Focus and Scope The focus of this journal is the dissemination of information related to nursing research and evidence-based study on urban nursing issues in low-middle-income countries. It covers particular issues on education, practice, and research. The journal also considers the presentation of sound knowledge related to strengthening healthcare system that includes health workforce, and health policy. Letters and commentaries of our published articles are welcome. All submitted contributions will undergo a double blind peer-review process according to standardized criteria. <![CDATA[Hipertension or high blood pressure is a health problem that is found in the community.The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is influence of soaiking therapy in warm water and warm water with ginger toward decrease in blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The method used in this research is quasy experimental pre-post test. The technique of sampling with the purposive sampling. The simple in this research was 15 people. Analysis of the test data by using paired sample T-test. The result of statistical tests is obtained that the amount of 0,000 (0,005). Conclusion there is the influence in therapeutic soak of warm water and warm water ginger toward a decrease in blood pressure in hypertensive patient in Telaga biru clinics.]]>

<![CDATA[Pengaruh Gerakan Shalat Wajib Diikuti Gerakan Shalat Sunnah Terhadap Penurunan Tekanan Darah Pada Lansia. Hipertensi adalah penyakit yang banyak terjadi dikalangan masyarakat. Gerakan shalat bermanfaat bagi kesehatan manusia termasuk penurunan tekanan darah. Tujuan penelitian : Mengetahui Pengaruh Gerakan Shalat Wajib diikuti Gerakan Shalat Sunnah Terhadap Penurunan Tekanan Darah Lansia di Desa Lauwonu Kecamatan Tilango. Desain penelitian menggunakan Quasy eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest postest.Sampel 30 responden, pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling menggunakan uji paired T-tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tekanan darah sebelum dilakukan perlakuan shalat wajib didapat nilai sig 0,04 (p<0,05), dan tekanan darah setelah dilakukan perlakuan gerakan shalat sunnah diikuti wajib didapat nilai sig 0,01 (p<0,05). Responden paling banyak melakukan gerakan yang tuma’ninah. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat Pengaruh Gerakan Shalat Wajib diikuti Gerakan Shalat Sunnah Terhadap Penurunan Tekanan Darah Lansia di Desa Lauwonu Kecamatan Tilango.]]>

<![CDATA[The implementation of nursing care documentation is determined by behavioral approach This behavioral approach is used in providing nursing care by considering the aspect of human behavior, e.i. the internal factors owned by the nurse, including knowledge and attitudes. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of the nurses with nurses performance in nursing care documentation in Dr. MM. Dunda Hospital, Limboto, Gorontalo Regency. The study design used was Cross - Sectional with sample of 87 respondents. In Cross-Sectional Research, the researchers conducted observation on nursing care documentation in the medical record room of Dr. MM Dunda Hospital, Limboto. As for the knowledge and the attitudes of the nurses were measured only once in the treatment room of Dr. MM Dunda Hospital, Limboto. The result showed that respondents with less knowledge level was 51.7%, the nureses which have good attitude showed 52.9% and the nurses who have less performance were 50.6%. In addition, this study also shows that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitude of the nurses in documenting nursing care with the performance of the nurses. Based on the results of this study, the Nurses Department is expected to hold a refreshing treatment in nursing care documentation. Also to conduct trainings and workshops on nursing documentation standards and to increase the knowledge of the nurses in nursing documentation.]]>

<![CDATA[Pendampingan orang tua dalam pembelajaran anak adalah upaya orang tua untuk menemani, memberikan bantuan dalam mengawasi masalah anak dalam belajar, memberikan dorongan, motivasi, dukungan dan memberikan fasilitas kepada anak agar semangat dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Pola Asuh Orang Tua Terhadap Pendampingan Pembelajaran Anak Usia Prasekolah Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Di PAUD Menara Ilmu Limboto. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel diambil dengan teknik probability sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 44 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan Chi Square dengan tingkat kemaknaan (α=0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukan pola asuh orang tua kategori kurang sebanyak 19 responden (43,2%) dengan pendampingan pembelajaran kategori optimal sebanyak 16 responden (36,4%). Hasil uji statistik didapatkan p=0,000 (p<0,05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan pola asuh orang tua terhadap pendampingan pembelajaran anak usia prasekolah pada masa pandemi covid-19.]]>

