Abstract

During this pandemic, all kinds of activities are carried out online, including Education activities, learning is carried out online both at the elementary school to tertiary level, besides that the Minister of Education and Culture said that the priority for independent learning in 2021 would focus on eight priorities and one of them is digitalization that focuses on media public relations and media models. Digital education in this case the internet is one of the most important things to support these activities, if there is a disruption to the internet it will affect the learning process and academic services in an institution. Based on this policy, a decision-making policy is needed in determining the appropriate internet provider according to needs. The strong reason to look for in this research is the number of internet providers that offer fast, stable internet services and affordable prices, but in reality the network provided is not able to facilitate internet needs. A decision support system that is flexible and can provide answers quickly can help top management in making decisions. The results of the decision support system research using the Topsis algorithm method which is to provide ranking of the best alternatives and solutions. Abstract

The KIP scholarship is one of the scholarships available at IAIN Bukittinggi, and prospective recipients will be chosen based on the number of quotas available. Thus far, the selection process has been carried out by calculating the total value based on the sum of the percentages of each criterion arranged according to the level of importance. The procedure does not include a decision-making system for determining whether or not to accept the KIP scholarship. As a result, a decision support system is required to quickly and accurately determine which students are eligible for scholarships. In this research, the decision-making system compares the SAW and TOPSIS methods, with the latter using normalized weights in calculating the preference value as a determining value for alternative scholarship recipients to be selected. The SAW method was found to be more sensitive than the TOPSIS method in the data for the KIP scholarship 2020 recipients at IAIN Bukittinggi, with a sensitivity value of 96.87 compared to 81.96 for the TOPSIS method. Based on these findings, the SAW method can be recommended as a decision return system for KIP scholarship recipients to study at IAIN Bukittinggi the following year.

Abstract

This article aims to produce an informatics learning media at SMPN 2 Ampek Angkek, this problem stems from the fact that in the learning process teachers in explaining teaching material still use manual/non-computerized media such as using books and blackboards, this has an impact on the learning atmosphere of students feeling bored and not focused on studying. Therefore, computerized learning media is needed that can be used during the learning process. This research model is research and development (Research and Development) with the development model framework used being 4 D. This research produces learning media applications that can be used by teachers and students in application-based growth and development experiences via Android. The validation test carried out by 4 experts got a final score of 0.8 with valid results, the results of the practicality test from 1 expert got a final score of 0.9 with a very high class and the results of the item effectiveness test from 15 students got a score of 0.8 with high feasibility classification. From the results of this research, the learning media that has been designed has been tested for its validity, practicality and effectiveness, and this learning media application can be used by teachers and students in the informatics learning process. Abstrak Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran informatika di SMPN 2 Ampek Angkek, persoalan ini berangkat bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran guru dalam menjelaskan materi ajar masih menggunakan media manual/non-komputerisasi seperti menggunakan buku dan papan tulis, ini berdampak pada suasana pembelajaran siswa merasa jenuh dan tidak fokus belajar. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan media pembelajaran berbasis komputerisasi yang dapat digunakan selama proses pembelajaran. Model penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan kerangka kerja model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah 4D. Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dan siswa dalam pengalaman tumbuh kembang berbasis aplikasi melalui android. Uji Validasi yang dilakukan oleh 4 ahli mendapatkan skor terakhir 0,8 dengan hasil valid, hasil dari uji praktikalitas dari 1 ahli mendapatkan skor terakhir 0,9 dengan kelas sangat tinggi dan hasil dari uji efektivitas item dari 15 peserta didik mendapatkan skor 0,8 dengan klasifikasi kelayakan tinggi.Dari hasil penelitian tersebut media  pembelajaran yang telah dirancang tersebut teruji kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektivitannya, dan aplikasi media pembelajarna ini dapat digunakan oleh guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran informatika.

