Abstract

Focus of this study is the effect of quality of work life factor (compensation, participation, supervision, career development, physical environment, workplace integration) in commitment organization. This research is a quantitative study using regretion and sample in this research is using cluster sampling.This research is using SPSS 16.0 for windows showed that the factor of quality of work life (compensation, participation, supervision, career development, physical environment, workplace integration) have positive effort with employee organizational commitment. The result data SPSS showed that the compensation has dominant factor coefficients t 3,691 and physical environment doesn 't have effect to employee organizational commitment with coefficients t 1.9'6. Based on the results research, company should give training appropriate to the competence and give opportunity employee to socialize in their physical environment.

Abstract

Research is aimed to present the influence of the application of kaizen against the employee performance of tourism and culture gerbangkertosusila. Population in this research all of its culture and tourism dept. gerbangkertosusila 73 people, which amounted to and techniques of the sample in this research using a sample of the census. The, technique of collecting data obtained by the spread of kuisioner. The technique of linear regression analysis used f double by test and test it t as a test of an hypothesis.The results of tests indicating that the implementation of kaizen impact on the performance of employees of tourism and culture gerbangkertosusila. It showed that the better the application of kaizen to be implemented on culture and tourism dept. gerbangkertosusila will be able to improve the performance of tourism and culture gerbangkertosusila. The greater attention to the needs of company employees and the company will get reciprocal appropriate, namely productivity work yet.

Abstract

“Program Keluarga Harapan” is one of the poverty reduction program that provides funds to help very poor families with specific criteria and requires that participants meet the obligations in the field of education and health. The implementation of the Program Keluarga Harapan in Semampir still found some problems such as participants who do not meet the criteria of PKH. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the administrative accountability of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) in subdistrict Semampir Surabaya. This research is a descriptive qualitative research through observation, interview and documentation. Based on the research results can be known that the implementation of the Program Keluarga Harapan in district Semampir has fulfill administrative accountability, but on criteria and mechanisms indicators in the administrative accountability are still not fulfilling the administrative accountability, and there is the factor that supports the implementation of the Program Keluarga Harapan, namely clarity of procedures, and there are external parties which supervise the implementation of the Program Keluarga Harapan.

Abstract

This study is designed to examine the influence of job satisfaction on deviant behavior and Organizational Citizenship Behaviors.This research analyzed the relationship among the variables so that it belongs to explanatory research. It was conducted in 6 institutions of Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) with 33 branch offices in East Java. The population was 202 employees which 134 of them were taken for the sample of this study. The sample taken was clustered random sampling. The statistic method used to test the hypothesis is regression analysis.The result of this research proves that job satisfaction has significantly negative influences deviant behavior, job satisfaction has significantly positive influences Organizational Citizenship Behaviors, and deviant behavior has not significantly influences Organizational Citizenship Behaviors.

Abstract

This study discusses the problem of Criminal Theft Mode by forcibly deprivation which becomes the "favorite" of the theft perpetrators in launching the action. Every person's behavior patterns including thieves reflect an intent or purpose, as well as his choice to commit a theft crime by forcibly seizing. This study was analyzed using descriptive analysis, which has been interviewed with a number of members of Surabaya Polrestabes police unit and some victims of theft by forcibly depriving them. The results show that (1) The modus operandi of this seizure becomes the "favorites" of the perpetrators to launch their crimes. This is because the implementation of the action is considered more efficient and easy. The threat mode as well as the rapid movements that make the victim unaware of the eventual theft will make the perpetrator immediately run away. (2) The modus operandi of criminal theft by force on the street is done by the perpetrator stalking the victim and if against it then it is scratched with a sharp weapon. Curus mode is often especially for teenagers who use vehicles or luxury goods that perpetrators do more than 1 person then forcibly take the property of the victim.

