Abstract

Memasuki usia remaja, kemampuan regulasi emosi sangat dibutuhkan dalam menghadapi berbagai stresor yang muncul. Kemampuan meregulasi emosi tersebut menurut berbagai studi sangat bergantung kepada kondisi keluarga dimana remaja tersebut tumbuh dan berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kemampuan keberfungsian keluarga dalam memprediksi regulasi emosi remaja yang dibesarkan oleh ibu tunggal. Terdapat 116 responden (49 laki-laki dan 67 perempuan) yang diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan skala The McMaster Family Assessment Device (FAD) untuk mengukur keberfungsian keluarga dan skala Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) untuk mengukur regulasi emosi remaja. Berdasarkan analisis regresi linear berganda diperoleh hasil bahwa aspek keberfungsian keluarga secara signifikan berperan terhadap regulasi emosi pada remaja yang dibesarkan oleh ibu tunggal (p < 0,05 dan R² = 0.12). Berdasarkan analisis regresi linear berganda pada masing-masing aspek FAD, roles (p = 0,04) dan behavior control (p = 0,02) merupakan aspek yang paling signifikan dibandingkan dengan aspek lainnya pada regulasi remaja yang diasuh oleh ibu tunggal. Artinya adanya peran dan kontrol perilaku dari ibu dapat membantu remaja untuk belajar mengelola emosi mereka dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made new students of the class of 2020 experience three transitions at once in their lives. It takes a good ability to regulate emotions so that new students are able to pass the transition period successfully. This study aims to examine the role of emotion regulation on the ability to adjust to college during a pandemic through the emotional support of parents as moderators for new students. A total of 247 new students from the 2020 batch of Gadjah Mada University participated voluntarily in filling out the online questionnaire. There are three measuring tools used, namely the Emotion Regulation Scale, Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire (SACQ), and the Parental Emotional Support Scale. Moderation Regression Analysis was used to test the hypothesis and the results showed that parental emotional support was not proven to moderate the relationship between emotional regulation and college adjustment. However, emotion regulation was shown to have a direct positive effect on academic and social adjustment (p < 0.05).

Abstract

Telekonseling telah digunakan di Indonesia sejak beberapa tahun terakhir dan semakin memuncak saat pandemi terjadi, tetapi belum terdapat panduan spesifik mengenai kompetensi apa saja yang perlu dimiliki psikolog dalam memberikan layanan telekonseling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kompetensi dasar apa saja yang perlu dimiliki psikolog dalam melakukan telekonseling. Identifikasi kompetensi psikolog dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Delphi, aitem kompetensi awal disusun melalui literature review yang selanjutnya dikirimkan kepada panel ahli untuk diberikan penilaian, komentar dan masukan terkait kompetensi yang ada. Konsensus dilakukan melalui dua kali putaran. Dari 51 orang panel ahli yang diundang sebanyak 31 panel ahli berpartisipasi dalam penelitian dengan latar belakang dosen pengampu Mata Kuliah Konseling, psikolog dan tim penyusun panduan telepsikologi HIMPSI dan AP2TPI. Berdasarkan kesepakatan panel ahli, diperoleh 93 kompetensi yang perlu dimiliki psikolog dalam melakukan telekonseling yang terbagi ke dalam empat kategori yakni pengembangan hubungan interpersonal, pelaksanaan asesmen dan evaluasi, pelaksanaan intervensi dan konsultasi, serta penguasaan kode etik dan standar layanan. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh sejumlah rekomendasi terkait kebijakan dan penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Numerical tasks have become part of the daily activities of individuals even in academic potential tests which have the potential to cause stress to individuals. The background of majoring in science is thought to be one of the factors that influence the individual's physiological response to stress when doing numerical tasks. This study aims to investigate whether there are differences in the final results and processing stages on numerical tasks between students majoring in science and social studies. A simple mathematical numerical task was given to participants to respond by adding numbers that were close to each other within a predetermined time limit. Twenty-two participants took the test twice with a one-week gap between tests. Recording of participants' electrodermal activity while working on a task using a galvanic meter. The results show that there is no difference in performance between students in majoring in social science and science (t = 0.552; p = 0.587), however, there are indications of different stress dynamics, where students in majoring in science show a positive effect of stress, while students in majoring in social science show the opposite. Further discussed the stress response on the difference in the frequency of meetings with numerical tasks during education at school.

