Abstract

Community empowerment activities in the Covid-19 pandemic era were conducted by students through Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Society 5.0 or KKN 78 which was conducted without field landing. This activity aims to increase students' empathy towards the villagers with various programs to develop potential and solve problems in the place. Group 38 was stationed in Planjan Village, Saptosari Sub-District, Gunungkidul, D.I. Yogyakarta. The programs carried out by the group 38 are KKN Village Potential and KKN Pocketbook. The resulting program is (1) ebook and video  development of planjan village potential related to gejog lesung arts, development of Omang Lake as a tourist attraction and empowerment of copper craftsmen; (2) ebooks and videos of family medicinal plants (TOGA). Each member of the group also produces individual programs titled KKN Counseling, KKN Field of Science and KKN Entrepreneurship. The devotion program is expected to encourage student participation in serving others and assist in the development of Planjan Village.

Abstract

Desa Giring is one of the many villages in Paliyan District, Gunungkidul which has a lot of potentials that can be developed further. The village potential includes traditional culture, agricultural and livestock products, as well as tourist objects. In its development efforts, it is necessary to introduce this potential to the wider community in order to attract tourists, thereby increasing the activities of the tourism sector. In addition, considering the potential for natural disasters that may occur in Desa Giring, an educational effort to the public about natural disaster prevention and precaution measures are deemed necessary by making pocketbooks as a medium of information. Data collection in the form of Desa Giring profiles, village potentials, and ways of dealing with natural disasters was carried out by means of literature studies through journals, articles, and the internet. The results of the literature study in the form of information findings and theoretical studies are then compiled in the form of videos and e-books. The output of the first work program, namely the e-book and video of Potensi Desa Giring which discusses the potentials in the village, while the output of the second work program, namely e-books and videos of the Buku Saku Desa Tanggap dan Sigap Bencana, which discusses prevention and precaution measures of natural disasters that have the potential to occur in Desa Giring. Hopefully,  the two outputs of the programs can be used in future village development activities and give insight into how to do natural disaster prevention and precaution.

Abstract

Tanaman jagung memiliki hasil panen yang paling besar di Desa Pengasih, pada sektor peternakan, pengolah limbah ternak berupa urin dan kotorannya untuk dijadikan pestisida dan biogas. Secara khusus tujuan penyuluhan ini adalah untuk melakukan pengembangan tanaman jagung menjadi lebih baik dengan memanfaatkan semua unsur yang ada pada tanaman jagung dan upaya agar produksi dan penjualan dapat dilaksanakan secara maksimal, serta pemanfaatan limbah hewan ternak sebagai barang produktif yang dapat menunjang pertanian dan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat Desa Pengasih. Segala bentuk observasi yang dikerjakan untuk memperoleh data yang diperlukan ialah dengan menggunakan metode atau cara observasi secara daring atau online. Dengan memanfaatkan potensi desa dalam bidang pertanian, kelompok mengolah tanaman jagung menjadi beberapa olahan. Olahan-olahan tersebut terdiri dari beras jagung dan emping jagung yang terbuat dari biji jagung, pupuk kompos yang terbuat dari tongkol jagung, serta pakan ternak dari tanaman jagung.

Abstract

Community service is expected to help the rural community or desa (village) where the service is located to develop better according to the potential that they have. The approach of our program is using online observation method and the data were obtained through internet. There are potential factors that should be maintained and preserved by Srikayangan Village in order to able to compete globally. Shallot is the most prospective commodity that the village should develop. The more the village is able to develop this commodity, the higher economic value will obtain. In order to do that, innovation required. Our program suggest to increase its economic value, shallots need to be develop into a product, shallot paste that can be used for basic seasoning or main seasoning. This innovation offers easiness and convenience to its consumer because they don’t have to peel, wash, nor blend shallots, they only have to buy the product and it will help them to cook faster. Marketing is one of the challenges that Srikayangan Village faces. We also offer assistance on how to market the product using Whatsapp Business because we believe digital media will be so much help. Whatsapp Business allows the seller to easily interact with their consumer. We expect that using Whatsapp Business will help Srikayangan Village to increase economic value of shallot. To be conclude, we hope that this program can help Srikayangan Village to earn more income by selling processed shallot products and using Whatsapp Business as a digital marketing medium.