Abstract

Student work in the form of innovations and crafts should be disseminated so as not to become an element of plagiarism for others. While at SMPN7 Bukittinggi student work is still stored manually in a cupboard, so student work is often home and not well maintained. The research aims to design a promotion system for the work of class VIII students in the subject of Crafts at SMPN 7 Bukittinggi so that it can be accessed publicly. The type of research conducted is using the R&D (Research And Development) method using the PPE (Planning, Production, Evaluation) development method. The results of this research are in the form of a website promotion system for student work that has been tested for validity of 0.89 in the “valid” category. The practicality of this system through teacher responses is 0.90 with the category “very practical”. The effectiveness of using the promotion system is 0.5 in the “medium” category. The contribution of this research can increase public access to student work in class VIII at SMPN 7 Bukittinggi so that it can be widely recognized. Abstrak Karya siswa dalam bentuk inovasi dan kerajinan seharusnya dapat disebarluaskan agar tidak menjadi unsur plagiat bagi yang lain. Sementara di SMPN7 Bukittinggi karya siswa masih disimpan secara manual dalam lemari, sehingga karya siswa sering rumah dan tidak terawatt dengan baik. Penelitian bertujuan merancang sistem promosi karya siswa kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran Prakarya di SMPN 7 Bukittinggi agar dapat diakses secara publik. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah menggunakan metode R&D (Research And Development) menggunakan metode pengembangan PPE (Planning, Production, Evaluation). Hasil peneleitian ini berupa sebuah website sistem promosi karya siswa yang telah teruji kevalidan sebesar 0,89 dengan kategori “valid”. Kepraktisan sistem ini melalui respon guru sebesar 0,90 dengan kategori “sangat praktis”. Keefektifan penggunaaan sistem promosi sebesar 0,5 dengan kategori “sedang”. Kontribusi penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan akses masyarakat luas terhadap karya siswa pada kelas VIII di SMPN 7 Bukittinggi sehingga dapat dikenal secara luas.

Abstract

This article aims to produce a system plan in the form of a school website using WordPress CMS in promotional efforts at Guguak Randah Integrated MAS. This is because the school still uses conventional promotional media to convey information to the public, which has resulted in this madrasah not yet becoming well-known and its existence known. The impact is that there are no new student applicants available each school year because the information obtained is very limited. The research uses the development method or Research and Development (R&D) with the RAD (Rapid Application Development) development model which consists of three stages, namely the Requirement Planning, Design Workshop, Implementation stages. The findings of this research are in the form of a responsive website design that presents information about madrasas that is valid, practical and effective. From the product validity test results, a value of 0.76 was obtained in the very valid category, practicality test results from 3 respondents obtained a value of 0.91 in the very high category, and effectiveness test results from 9 assessors obtained a value of 95.11 in the very effective category. Abstrak Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah rancangan sistem dalam bentuk website Sekolah Menggunakan CMS WordPress dalam Upaya Promosi di MAS Terpadu Guguak Randah. Hal ini disebabkan bahwa sekolah masih menggunakan media promosi konvesional dalam menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat yang mengakibatkan madrasah ini tidak belum begita terkenal dan diketahui keberadaannya. Dampaknya adalahnya kurangnya penimat siswa baru disetiap tahun ajaran disebabkan informasi yang didapatkan sangat terbatas. Penelitian menggunakan metode pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan RAD (Rapid Application Development) yang terdiri dari pada tiga tahapan yaitu tahapan Requirements Planning, Design Workshop, Implementations. Temuan penelitian ini berupa rancangan website yang responsive dengan menyajikan informasi seputar madrasal yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Dari hasil uji validitas produk didapatkan nilai 0,76 dengan kategori sangat valid, hasil uji praktikalitas dari 3 orang responden diperoleh nilai 0,91 dengan kategori sangat tinggi, dan hasil uji efektivitas dari 9 orang penilai diperoleh nilai 95,11 dengan kategori sangat efektif.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to design an Android-based school inventory application to assist in managing item data, making it easier to borrow and return items. This is due to a problem that Islamic boarding schools do not yet have an inventory application for goods at the boarding school, currently the data collection carried out by the Islamic boarding school is still less effective. This can be seen from the inventory of many schools that do not yet have item codes, there have been cases where items were lost where the code for the item was not known. The data for recording goods should be real with the data collected at school. Complete this research using the Research and Development (R&D) model. This model is applied to create a particular product and test the product. The R&D model in this research applies the ADDIE development model with five stages, namely Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. Product testing is carried out using validity tests, practicality tests and effectiveness tests. The findings of this research produce coding of goods in the form of a QR Code, making it easier to manage cottage inventory data. The results of the product validity test with two experts in the field of programming and one expert in the field of linguistics obtained a value of 0.88, categorized as valid, the results of the practicality test with fifteen teachers at the Diniyyah Pasia Modern Islamic Boarding School obtained a value of 0.91, categorized as level The practicality is very high, and the results of the effectiveness test with one head teacher of the computer laboratory and one person from the administration section obtained a score of 0.88, categorized as a high level of effectiveness. So from these results it can be concluded that the Android-based School Inventory Management Application product using Kodular at the Diniyyah Pasia Modern Islamic Boarding School is valid, practical and effective to use. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk merancang aplikasi inventaris sekolah berbasis android untuk membantu dalam pengelolaan data barang, kemudahan dalam peminjaman dan pengembalian barang. Hal ini disebabkan suatu permasalahan di pondok pesantren belum memiliki aplikasi inventaris barang di pondok tersebut, pada saat ini pendataan barang yang dilakukan oleh Pondok masih kurang efektif. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari inventaris sekolah banyak yang belum memiliki kode barang, pernah terjadinya kehilangan barang yang mana barang tersebut tidak diketahui kodenya. Semestinya data pencatatan barang harus real dengan pendataan barang disekolah. Menyelesaikan penelitian ini menggunakan model Research and Development (R&D). Model ini diterapkan untuk membuat sebuah produk tertentu dan menguji produk tersebut. Model R&D pada penelitian ini menerapkan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan lima tahapan yaitu Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Pengujian produk dilakukan dengan uji validitas, uji praktikalitas, dan uji efektivitas. Temuan penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan pengkodean barang dalam bentuk QR Code sehingga memudahkan dalam pengelolaan data inventaris pondok. Hasil uji validitas produk dengan dua orang ahli di bidang pemrograman dan satu orang ahli di bidang kebahasaan diperoleh nilai 0,88 dikategorikan valid, hasil uji praktikalitas dengan limabelas orang bapak/ibuk guru di Pondok Pesantren Modern Diniyyah Pasia diperoleh nilai 0,91 dikategorikan dengan tingkat kepraktisan sangat tinggi, dan hasil uji efektivitas dengan satu orang guru kepala labor komputer dan satu orang bagian tata usaha diperoleh nilai 0,88 dikategorikan dengan tingkat keefektifan tinggi. Maka dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan produk Aplikasi Manajemen Inventaris Sekolah Berbasis Android Menggunakan Kodular di Pondok Pesantren Modern Diniyyah Pasia sudah valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan.