Abstract

Menjadi inovatif merupakan salah satu kunci keberlangsungan suatu organisasi, termasuk institusi pendidikan. Guru, sebagai pemegang peran krusial dalam institusi pendidikan juga amat perlu mengembangkan perilaku inovatif agar dapat mencapai tujuan pendidikan di abad ke-21. Studi korelasional dilakukan untuk meneliti apakah keikutsertaan pada pendidikan profesi, efikasi guru, dan dukungan sosial di sekolah memprediksi perilaku inovatif pada guru sekolah dasar di Jakarta, Bogor, Bekasi, dan Depok. Sebanyak 234 partisipan mengisi kuesioner self-report untuk mengukur ketiga variabel tersebut. Analisis regresi majemuk dilakukan untuk mengolah data yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa ketiga variabel signifikan memprediksi perilaku inovatif guru, namun pada dimensi yang berbeda-beda dari perilaku inovatif guru. Selain itu, dukungan sosial ditemukan menjadi kontributor terbesar dalam memprediksi perilaku inovatif guru. Implikasi dari hasil yang ditemukan menunjukkan urgensi pengembangan aspek pendidikan, personal, dan sosial guru agar dapat menerapkan perilaku inovatif dalam kesehariannya.

Abstract

Persyaratan dasar aplikasi belanja online antara lain menyediakan informasi yang berkualitas dan keamanan aplikasi bagi penggunanya. Inovasi teknologi saat ini menggunakan mobile phone atau disebut mobile commerce (m-commerce) untuk akses dalam berbelanja online. Shopee sebagai salah satu m-commerce ternama, berupaya memberikan beragam akses informasi dan meningkatkan tingkat keamanan aplikasi untuk menjaga kepuasan penggunanya. Kepuasan atas pelayanan yang diberikan m-commerce dapat memicu pembelian ulang pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara kualitas informasi atau keamanan aplikasi terhadap niat pembelian ulang pengguna Shopee dengan mediator kepuasan konsumen. Metode penelitian kuantitatif survei dengan 272 subjek konsumen Shopee yang dipilih menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan program Process Hayes model 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepuasan konsumen memediasi hubungan kualitas informasi dan niat pembelian ulang (β=0,0596; CI=0,03, 0,09). Sementara itu, mediator kepuasan konsumen memediasi hubungan keamanan aplikasi dan niat pembelian ulang (β=0,2408; CI=0,16, 0,34). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa perasaan puas atas layanan informasi yang relevan dan keamanan aplikasi dapat membentuk niat konsumen membeli di aplikasi yang sama.

Abstract

Academic stress is a condition experienced by any university student. However, academic stress can be a significant problem if it disrupts daily activities and incites maladaptive responses. This paper aimed to understand the correlation between tawakal and academic stress in assignment completion among students of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The sampling method in this study was cluster random sampling involving 320 students of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, aged 18 to 22 years old, from both genders. It utilized two measuring instruments namely: a) stress academic scale based on Sarafino and Smith’s theory with a reliability coefficient of 0.926, and b) tawakal scale based on Ibnu Qayyim’s theory with a reliability coefficient of 0.946. The data analysis technique implemented in the present study was Spearman’s correlation technique resulting in r=-0.103 and p=0.033 (p<0.05). Based on regression analysis between every aspect of tawakal with academic stress, there are three aspects of tawakal that contribute significantly to reducing academic stress, namely understanding the law of cause and effect (p=0,006), strengthening qalbu and tauhid (p=0,032), and leaving everything to Allah (p=0.000) Based on the analysis, there is a negative correlation between tawakal and academic stress in assignment completion among students of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Thus, tawakal can become a solution to reduce the level of stress among university students.

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic has altered students' sleep patterns due to increasing academic demands as a compromise to switching the learning mode from direct classroom interaction to online learning. As a result, some believed it would affect the quality of cognitive functions. We conducted one experiment involving ~200 undergraduate students to measure their inhibitory control -a segment of cognitive process that allows controlling the unnecessary but often striking impulses – under two conditions, i.e., sufficient sleep and lack of sleep. Participants were asked to record their regular sleeping hours a week before the measurement period to get the baseline condition. Lack of sleep condition was determined by taking only partitions (less than 85%) of the regular sleeping hours overnight. Inhibitory control was measured using the online version of Simon Task about 30 minutes after the participants woke up in the morning. We found no direct effect of sleep deprivation on the performance of the Simon Task. Participants performed the Simon Task comparably well between the Sleep Deprived and Sufficient Sleep conditions. However, sleep deprivation inhibited the learning process required to perform identical Simon Task on the subsequent measurement intake. Our finding demonstrates that despite no empiric evidence of the direct impact of sleep deprivation on cognitive function per se, it affects the covert learning process required to perform well in future assignments.