Abstract

This study discusses the independent and effectiveness by the Indonesian Banking Architecture (API) to the national banking system and before the establishment of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) oversight. The important role of national banks to the economy of Indonesia will impact on if something happens to the national banking system when its also had a significant effect on the national economy such as the crisis case in 1998 up to 2002 and 2008 before. It encourages the Government to create special institutions for which the duty to financial services supervision including banking sector. Through Law No. 21 of 2011 the government established the Financial Services Authority (FSA) is expected to be able to work independently and effectively perform their functions. This study officially made a compares The Act No. 21 of 2011 about Indonesian Banking Architecture (API) in supervision of national banks terms. Furthermore, this study reveal several factors inhibiting and supporting surveillance on Indonesian Banking Architecture (API) also. Hence, this research led the conclusion that the FSA can not be fully independent and effective as it should because there are still other agencies involved in the supervision of national banks and due to number of sectors that have to be monitored by FSA, in fact this kind of situation made the institution become very superior. Untill, the agency less focus oversee the national banking sector occur.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the positioning strategy of Hang Tuah University Surabaya in the minds of customers, by analyzing the slogan "Blue Ocean Campus". This research used a quantitative and qualitative approach, data used are primary and secondary data, primary data by distributing questionnaires and interviews, while secondary data was taken from the website of the University studied. Research shows Hang tuah University positioning based on the importance criteria the majority of respondents expressed less valuable, results also show a comparison Slogan Hang Tuah University with other universities. Attributes are used as the basis of positioning Hang Tuah university "Blue Ocean Campus" has not been considered important by informants when compared with the attributes that are used by other universities.

Abstract

Student achievement is influenced by many factors, both internal factors and external factors. One of the internal factors that contribute to the achievement of learning is learning motivation factor, while contributing to the achievement of the Learning Achievement of external factors such as infrastructure learning and teaching capabilities (competencies). This study aimed to determine: (1) Whether or not the effect of learning motivation on learning achievement, (2) Whether or not the effect of Learning Infrastructure on learning achievement, (3) Whether or not the effect of the ability of teachers to teach to the learning achievement, (4) Whether or not the effect between learning motivation, learning infrastructure and the ability of teachers to teach to the learning achievement. The results showed a significant effect between motivation to learn, Learning Infrastructure, and the ability of teachers to teach Learning Achievement. It is based on the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained a value of 0.734 This means that 73.4% variation in the presentation of learning (Y) can be explained by the motivation to learn (X1), learning infrastructure (X2), and the ability of teachers to teach (X3) along together. According results suggested teachers should constantly strive to motivate and encourage students to learn actively, and is expected to increase student learning achievement, school parties should take into considerations in determining school policies in order to improve learning achievement and provides learning facilities to support learning activities . And for the students themselves should further foster motivation to learn so as to improve learning achievement.

Abstract

This study is a survey on workshop of Ahass 12658 Crystan Motor Surabaya customers. This study took the title "The Effect of Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction in AHASS 12658 Crystan Motor"The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the service quality that consists of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible dimension towards customer satisfaction of Workshop AHASS 12658 Crystan Motor Surabaya in partially and simultaneously. The population in this study was the customers of Workshop AHASS 12658 Crystan Motor Surabaya that consisting of 70 respondents.Based on the research and data analysis by using multiple linear regression it was showed that: (1) simultaneously the variable of services quality which consist of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles are have effect on customer satisfaction, (2) partially the variable of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles are have effects on customer satisfaction.The implications of the conclusion above that in order to increase customer satisfaction, management Crystan Motor Workshop AHASS 12658 can further improve the quality of service that provided in order to met the expectations of the customers. This is done so that the customers who come will feel satisfied for the services that provided which can causes the loyalty for customers to come again to the workshop of Ahass 12658 Crystan Motor.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the management of investigation in the settlement of case files from investigators to prosecutors. This study uses statute approach (statute approach) and conceptual approach (conceptual approach). Data analysis techniques in this study using descriptive analysis that describes the legal preposition or non-legal events. The result of the research shows that the management of investigation in the settlement of the case file of the Police Investigator to the Prosecutor begins with the investigation process of alleged criminal act based on the report or complaint submitted by the society, which then from the investigation result is increased into investigation in order to find the criminal incident. The result of the investigation shall be submitted to the Public Prosecutor for the determination of the suitability of the Case File may proceed to the pre prosecution process for the creation of the indictment against the suspect. If the Case File is deemed unfeasible to proceed based on the analysis of the Public Prosecutor, then the Case File shall be returned to the investigator to be fulfilled. In the process of investigation, the benchmark management of the investigation in the handling of criminal offenses is the Criminal Procedure Code. each case file from Police Investigator to Prosecutor is often constrained by the discretion of every Police and Prosecutor institution so that it can slow down the fulfillment of the elements of the offense that it wants to suspect to the Suspects or to find any criminal incidents.
