Abstract

The existence of waste at this time was still a problem that hit almost all regions in Indonesia. Keliling Danau Districts in 2019 has produces 33,311 m3 of waste per year with a population of 22,207 people. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants behavior of waste management in elementary school students at Kerinci Regency, 2021. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and Availability of Facilities with Waste Management in State Elementary School 52 of Koto Dian students, Kerinci Regency. This research is quantitative with a cross sectional research design. Sampling using random sampling technique with a total sample of 44 students consisted of class III, IV, V to class VI. Data was collected by distributed of questionnaires. Analysis used chi-square test. The results of this study indicate that 18 of 44 (40.9%) respondents with poor behavior of waste management and 26 (59.1%) respondents with good behavior waste management. From the results of the bivariate test, it was found that Knowledge has a PR value = 3.33 CI = 1.73-6.39 and a p-value of 0.001 indicates that there is a relationship between knowledge and behavior of waste management. Attitude has a value of PR = 3.75 CI = 1.62-8.68 and a p-value of 0.001 indicates that there was a relationship between attitude and behavior of waste management and there was not relationship between availability of facilities and behavior of waste management with a p-value of 0.222. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes with behavior waste management. And the availability of facilities has no relationship between behavior of waste management in elementary school students.

Abstract

The provision of health services is one way to meet the needs and demands of the community for health, in the process including health financing. There are six financing patterns applied, one of which is out of pocket financing and Social Health Insurance Administration Body. The ability to buy health services depends on the readiness of the family to finance the household, so socioeconomic status influences the use of health financing patterns. This study uses quantitative methods with a cross-sectional research design. The population is the head of the family who seeks treatment at Abdul Manap Hospital, with as many as 89 respondents. Data collection using a questionnaire and data analysis using chi-square. Based on the analysis, the variables that have a relationship with the pattern of Social Health Insurance Administration Body financing are income (p-value 0.000), occupation (p-value 0.003), number of family members (0.028), and asset ownership (0.000). Meanwhile, the one that does not have a relationship is education (0.276). The conclusion of this study is that income, occupation, the number of family members, and asset ownership have a relationship with the use of financing patterns, while education has no effect.

Abstract

Toddlerhood is a golden era in children's growth and development because it is a period of real growth that influences and determines children's subsequent development. Through the Toddler Family Development (Bina Keluarga Balita/BKB) movement. Every family would be able to enhance their talents, particularly in caring for their toddlers and pre-school-aged children, to promote optimum child growth and development. Health cadres play a significant role in efforts to strengthen the community's capacity to reach optimal health status independently. This study seeks to identify the elements that influence the involvement of cadres in providing family care services for toddlers in the city of Jambi. This study used a quantitative, cross-sectional methodology. This study's population consisted of 450 cadres from the Toddler Family Development (Bina Keluarga Balita/BKB) program. This study's sample consisted of 81 the Toddler Family Development (Bina Keluarga Balita/BKB) cadres selected using Probability Sampling with Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. The chi-square test demonstrates that there is a correlation between the variables attitude (p-value = 0.001) and motivation (p-value = 0.002). Moreover, there is no correlation between knowledge and BKB cadres' roles (p-value = 0.180). Attitude and motivation variables are substantially associated with the role of the Toddler Family Development (Bina Keluarga Balita/BKB) Cadres in Jambi City. The Office of Population Control and Family Planning will hold online discussions. Hence, cadres are always aware of the most recent developments in activities of the Toddler Family Development (Bina Keluarga Balita/BKB). The Office of Population Control and Family Planning will monitor activities even when not on the ground. The Office of Population Control and Family Planning will reproduce books on the Toddler Family Development (Bina Keluarga Balita/BKB) so cadres can gain more knowledge and not rely solely on training experience.

Abstract

Poor waste management can result in chemical exposure and health issues. With a %age of 42.63 %, Kerinci district is the district in Jambi province with the largest number of river trash disposals, while Penawar Village is the village with the highest number of river waste disposals. This study aims to investigate waste management training effectiveness on community behaviour in household waste to reduce the waste number into the river in Penawar village, Kerinci Regency. This research is a quasi-experimental study employing a pretest-posttest design group with a research sample of 46 houses and simple random sampling. The results showed that before the intervention, the majority of housewives' knowledge was lacking (34.8%), the majority attitude was negative (69.6%) and the majority action was poor (71.7%). After the implementation of the Household Waste Management Training, the majority of housewives' knowledge was good (89.1%), positive attitude (100%) and majority action was good (73.9%). Compared before intervention. The application of the training proved to be effective in increasing household waste management behavior with (p) < 0.05. Waste management training effectively enhances the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of housewives in managing home trash to lower the rate of garbage disposal into the river in Penawar Village, Kerinci Regency.