<![CDATA[Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune inflammation disorder or an autoimmune response where a person's immune system can be disrupted and dropped which causes the destruction of joint organs. One chronic or long-term joint disease is rheumatoid arthritis. This research aims to determine the effect of warm lemongrass compresses on reducing rheumatoid arthritis pain in the elderly. The design uses Quasy-experimental pretest and posttest involving the control and intervention groups. Respondents were 20 people. The experimental group was given warm lemongrass compresses once a day for 20 minutes. Whereas control group was not given intervention. The results of this study indicate a decrease in pain in the intervention group from the results of the paired T test obtained a value of P = 0.000 (α <0.05). It was concluded that there was a significant effect on the application of warm lemongrass compresses to reduce rheumatoid arthritis pain in the elderly. So this research is expected to help the community in dealing with rheumatoid arthritis pain using warm lemongrass compresses as traditional medicine.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the relationship to men's interest in using Contraceptive of Male Operative Medical. The design of this study used an observational research with cross-sectional approach. Sampling was done by simple random sampling technique, sample numbered 97 people. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate with chi-square test. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between knowledge (p = 0,01), fear (p 0,00), wife support (p = 0,00) influencing to men interest in using Male Operative Medical contraception tool. The researcher suggests that it can be used as input data about contraceptive of Male Operative Medical to further improve in providing new information, counseling and Services about male contraceptive to the community so that it can provide optimal benefits by minimizing side effects or complaints.]]>

<![CDATA[Music therapy can reduce pain by distrcting a person’sconcern on the pain itself. Deep breathing relaxation technique is believed to be able to stimulate body to release apoiod endogen which is endorphin and encphalin that are useful for decreasing the pain. Music therapy and deep breathing relaxation techinique can affect the decrease of the postoperative wound pain fracture. The objective of this researchin general is to determine the in fluence of music therapy and deep breathing relaxation to decreasepost operative pain fracture in surgery room. The sample of this research consists of16 respondents. Ststistically, paired t test value is significant that is sig (2 tailed) is 0,000.since the value of sig is (2 tailed)<α (0,05) then it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore in another words there is in the influence of music therapy and deep breathing relaxation to decrease the pain.]]>

<![CDATA[Supervisi adalah proses kemudahan menggunakan sumber - sumber yang diperlukan staf keperawatan untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugasnya.Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui hubungan supervisi kepala ruangan dengan kinerja perawat dalam pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan. Desain penelitian adalah survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling. Sampel jumlah seluruh perawat yang berada di ruang rawat inap yang berjumlah 48 orang. Analisis data pada penelitian ini mengguakan uji Chi Square diketahui nilai chi square dengan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Responden yang berjumlah 48 orang sebahagian besar memiliki supervisi kepala ruangan baik dengan jumlah 37 responden (77,1%) dan responden dengan kinerja baik berjumlah 37 responden (77,1%). Dengan Nilair value=0.00 <a=0.05, menunjukkan adanya hubungan supervisi kepala ruangan terhadap kinerja perawat dalam pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan di ruang rawat inap di RSUD Otanaha. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan kepala ruangan sebagai manajer harus dapat menjamin pelayanan yang diberikan oleh perawat pelaksana dalam memberikan pelayanan yang aman dan mementingkan kenyamanan pasien.]]>

<![CDATA[Hipertensi pada lansia merupakan proses perubahan yang diakibatkan karena berkurangnya sebagian besar cadangan sistem fisiologis dan meningkatnya kerentangan terhadap berbagai penyakit dan kematian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kesiapan keluarga merawat lansia yang menderita penyakit hipertensi di Puskesmas Tabongo Kabupaten Gorontalo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian sebanyak 150 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga jumlah sampel sebanyak 63 responden. Hasil penelitian didapatkan dukungan keluarga kategori baik 41 (65.1%) dan kesiapan keluarga kategori baik 43 (68.3%). Hasi penelitian dari uji analisis p=0,010 sehingga bahwa ada hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kesiapan keluarga merawat lansia yang menderita penyakit hipertensi di puskesmas tabongo kabupaten gorontalo. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi informasi kesehatan bagi masyarakat agar lebih memperhatikan tekanan darah lansia tetap terkontrol dan terhindar dari terjadinya komplikasi.]]>

<![CDATA[Gadget is an English term that means a small electronic device with various special functions. The psychosocial development of children at the preschool stage is the basis of a person's psychosocial condition as an adult. The objective of research was to determine The correlation of The Use of Gadgets on Psychosocial Development in Preschool Children at TK Negeri Pembina Limboto. Sampling technique used Total Sampling with samples are 100 respondents.the design used analytic descriptive with cross sectional study. Based on the result obtained nilai p value = 0,003 means small then α = 0,05 (Chi square test). Concluded there is correlation of the use of gadgets on psychosocial development in preschool children at TK Negeri Pembina Limboto, Limboto District. Based on the result above the researcher suggests that kindergartens be able to introduce traditional games and improve communication and interaction between teacher and student.]]>
