Abstract

Land capacity includes the physical components that influence the potential for disasters in an area. Land capacity classification can provide a systematic assessment of land through categories of characteristics that are potential as well as obstacles to its sustainable use. One example of inhibiting factor is disaster, so the aim of this research is to find out areas that are vulnerable and the level of regional capacity in dealing with natural disasters. The existence of a land capability classification can provide a systematic assessment of land so that it can categorise it as potential or obstacle to land use. This research method is scoring and weighting which is based on Public Planning and Public Housing (PUPR) Ministerial Decree No. 20 of 2007 combined with practical teaching materials for land use planning, Faculty Geography, Universitas Gadjah Mada. There are 4 data inputs, natural disaster maps, slope, rain intensity, and soil sensitivity to erosion. Each input has a variable range that varies on a scale at levels 1-5 with weight range of 0-100. The research location is in Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java. The results obtained are the level of regional capacity for natural disasters in each sub-district, including very low, low, medium, high and very high land capacity with different intensities in each region. Erosion and landslides and landslides are the ratio of disasters with a relatively large area compared to erosion disasters. Apart from that, areas that do not fall into either category are included in the category of areas that are safe from disasters.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a framework to address the gap between the career expectations of the Millennial and Z Generation workforce and the perceived importance (priority) of their career success. This research was conducted by collecting data from 139 respondents from the Millennial Generation and Z Generation at one of the private and public universities in Semarang using a questionnaire method. The questionnaire contains questions about what the Millennial Workforce and Z Generation expect in choosing a career and what factors are their priorities in achieving career success. The data collected was then analyzed using the gap analysis technique to find the gap between the desired things in choosing a career and the priority considerations in choosing a job. The results show that the Millennial Workforce and Z Generation have extrinsic career expectations such as salary, rewards, employment contracts, and future career opportunities. At the same time, considering interests or priorities in choosing a job is intrinsic, such as potential development opportunities, work-life balance, and company culture. In order to close the gap, this research will propose a framework that contains action plans that various stakeholders can carry out. This framework is expected to help the Millennial and Z Generation workforce maximize their potential and navigate them to achieve career success.

Abstract

One of the phrases found in the Qur'an is "al-'urwatul wutsqo," mentioned in two different verses, namely Qur'an Surah Al-Baqarah verse 256 and Surah Luqman verse 22. In order to delve deeper into the meaning of this phrase, the author will apply the semantic analysis of the Qur'an developed by Toshihiko Izutsu. According to Izutsu, the semantics of the Qur'an is an attempt to reveal the worldview (weltanschauung) embedded in the Qur'an through the analysis of the meanings of the vocabulary or key terminology contained within it. This research approach involves exploring the basic meanings and relational relationships of the phrase "al-'urwatul wutsqo" using both syntagmatic and paradigmatic analysis, as well as research on the historical development of its meaning synchronically and diachronically.

Abstract

As time goes by, it cannot be denied that the development of information and communication technology is taking place very quickly and rapidly, where the use of technology is now very easily accessible to various groups of society, regardless of age. Nowadays, everyone from toddlers to parents can take advantage of technology, whether in the form of cellphones, computers or other digital media. For children, digital media can be used to stimulate their development, but the use of digital media does not necessarily have positive impacts but also negative impacts, so here the role of parents is needed to monitor children's development, especially in using digital media. Parents should actively involve themselves in their children's digital lives, supervise their use of technology, and guide them to use media ethically, especially for young children who really need extra assistance from their parents.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) is an electronic form of banknotes, but different from virtual currency or cryptocurrency which are not issued by the state, the CBDC issued and guaranteed by the central bank. The aim of this study is to investigate the impacts of CBDC on financial stability using a Vector Auto-regressive model. The endogenous variables in the VAR estimation contain the Central Bank Digital Currency Attention Index (CBDCA), composite stock price index, real exchange rate, and interest rate (BI7DRR). Background Problems: The presence of CBDC will change the objective of Bank Indonesia and influence the structure of the monetary policy, which is no longer focused on achieving a low and stable inflation rate but on achieving price stability. Novelty: Although CBDCs will be launched worldwide, there are a limited number of empirical studies that have analyzed their impact on financial stability, especially for the case study in Indonesia. In this paper, we also use the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) model with stochastic volatility and Impulse Response Function to make a forecast and see the impacts of shocks on the financial variables. Research Methods: In this study, we used monthly time series data from January 2019 – January 2023. In order to find the correlation between CBDC and the financial market we used the Granger causality model and impulse response function analysis. Finding/Results: The results of this study prove that CBDC has a positive correlation with the real exchange rate, and financial markets such as stock or bond prices have a positive response to shocks in CBDC. Conclusion: In this study, we used monthly time series data from January 2019 – January 2023. We use empirical tests to examine the CBDC attention index in relation to index attention, exchange rates, interest rates and IHSG. Our empirical results show that in Granger causality there is no causal relationship between CBDC and other macroeconomic variables. whereas in the IRF analysis, the response to the CBDC shock tends to be stagnant, the FEVD results show short-term and long-term shock fluctuations in the CBDC and other variables. These results indicate that CBDC does not have a significant effect on the macroeconomic variables used as indicators of financial system stability, but on the contrary, people's attention to CBDC depends on the condition of the variables in the financial system. On the other hand, the development of CBDC depends on economic conditions. The uncertainty surrounding CBDC plays an important role in indicating that the introduction of CBDC brings significant changes to the economy.

Abstract

The current environmental crisis has reached a stage that threatens the existence of planet Earth and the life within it. The damage to nature caused by human actions is proof that the need for environmental ethics in living life in this world, this universe was created by Allah for the life of its creatures. God entrusted it to us. humans are to protect the earth as caliphs, but many people do not care about the impact of natural destruction, large-scale exploitation, living in luxury, boasting about wealth and not caring about their surroundings, therefore the discussion of Surah Al Takasur is Allah's condemnation of human nature. boast about wealth but do not pay attention to the impact of what they do in business without thinking about the long-term impact on life.