Abstract

The coverage of JKN PBI participation is higher than that of non-PBI participants, but the utilization of health services by JKN PBI participants in Indonesia is still relatively low. This study aims to determine what factors are related to the utilization of health services for PBI group National Health Insurance (JKN) participants in Jambi City. This study is a quantitative study using a cross sectional approach. The sample amounted to 106 samples with a sampling technique using accidental sampling. The independent variables in this study were education, occupation, knowledge, attitudes, perceptions of health conditions, affordability and information, while the dependent variable was the utilization of health services. Data were obtained by filling out questionnaires by respondents. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate (chi-square) tests. The results of this study indicate that most of the 61.3% of respondents do not use health services. Based on statistical tests in this study indicate that factors related to the utilization of health services are knowledge (0.000), attitudes (0.003), perception of health conditions (0.012), and information (0.000). And there is no relationship between education (0.147), occupation (0.295) and affordability (0.787) with the utilization of health services for participants of the National Health Insurance (JKN) PBI group. There is a relationship between the variables of knowledge, attitudes, perceptions of health conditions and information with the utilization of health services for the participants of the National Health Insurance for the PBI Group in Jambi City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of management practices on improving service quality through the integrated core practice of EFQM and Six Sigma Public Health Centers in Jambi Province. This research is a quantitative research using a cross sectional design approach through two stages of research. The research data was obtained using a questionnaire from a sample of 560 civil servant employees in 24 health centers that were randomly selected and analyzed by second order using Smart-PLS 3.0. The results of the study found that the implementation of management practices and core practices had a fairly good average by employees and each had a direct effect on the service quality of the Public Health Center. The core practice is able to partially mediate between management practices and the quality of Public Health Center services. However, in practice, not all Public Health Center have implemented quality management practices.

Abstract

Sexual intercouse during pregnancy is not just an ordinary but useful activity as a pelvic floor preparation for labor. Health care efforts undertaken to alter the public view of sexual activity during pregnancy is to provide careful and precise service The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence sexual relations in pregnant women Trimester III at Puskesmas Batua Kota Makassar Year 2018. Data analysis was performed by Chi-square test. This research use Analytic Survey design with cross sectional Study approach. The sample size in this research is 23 people. Sampling was done using Purposive sampling. This research was conducted at Puskesmas Batua Kota Makassar Year 2018. From result of statistical analysis concluded there is significant influence between pregnant woman's anxiety with sexual relationship where (value p = 0,021), there is significant correlation between physical condition of pregnant woman with intercourse where (p value = 0,006) and there is significant relation between knowledge of pregnant women with intercourse where (p value = 0,005). Therefore, the puskesmas is expected to add information to the public, especially pregnant women about sexual relations of pregnant women trimester III and for pregnant women do not think negatively about pregnancy.

Abstract

Good logistic management can have a big impact on service quality, therefore, logistic management needs to be monitored to know the weakness and strengths in its operatoonal implementation so that corrective can be taken for the implementation of logistic management which is not optimal. This studi aims to determine the implementation process of Non-Medical logistic management at the Syekh Yusuf Regional Public Hospital Gowa which focuses on the procurement process, storagr process, process of distribution, usage process, maintenance process, and process of deletion. This type of research used qualitative which aims to determine more deeply about the management of non-medical logistic at the Syekh Yusuf Hospital of Gowa. By conducting in-depth interviews and observations to informans.The research result from the procurement process indicators had not been categorized good, even though in essence the procurement of goods had used direct procurement and tender process. The strorage process had been categorized good. The distribution process had not been categorized as good because if the goods suddenly arrived when needed, the user had to wait because of logistic procurement once in a while a year. Then in the process of maintaining the goods has been effective. Management logistic on the elimination process can be categorized as good. Syekh Yusuf Hospital Gowa is expected to I,prove the procurement process at least every 6 month.

Abstract

Pregnant women are a group that is vulnerable to Covid-19 due to physiological changes that result in changes in response to Covid-19 infection. Pregnant women with Covid-19 are at risk for preeclampsia, stillbirth, premature birth, and maternal death. The magnitude of the impact, it is necessary to have a Covid-19 vaccine to reduce the incidence and reduce the severity caused by Covid-19, especially in pregnant women. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, perception, and disease history with the willingness of pregnant women to take the Covid-19 vaccine. This research is a descriptive analytic with a cross sectional study design. The population is all pregnant women in the second and third trimesters who are in the Work Area of ​​the Tomalehu Health Center, West Seram Regency, as many as 41 respondents. The sample is pregnant women in the second and third trimesters who are in the Working Area of ​​the Tomalehu Health Center as many as 37 respondents with purposive sampling. Processing and analysis using Chi Square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between perception (p = 0.000) and the willingness of pregnant women to vaccinate against Covid-19. Researchers suggest that health workers and the government should increase the socialization of giving vaccinations to pregnant women. vaccination coverage can be increased

Abstract

ABSTRACK Background: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), hypertension is a condition where the increase in systolic blood is above the normal limit, which is more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure is more than 90 mmHg. Hypertension can increase the workload of the heart and arteries which if it continues can cause damage to the heart and blood vessels. Swedish massage therapy is a complementary therapy that is believed to be able to provide a relaxation response, beside that it can also reduce blood pressure. Research Purpose: The purpose of this research was to obtain an overview of nursing care in the implementation of Swedish Massage to elderly hypertension sufferers at the Simpang Periuk Public Health Center, Lubuklinggau City. The Research Method: The research method was descriptive with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were two elderly people in the work area of Simpang Periuk Public Health Center, Lubuklinggau City. The Evaluation Results: The evaluation results that was obtained from the management of a decrease in blood pressure after the Swedish Massage intervention was done to the hypertensive patients with both elderly subjects with the changes in blood pressure of 10 mmHg. The conclusion: The conclusion from the research was that the implementation of Swedish Massage is an intervention that can be done to reduce the symptoms that arise due to high blood pressure. This technique is one of the non-pharmacological techniques that can be used to minimize high blood pressure. Suggestions: Suggestions were expected to increase knowledge and can be done independently to lower blood pressure.Keywords: Hypertension, Blood Pressure, Swedish Massage