Abstract

Sukoreno village, Sentolo District of Kulon Progo Recency, have a great potential both in the form of tourism derived from natural attraction, also from its handicrafts, and its regional delicacy specialties. To support Sukoreno village maximizing its potential resources, we need develop marketing strategy through branding program. The approach of digital marketing that we’ve propose on our suggestion is Facebook Ads. With Facebook there are possibilities to promote Sukoreno Village. One mechanism that we can approach is implementing advertising (in Facebook) to promote Tempe Besengek, which known as a traditional dish of Kulon Progo, and how this product is different from the usual tempe in other places. The branding program through Facebook Ads hopefully will increase the regional revenue and expected to boost the image of Sukoreno village to become countryside tourist destination

Abstract

Desa Tayuban, kecamatan Panjatan, kabupaten Kulonprogo, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta merupakan desa kesenian yang memiliki kebudayaan yang sangat kental. Letak dan geografis desa Tayuban memiliki potensi pertanian. Hasil pertanian tersebut kemudian diolah menjadi makanan seperti jamur tiram, apem, dawet, peyek bayam,tempe kedelai, abon lele, wajik lapis, gudheg, jenang,wingko merah, roti mlati, criping, molen dan peyek welut. Olahan makanan ini diproduksi oleh usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM) yang dilakukan oleh kelompok ibu-ibu tani di Desa Tayuban. Namun, kurangnya strategi pemasaran dan belum memiliki kemasan yang menarik konsumen sehingga membuat masyarakat kurang mengenal produk-produk olahan makanan. Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan serta meningkatkan keterampilan melalui kratifitas kemasan-kemasan yang menarik pada masing-masing produk sehingga memiliki ciri khas tersendiri serta memberi pelatihan untuk memasarkan produknya sehingga dapat dikenal oleh masyrakat dan menarik perhatian konsumen. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan kualitatif. Hasil dari makalah ini adalah memberikan inovasi kemasan yang menarik untuk makanan dan minuman tradisional juga memberikan solusi mengenai pemasaran produk makanan tradisional Desa Tayuban secara online melalui marketplace bernama Tokopedia.

Abstract

Desa Janten merupakan desa di Kabupaten Kulon Progo yang memiliki potensi pertanian yang sangat luas. Namun demikian, potensi tersebut masih belum dikembangkan oleh masyarakat di Desa Janten secara maksimal. Pertanian di Desa Janten yang paling besar adalah tanaman padi. Potensi pertanian tersebut kemudian dapat dipasarkan dengan cara menjual ke daerah dekat wisata yang banyak memiliki restoran, ataupun juga bisa dengan mengembangkan lahan disekitar pertanian tersebut dengan cara melakukan Minapadi serta menjelaskan bagaimana memanfaatkan minapadi menjadi sebuah Kawasan wisata melalui pemasaran yang baik.

Abstract

Kelurahan Giripurwo is a cultural village that has abundant cultural wealth. There is a potential culture brought by the government to add to the cultural richness of the Giripurwo Village called shibori cloth. The use of shibori cloth can be one of the cultural potentials that can be maximized by Giripurwo villagers to add cultural and economic value to this village. To explore the function of shibori cloth as a cultural and economic potential that can positively contribute to the Giripurwo Village, online observations are made by conducting literature studies through websites, books, journals, articles, and other sources relevant to the development of the potential of shibori cloth as a cultural asset. The techniques of making shibori can be categorized into 6 different techniques, namely, Kanoko, Miura, Arashi, Itajime, Kumo, and Nui. Different techniques will produce different variations. This variation can be a positive thing because, in its later economic function, consumers are not limited by a limited choice of products. The use of the online marketplace also plays an important role in maximizing the economic function that can be achieved from the shibori cloth products produced by the people of Giripurwo Village.

