Abstract

This research is conducted because of the need for an information system about how each student's learning development and student behavior were needed, so that Counseling Teacher (BK) was needed. Counseling Teacher (BK) SMA Negeri 1 Batang Kapas is a school directly related to student discipline that requires a computerized information system to operate data collection so that it is more optimal. It is carried out because the Counseling Guidance in schools has not used a computerized system in carrying out its work activities, the school still uses a conventional system such as in making attendance reports and archiving student violation data still using a portfolio so it seems that they use a lot of paper, many points of violation are not accumulated because of recording is still manual, so that sanctions are not appropriate and there is no valid and effective database in data management. It is the background for researchers to design a student counseling guidance information system using the CodeIgniter (CI) framework. The methodology used in the research is the type of research and development research commonly called R&D, which is research to create the desired program and test the program's effectiveness. The research model chosen is the 4D version, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. This model uses the waterfall. Based on the results of the product test, the validity results of several computer experts were 0.91 (very valid), the results of the practicality test of two Counseling Teacher and one homeroom teacher obtained an average result of 0.91, which is very practical, while for the effectiveness test it was obtained value 0.91 (very high).

Abstract

In this research, the author encountered some problems with PPDB (admission of new students) in SMP N 3 Kecamatan Payakumbuh, as there was no website for new student registration. As a result, the announcement about the PPDB was announced through brochures. Sometimes, this makes a problem, such as a brochure was lost or torn. Therefore, there were obstacles to administration and information about the PPDB, it made inefficient. Another problem was that there was no data stored in the database, which made data vulnerable to lose and easily burned. Research and Development (R&D) with the system development model used is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), which consists of 5 stages, namely Communication, Planning, Modeling, Construction dan Deployment. When planning‎[1], the ACON student information system was built using PHP/MySql. The research was tested using a validity test with three validators, and the system was declared valid with an average of 0.78. Furthermore, the system was declared very practical with an average of 0.97 after being tested on three teachers. At last, the effectiveness test was conducted on 5 students, and the system received a very high effectiveness score of 0.87 on average‎.

Abstract

This study aims to create new business opportunities for students using information technology (IT) and the internet by becoming entrepreneurs. The basic concept of using IT and the Internet is to be the main actor in the development of e-commerce and to be a part of it by using certain methods. One method that can be applied in e-commerce is the dropshipping method. With this dropshipping method, anyone can sell goods/services without having to have a stock of goods/services simply by collaborating with manufacturers, shops, and suppliers. The method in this research is an experimental research method. Explorative research aims to explore or deepen knowledge, phenomena, and new ideas to formulate problems in detail. From the research results on 32 students who became participants, the success rate of implementing the dropshipping method in this study was 71.87%, namely 23 students succeeded in selling products while nine other students failed to sell products or 28.13%. This direct practice's high level of success can be used as a reference for development and broad application in creating new business opportunities for students by becoming a dropshipper.

Abstract

The KIP scholarship is one of the scholarships available at IAIN Bukittinggi, and prospective recipients will be chosen based on the number of quotas available. Thus far, the selection process has been carried out by calculating the total value based on the sum of the percentages of each criterion arranged according to the level of importance. The procedure does not include a decision-making system for determining whether or not to accept the KIP scholarship. As a result, a decision support system is required to quickly and accurately determine which students are eligible for scholarships. In this research, the decision-making system compares the SAW and TOPSIS methods, with the latter using normalized weights in calculating the preference value as a determining value for alternative scholarship recipients to be selected. The SAW method was found to be more sensitive than the TOPSIS method in the data for the KIP scholarship 2020 recipients at IAIN Bukittinggi, with a sensitivity value of 96.87 compared to 81.96 for the TOPSIS method. Based on these findings, the SAW method can be recommended as a decision return system for KIP scholarship recipients to study at IAIN Bukittinggi the following year.

