Abstract

The purposes of this research are: (1) define the office layout condition in the office of Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga of Boyolali Regency, (2) define the obstacles appeared in Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga of Boyolali Regency’s office layout, (3) define the efforts that has been done to overcome the obstacles faced in the Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga of Boyolali Regency’s office layout, (4) define the working cosiness of the employees in Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga of Boyolali Regency. This research use the qualitative research with the descriptive research method. The research strategy used in this research is the single-case study. This research use the snowball sampling technique with the secretary of Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga of Boyolali Regency as the key informant. In this research, the data collection method done by having an interview supported with observation and documentation. The data validity test technique used is the data triangulation and method triangulation, while the data analysis technique is by collecting the preliminary data, data reduction, data presentation and then defining the conclusion or verification. The result of this research could be concluded that (1) Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga Office of Boyolali Regency still has some obstacles in term of office layout; (2) such as in arranging the working table, lack of space for archives storage and the unused extra furniture, so that it could reduce the cosiness of the employees; (3) To overcome the existing obstacles, the office of Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga has done some efforts such as: proposing for the stuff procurement (filling cabinet and archive shelf), reducing the unused working table and re-arranging the working table. (4) On the other hand, in term of determining the open office layout, installing the divider between the chief and subordinates, lighting, air sirculation, security, cleaness and the impressiveness, the office of Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga already provide the cosiness for the employees.

Abstract

There are three goals in this research: 1) to find the relation between motivation and decision making; 2) to find the relation between family environment and decision making; 3) to find the relation between motivation with family environment and decision making. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. It was conducted on March – June 2016. The research population was the entire students of Office Administration Education batch 2015. The researcher used total population sampling and the amount of the sample in this research was 52 students. For the data gathering technique, the researcher used observation and questionnaire. The researcher analyzed the data using multiple linear regression with prerequisite test. There are two results in this research: 1) there is a significant positive relation between motivation and decision making based on r hitung>r which is 0.414>0.231 at significance of 5% 2) there is a significant positive relation between family environment and decision making based on r tabel hitung >r which is 0.395>0.231 at significance of 5% 3) there is a significant positive relation between motivation with family environment and decision making based on Fhitung > Ftabel tabel which is 8.193>0.410 at significance of 5% The amount of donation motivation family environment towards decision making score is 25.1%.

Abstract

The purposes of this research was to determine: (1) presence or absence of a positife and significant effect between how to learn on the learning result of office equipment managements. (2) presence or absence of a positife and  significant effect between discipline of learning the learning result of office equipment managements. (3) presence or absence of a positife and significant effect between learning style and discipline of learning on the learning result of office equipment managements. The type of research is clausal correlation methods in quantitative research. The population of this research was all students in grade X office administration skill competency of SMK Batik 1 Surakarta in the academic year of 2015/2016 some 120 students with a sample of 55 students. The sampling technique using proportional random sampling technique. Data callection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation technique. Analysis using the statistical test of multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis can be summarized as follows: (1) there is a poaitif and significant effect of how to learn on the learning result of office equipment managements, with tobtained > ttabel (3,403 > 2,006), while relative and effective contribution (X1) to (Y) of 49,18% and 50,8%. (2) there is a positif and significant effect of learning discipline on the learning result of office equipment, with tobtained > ttabel (3,595 > 2,006), while relative and effective contribution (X2) to (Y) of 21,59% and 22,3%. (3) there is a positife and significant effect of learning style and learning discipline on the learning result of office equipment managements, with Fobtained > Ftabel (20,379 > 3,17), with R Square percentage of 43,9%.