Abstract

 Abstract — A relationship between nutritional status and food intake which raises new issues related to the condition of family food security, especially in Candirejo Village (Desa Candirejo, Kecamatan Semanu, Kabupaten Gunungkidul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta). The general purpose of community service is to find out what activities or programs can be carried out as a form of maintaining and strengthening family food security, especially in rural areas in order to assist the community in meeting one of the primary needs in the form of food. This service is also carried out to contribute through indirect observation techniques and qualitative data analysis. Data in the form of secondary data obtained from digital platforms / literature studies; website, government publications, internal village records and journals. The role of the village government in maintaining and strengthening family food security will certainly make a significant difference. The existence of social service activities and counseling certainly can help residents to improve skills and abilities that can be applied to villagers in their daily life.Keywords — food security, family, village.  Abstrak — Ada suatu hubungan antara status gizi dan asupan pangan memunculkan isu baru terkait kondisi ketahanan pangan keluarga, terutama di Desa Candirejo, Kecamatan Semanu, Kabupaten Gunungkidul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Tujuan umum pengabdian adalah untuk mengetahui kegiatan atau program apa saja yang dapat dilakukan sebagai bentuk menjaga dan memperkuat ketahanan pangan keluarga khususnya di daerah pedesaan guna membantu masyarakat dalam pemenuhan salah satu kebutuhan primer berupa pangan. Pengabdian ini dilakukan juga untuk memberikan sumbangsih melalui teknik observasi tidak langsung dan analisis data secara kualitatif. Data-data berupa data sekunder diperoleh dari digital platform/studi literatur; situs website, publikasi pemerintah, catatan internal desa dan jurnal-jurnal. Peran pemerintah desa dalam menjaga dan memperkuat ketahanan pangan keluarga tentu akan memberi perubahan yang signifikan. Adanya kegiatan bakti sosial dan penyuluhan pun tentu dapat membantu warga untuk meningkatkan skill dan kemampuan yang dapat diterapkan bagi warga desa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Kata Kunci—Ketahanan pangan, keluarga, desa.

Abstract

Abstract —  Peope service are required activities that become real steps for students in realizing their participation in a community. This program aims to create good relations between people of Banaran Village and Atma Jaya University in Yogyakarta, help increase the development of the potential of Banaran Village, and help preserve and market the typical arts of Banaran Village. Banaran Village has a lot of potential that can be explored and utilized for the welfare and progress of its community. These potentials incule Trisik Beach, Laguna, Turtle Conservation, Shrimp Ponds, Trisik Festival and Reog. In addition, this village has fertile soil so that it has the potential for ornamental plant business. This method of implementing people service program is by collecting data, analyzing potential, and compiling development plans in the form of designs, books, and videos. The implementations of people service is manisfested in the form of planning for Banaran Village to become tourist village in the form of tourism village designs, village potential e-books, and pocket book on ornamental plants.Keywords — People Service, Village Potential, Tourism Village, Banaran Village. Abstrak— Program pengabdian masyarakat merupakan langkah nyata mahasiswa dalam mewujudkan peran sertanya di tengah masyarakat. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan hubungan baik antara masyarakat Desa Banaran dengan Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta, membantu meningkatkan pengembangan potensi yang dimiliki Desa Banaran, serta membantu melestarikan dan memasarkan kesenian khas Desa Banaran. Desa Banaran memiliki banyak potensi yang dapat digali dan dimanfaatkan untuk kesejahteraan dan kemajuan masyarakatnya. Potensi tersebut antara lain Pantai Trisik, Laguna, Konservasi Penyu, Tambak Udang, Trisik Festival dan Reog. Selain itu, desa ini memiliki tanah yang subur sehingga berpotensi untuk usaha tanaman hias. Metode pelaksanaan program pengabdian ini dengan pengumpulan data, analisis potensi, dan penyusunan rencana pembangunan dalam bentuk desain, buku, dan video. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat diwujudkan dengan bentuk perencanaan desa Banaran menjadi desa wisata berupa desain desa wisata, e-book potensi desa, dan buku saku tentang tanaman hias.Kata Kunci— Pengabdian masyarakat, Potensi Desa, Desa Wisata, Desa Banaran.