Abstract

The teacher is a professional educator who has essential duties, functions, and roles in the nation's intellectual life. In order for the functions and duties attached to the functional positions of teachers to be carried out following applicable regulations, it is necessary to assess teacher performance which ensures a quality learning process at all levels of education. Currently, teacher performance evaluation uses a manual assessment system, which causes the evaluation process to be relatively long. For this reason, a decision support system is needed that can take into account all the criteria that support decision making in order to assist, speed up and simplify the decision-making process. In determining teacher performance assessment, the method used is Fuzzy Takagi-Sugeno Kang (Fuzzy Sugeno). This method was chosen because the Fuzzy Sugeno method is a decision support model where the main input uses the basic concept of finding the weighted summation. The Fuzzy Sugeno method for assessing teacher performance uses three stages: the Fuzzification Stage, the Implication Function Stage, and the Defuzzification Stage. The level of validity with Sugeno's Fuzzy Inference Systems (FIS) method for assessing teacher performance is very good.

Abstract

Ruangguru is an online non-formal education application in Indonesia. There are several appealing features that encourage students to study online. The app's release on the Google Play Store will assist app developers in receiving feedback through the review feature.Users submit various topics and comments about Ruangguru in the review feature of Ruangguru, making it difficult to manually identify public sentiments and topics of conversation. Opinions submitted by users on the review feature are interesting to research further. This study aims to classify user opinions into positive and negative classes and model topics in both classes. Topic modeling aims to find out the topics that are often discussed in each class. The stages of this study include data collection, data cleaning, data transformation, and data classification with the Support Vector Machine method and the Latent Dirichlet Allocation method for topic modeling. The results of topic modeling with the LDA method in each positive and negative class can be seen from the coherence value. Namely, the higher the coherence value of a topic, the easier the topic is interpreted by humans. The testing process in this study used Confusion Matrix and ROUGE. The results of model performance testing using the Confusion Matrix are shown with accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measure values of 0.9, 0.9, 0.9, and 0.89, respectively. The results of model performance testing using ROUGE resulted in the highest recall, precision, and f-measure of 1, 0.84, and 0.91. The highest coherence value is found in the 20th topic, with a value of 0.318. Using the Support Vector Machine and Latent Dirichlet Allocation algorithms are considered adequate for sentiment analysis and topic modeling for the Ruangguru application.

Abstract

Residence is the most important means of life as a place to gather with family and build a peaceful and harmonious family. The realization of community welfare and quality human resources can be characterized by an improvement in the standard of living. This research took an alternative location to the villages located in Rumbai district, namely Sri Meranti, Umban Sari, Palas, Lembah Damai, Limbungan Baru, Meranti Pandak. The criteria used are at least 6 criteria with the AHP Method and Satisficing Model. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method compares based on human perception, the AHP method can be strengthened by the Satisficing Models method because the Satisficing Models method in this case is a comparison method that calculates real financial or economic value with the human perception method. Thus, it can be concluded from this application and research that the Satisficing Models Method is a supporting method or method to strengthen the feasibility of the AHP method. The AHP method compares only six sides of the compared criteria in this DSS, while the Satisficing Models method compares all six financial aspects. In this case, the recommended alternative location to select is the one with the highest rating result in the AHP method - The Satisficing Model.

Abstract

The development of feminism, which is centered on women all over the world who want to be free of male pressure, oppression, and inequality, has continued to the present day. Various public opinions about feminism are now being expressed on various social media platforms. There has been a long debate about feminism's critics and supporters in terms of equalizing women's intellectual and the role of women in making decisions. Not only that, but the desire to end acts of violence and injustice against women is a form of feminism that is often taken for granted, even in the legal realm. The purpose of this study was to examine public sentiment based on opinions shared on social media. Hashtags related to feminism from social media are the main data that will be used to analyze public opinion sentiments about feminism. In this study, 500 tweets were used, and the data was later separated into positive, negative, and neutral opinions before being analyzed using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method. The results of this study obtained an accuracy of 72%, indicating that the use of SVM to perform sentiment analysis on Twitter data is quite good.
