaran PBL (Project Based Learning) dalam PJJ erhadap pemahaman materi siswa ini masuk dalam kategori efektif.Katakunci: PJJ, Project Based Learning, materi.Abstract:This article discusses the effectiveness of the PBL (Project Based Learning) learning model in distance learning on students' understanding of the material. The research method used in this research was quantitative by using questionnaire and likert scale. The research subjects were 50 students in various regions. The result of research shows that 15 respondents were at the interval 79,9-95 (very effective), 29 respondents were at the interval 64,7-79,8 (effective), and 6 respondents were at the interval 49,5-64,6 (moderately effective). It shows that Project-Based Learning was effective to use that was in the assessment interval of 64,7-95. Abstract

Artikel ini akan membandingkan unsur pembangun cerita pendek dan filem pendek “Pulang Tanpa Alamat” yang ditulis oleh Abidah El Khalieqy dan film pendeknya disutradarai oleh Riyanto Tan Ageraha. Cerita pendek terbit pada 2010 di Jawa Pos sedangkan versi film pendek rilis pada 2015. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pustaka, teknik simak, dan teknik catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tokoh Remo lebih bijak di dalam  film dibandingkan dalam teks cerita pendek; jumlah tokoh kawan lama Gotap dan Segap dalam cerita pendek berjumlah empat orang, sedangkan dalam film pendek hanya satu; terdapat penambahan adegan di luar teks cerita pendek yaitu peristiwa penguburan Remo, latar tempat dalam cerita pendek dan film pendek memiliki kesamaan; latar waktu memiliki perbedaan, dalam teks cerita pendek terjadi  malam dan pagi hari, sedangkan dalam film malam hari.Katakunci: bandingan; cerita pendek; film pendek  Abstract:This article will compare the elements of a short story “Pulang Tanpa Alamat” written by Abidah El Khalieqy and its short film directed by Riyanto Tan Ageraha. The short story was published in "Jawa Pos" in 2010, while the short film version was released in 2015. The method used descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used library research, listening, and note-taking techniques. The results show that in the film, the character Remo is wiser than in the short story; the number of Gotap and Segap’s old friends in the short story is four, while in the short film there is only one; there is an additional scene outside the text in the short story, that is, the burial of Remo; the setting of the place in the short story and the short film has similarities; the time setting has a difference, in the short story it occurs at night and in the morning, while in the film it occurs at night.Keywords: comparison; short story; short film

Abstract

This article describes the application of the mimetic approach in learning the religious value of the novel "When Cinta Bertasbih 1" The subject of the research is the students of grade XI SMA Pasundan 1 Cianjur. Research using a classroom action model, done with two cycles. Data collection using observation format, assessment rubric, and questionnaire. The results showed the application of mimetic approach can improve the process and the student learning outcomes. Before the first cycle starts, pre-test first test. Prasiklus analysis results obtained the highest results 83 Dan lowest 47 with an average of 64% and the percentage completeness of 49% this means that learning has not been as expected. After the action in cycle I obtained the highest 90 and the lowest 53 with values with an average value of 65% and 60% completion percentage, this also means the learning outcomes have not been as expected, but it is better when compared with the results of prasiklus evaluation. Akhirtnya, in cycle II obtained the highest result 93 and lowest 53 with a value with an average value of 80 and 80% completion percentage means learning outcomes though still not in accordance with the expected, but it is better when compared with the results of the evaluation cycle I. With Thus, the use of a mimetic approach tends to improve learning outcomes. Keywords: Mimetic approach, religious value, novel when love glorifies

Abstract

This article will describe the effectiveness of the problem based learning approach in improving exposition text writing skills. The method used in the study was an experiment with the design Randomize Pretest-Posttest Control Group with test techniques and questionnaires. The result shows that the average value of the experimental class pretetst 59.97, and posttest 85.76, while the average value of pretest in the control class 58.91, and posttest 67.53. To see the increase in each class, an N-gain test is performed. Based on the test results it was found that in the experimental class there were 18 students who had high writing skills, 12 students with moderate writing skills, and 4 students who had low writing skills, while in the control class there were 3 students who had high writing skills, 16 students with abilities moderate writing, and 15 students who have low writing skills. Based on this, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning approach is very effectively used in learning activities in exposition text writing. Keywords: Problem Based Learning, writing,  exposition text

