Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the activities of religious counselors and assess public interest in flyer media for guidance and counseling. Religious counselors were responsible for providing counseling services, developing guidance materials, and engaging in professional development. Before conducting counseling sessions, they had to prepare monographs, activity plans, guidance materials, and evaluation instruments. This qualitative study conducted observation, interviews, and documentary analysis as data collection techniques using a descriptive method. The findings indicated that religious counselors’ responsibilities included preparation, counseling services, work plan development, guidance material preparation, implementation, counseling assistance, religious conflict mediation, monitoring and evaluation, cross-sector collaboration, guidance model development, and the formulation of counseling guidelines. Additionally, flyer media effectively attracted public and congregants’ interest in reading, particularly when distributed as e-flyers through social media. E-flyers enabled faster, broader, and more targeted dissemination while incorporating a call to action that encouraged readers to explore further content on the religious counselor’s blog.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of applying Quantum Teaching methods based on neuropedagogy in enhancing student learning outcomes. Quantum Teaching is a pedagogical approach that integrated social, emotional, and cognitive elements within the learning process, while neuropedagogy focuses on understanding how the brain learned optimally. By integrating these two approaches, this study explored how a holistically designed learning environment facilitated the enhancement of students’ understanding and knowledge. The study conducted a mixed-method approach, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative methods to measure the impact of Quantum Teaching methods based on neuropedagogy on students’ academic performance. The findings indicated that students engaged in Quantum Teaching-based learning with a neuropedagogical approach experienced significant improvements in their learning outcomes compared to those following conventional teaching methods. Additionally, this study found that this approach positively affected students’ motivation, engagement, and the development of critical thinking skills. These findings contributed significantly to the field of education, particularly in the context of implementing innovative methods to enhance the quality of learning in the 21st century. The practical implications of this study included recommendations for developing more effective curricula and teaching strategies that educators could apply to achieve better and more holistic learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study examined the influence of Javanese culture-based moral education on adolescent behavior in Kediri. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires involving adolescents aged 13 to 18 years. The results revealed that values such as mutual cooperation, respect for elders, and simplicity were well internalized by teenagers and reflected in their daily behavior. The study also found that Javanese culture-based moral education effectively shaped responsible and ethical adolescent character, although modernization posed challenges that created tensions between traditional values and global influences. The implications of this study emphasized the importance of integrating cultural values into the education curriculum while adapting to the impact of modernization. Further study is recommended to explore how cultural values can be adapted in the context of globalization and to develop holistic educational strategies. These findings provided valuable insights for the advancement of culture-based character education in Kediri and other regions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examined the strategic role of Islamic education in enhancing social media literacy among young generations in the digital age. Using a qualitative approach through library research, the study explored how Islamic education could contribute to developing critical thinking skills, ethical behavior, and responsible use of social media platforms. The findings of the study highlighted three main roles of Islamic education: shaping character and attitudes aligned with Islamic values in social media usage, integrating learning materials on social media ethics, and fostering awareness of the impact of social media on personal development and society. Furthermore, the study identified key strategies for implementing social media literacy in Islamic education, including curriculum integration, utilizing social media as a learning tool, and developing critical thinking skills. The study concluded that Islamic education had significant potential in preparing young generations to face the challenges of the digital era by instilling Islamic principles such as tabayyun (verification), tadabbur (contemplation), and tabarruk (seeking blessings) in their online interactions. This holistic approach was expected to contribute to forming a generation of Muslims who were literate, critical, and responsible in their use of social media.