Abstract

The research aims to know determine whether there are (1) the effect of assignment learning method on introduction administration office course in the XI graders od Administration Office Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the school year of 2015/2016 ; (2) the effect of utilization of learning media on introduction administration office course in the XI graders od Administration Office Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the school year of 2015/2016 ; (3) the effect of assignment learning method and utilization of learning media on introduction administration office course in the XI graders od Administration Office Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the school year of 2015/2016. This study is a quantitative research with descriptive method. The population of research is all XI graders of Administration Office Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the school year of 2015/2016 consisting of 71 students. The sample consisted of 59 atudents. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. Meanwhile technique of collecting data used is questionnaire and documentation technique. Technique of analyzing data used is statistic test with multiple regression analysis. Considering the result of data analysis, it could be conclud that (1) there was a significant effect of assignment teaching methods on learning outcomes Introduction Administrative subjects in class XI Competency Office Administration in SMK N 1 Karanganyar the school year of 2015/2016, is evident from the correlation value of 0.435> rtabel (0.235) and supported from tcount amounted to 5.273> t table (1.995) with a probability value of 0.000 means that less than 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha1 accepted ; (2) there is significant influence utilization of instructional media for learning outcomes Introduction Adminisrasi subjects in class XI Competence Offices Office Administration in SMK N 1 Karanganyar the school year of 2015/2016, is evident from the correlation value of 0.440> rtabel (0.235) and supported on value thitung 5.318> t table (1.995) with a probability value of 0.000 means that less than 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha2 accepted ; (3) there is significant influence learning method of assignment and utilization of instructional media on the results of study subjects in the class Introduction to Office Administration Office Administration XI Competency SMK N 1 Karanganyar In the school year of 2015/2016, proved of value Fhitung 25.388> F table (3 , 13) with a significance value of 0.000 at significant level of 0.05, then Ho is rejected and HA3 accepted and supported from the value of the effective contribution of the variable method of learning the assignment and utilization of instructional media contributed 42.7% to the learning outcomes of subjects Introduction to Office Administration.

Abstract

This aim of this study is to determine: (1) The description of the teacher competence, especially pedagogical competence and professional competence of vocational high school teacher of office adminstration area of expertise in Surakarta who have followed UKG; (2) Obstacles the vocational high school teacher of Office Administration area of expertise encounter in Surakarta in taking UKG; (3) Type of education and training required by vocational high school teachers of Office Administration areas of expertise in Surakarta getting results UKG below the standards to improve the teachers professionalism. The method used in this study is qualitative research with case study approach. The sources of the data are primary data source in the form of words of informants and secondary data sources in the form of documentation and the archives of UKG results year 2015. The sampling techniques used purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that: (1) Pedagogical and professional competence of vocational high school teachers of office administration areas of expertise in Surakarta own good but still needs to be improved. It is seen from (a) The pedagogic and professional competence have been implemented as indicators Permendiknas No. 16 year 2007 (b) the average value of UKG on pedagogical competence is 51.13 and professional competence is 58.32 (c) The average value of competence pedagogic through questionnaires by 78.35 and amounted to 72.73 of professional competence. (2) Obstacles encountered in taking the UKG is the material tested on the professional competence is too broad, the lack of mastery of pedagogic competence, lack of mastery of the computer (3) Training required by vocational high school teachers of Office Administration areas of experties in Surakarta getting results UKG below the standard to improve the professionalism of teachers including in-depth training of administration productive office subject, training of pedagogical competence and professional competence gradually, computer training.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know about: (1) the appropriateness of Modul Kearsipan based on 2013 curriculum seen by the utilization of teachers and students of the tenth grade of Office Administration of Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 6 Surakarta; (2) the problems of the teachers and the students in utilizing the Modul Kearsipan based on 2013 curriculum which implicated in the Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 6 Surakarta; (3) the solutions to solve the problems of the teachers and the students in utilizing the Modul Kearsipan based on 2013 curriculum which implicated in the Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 6 Surakarta. This research used qualitative method with the case study as the research approach. The informants in this research are the teachers of Archival subject, the productive teachers of Office Administration, the tenth grade students of Office Administration. The data collection used interactive analysis where the activities involved were data reduction, data display, and also conclusion drawing and verification. The data validity was done by using triangulation method and source. From the finding of the research, it can be concluded that (1) the appropriateness of the Modul Kearsipan based on 2013 curriculum seen by the utilization of the teachers and the students consisted of: (a) Modul Kearsipan of the tenth grade students of the second semester for SMK based on 2013 curriculum is appropriate with all of the indicators of the content appropriateness of the module. (b) Modul Kearsipan of X of the second semester for SMK based on 2013 curriculum is appropriate with all of the indicators of language appropriateness. (c) Modul Kearsipan of X of the second semester for SMK based on 2013 curriculum is not yet completing the two indicators of display appropriateness, however it has completed the three indicators of display appropriateness. (d) Modul Kearsipan of the second semester for SMK based on 2013 curriculum is not yet completing one of the indicator of  graphic appropriateness, however it has completed the three indicator of the rest. (2) The problems faced are: (a) the less of practice and exercises from the module, (b) the type of the module is less organized, (c) the less of the examples from the electronic archival material, (d) the goal of the learning is not displayed, (e) the utilization of the students on the module. (3) The solutions are done as follows: (a) adding the exercises for students’ practice, (b) retyping of the unorganized module, (c) adding the materials and examples for electronic archival, (d) displaying the goal of the learning in the module, (e) the utilization of the module through the facility of the library.