Abstract

Tulisan ini akan mendeskripsikan penggunaan blended learning dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan analisis data menggunakan presentase. Subjek penelitian mahasiswa angkatan 2018 sebanyak 142 responden. Datapenelitian diambil dengan  menggunakan kuesioner dan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan blended learning menjadikan mahasiswa dapat belajar lebih mandiri. Hasil setiap indikator sebagai berikut. 1) ketidaktergantungan terhadap orang lain sebesar 80,12%; 2) memiliki kepercayaan diri sebesar 74,97%; 3) berperilaku disiplin sebesar 78,43%; 4) memiliki rasa tanggung jawab sebesar 77,61%; 5) berperilaku berdasarkan inisiatif sendiri sebesar 79,87%; dan 6) melakukan kontrol diri sebesar 76,37%.  Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa blended learning dapat menjadi alternatif pilihan model pembelajaran yang diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa.Kata kunci: blended, Bahasa Indonesia, mandiriThis paper will describe the use of blended learning to improve student learning independence. The research method used was descriptive quantitative, with data analysis using percentages. The research subjects were 142 respondents of the class of 2018. Data were taken using questionnaire and Likert scale. The results show that the use of blended learning made students able to learn more independently. The results of each indicator are as follows. 1) dependence 80.12%; 2) confidence 74.97%; 3) discipline 78.43%; 4) a sense of responsibility 77.61%; 5) behaving based on their own  initiative 79.87%; and 6) self-control 76.37%. The results indicate that blended learning can be an alternative learning model  applied to improve students’ learning independence.Keywords: blended, Indonesian, independent

Abstract

Artikel ini akan  mendeskripsikan prinsip kerja sama yang dicetuskan oleh Grice dalam novel “Raumanen” karya Marianne Katoppo serta pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama yang dilakukan oleh tokoh-tokoh dalam novel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama Grice yang dilakukan oleh tokoh-tokoh dalam novel. Pematuhan terhadap prinsip kerja sama menandakan bahwa para tokoh memahami konteks pertuturan sehingga mereka memberikan kontribusi yang baik pada saat proses komunikasi berlangsung. Sementara itu, pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama merupakan hal yang paling banyak dilakukan oleh para tokoh. Hal ini disebabkan ada maksud dan tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Peneliti menemukan maksud-maksud pelanggaran tersebut, yaitu ingin memberi peringatan, meminta penjelasan, menciptakan humor, memberi penjelasan, sopan santun, menyembunyikan suatu hal, mengungkapkan suatu hal, dan mencari-cari alasan.Katakunci: kerja sama, maksim,  novel, pematuhan, pelanggaran  Abstract:This study aims to describe the cooperative principles by Grice in novel Raumanen by Marianne Katoppo and violations of the cooperative principle performed by the characters in the novel. The research method used qualitative. The results of the study showed that there were implementation and violations of the Grice cooperative principle performed by the characters in the novel. Following cooperative principle indicated that the characters understood the context of utterance so they gave appropriate contribution during the communication. Meanwhile, the violation of cooperative principles was the most commonly performed by the characters. This was because there were intention and objective to achieve. Abstract

Artikel ini akan memaparkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis teks prosedur berbasis kearifan lokal, batik Cianjur,  menggunakan media Powtoon. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dengan bentuk one-group pretest-posttest design. Sampel yang terpilih yaitu  kelas XI OTKP 2 SMK Negeri 1 Cipanas. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah lembar tes, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar menulis teks prosedur siswa mengalami peningkatan, dilihat dari pemerolehan nilai rata-rata tes awal sebesar  66, sedangkan nilai rata-rata dari tes akhir sebesar 87,83. Nilai signifikasi memperoleh  nilai Asymp. Sig.0,000 < 0,05 maka  Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Powtoon dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur  siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Cipanas. Selain itu, siswa umumnya mengatakan senang belajar dengan menggunakan Powtoon.Katakunci: menulis; Powtoon; teks prosedurAbstract:This article will describe the improvement of students’ learning outcomes in writing procedural texts, that is local wisdom-based, Batik Cianjur, using Powtoon media. The method used was experimental in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The selected sample was class XI OTKP 2 SMK Negeri 1 Cipanas. The instruments used were tests, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that students' learning outcomes of writing procedural texts increased, seen from the average score of the initial test was 66, while the average value of the final test was 87.83. The significance value obtains the Asymp value. Sig.0,000 < 0.05 meaning Ha was accepted, so it can be concluded that the use of Powtoon can improve the ability to write procedural texts for class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Cipanas. Abstract

This article discusses the significance of differences in the ability to write text of complex procedures before and after using the demonstration method and then to observe the interest of student learning in grade XI SMA Pasundan 1 Cianjur. The method used is a quasi-experimental study involving one study group by giving pretest as a preliminary test and postes as a final test to see the difference of learning result then use questionnaire to see interest in learning. Processing results of pretest and postes value, calculated using the help of SPSS application, from wilcoxon test results obtained 0.000 significance meaning less than 0.05 indicates the difference of learning outcomes before and after applied method of demonstration then student learning interest showed good response with 100% answer want to relearn with this method. It was concluded that the application of demosntration method in writing text of complex procedure in class XI of Pasundan 1 Cianjur High School can give significant difference of learning result and student's learning interest showed good attitude.Keywords: demonstration methods, complex text procedures.