Abstract

This Papers is motivated by a problem at SMAN 5 Bukittinggi shows that teachers often have difficulty analyzing the emotional state of their students. This is based on the difficulty of teachers to control and classify the emotional state of each student while learning, which has an impact on the effectiveness of classroom management. The developed system is designed to automatically detect students' emotions, so that teachers can understand students' emotional conditions and adjust teaching methods. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) which includes the stages of needs identification, design, development, testing, implementation, and evaluation. The data used are 28,700 facial images taken from the Kaggle platform and used to train CNN models in classifying seven emotions: angry, disgusted, afraid, happy, sad, surprised, and neutral. The system was tested at SMA Negeri 5 Bukittinggi involving teachers and students. The results showed that the developed system was valid (score 0.88), practical (score 0.62), and effective (score 0.83) in detecting students' emotions and helping classroom management. The contributions of this research include innovating the use of AI in education, providing technological solutions for teachers to better understand students' emotional states, and improving the interaction and quality of classroom management. Overall, the system is expected to help improve the quality of learning by providing teachers with more sophisticated and responsive tools to support effective classroom management. Abstrak Artikel ini dilatar belakangi dari suatu permasalahan di SMAN 5 Bukittinggi menunjukkan bahwa guru sering mengalami kesulitan mengenai analisa emosional dari siswanya. ini didasari oleh guru susah untuk mengontrol dan mengklasisifikasikan emosional dari setiap siswa saat belajar, yang berdampak pada efektivitas pengelolaan kelas. Sistem yang dikembangkan dirancang untuk mendeteksi emosi siswa secara otomatis, sehingga guru dapat memahami kondisi emosional siswa dan menyesuaikan metode pengajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang meliputi tahapan identifikasi kebutuhan, desain, pengembangan, pengujian, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Data yang digunakan berupa 28.700 citra wajah yang diambil dari platform Kaggle dan digunakan untuk melatih model CNN dalam mengklasifikasikan tujuh emosi: marah, jijik, takut, senang, sedih, terkejut, dan netral. Sistem diuji di SMA Negeri 5 Bukittinggi dengan melibatkan guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan valid (skor 0,88), praktis (skor 0,62), dan efektif (skor 0,83) dalam mendeteksi emosi siswa dan membantu pengelolaan kelas. Kontribusi penelitian ini mencakup inovasi penggunaan AI dalam pendidikan, memberikan solusi teknologi bagi guru untuk lebih memahami kondisi emosional siswa, serta meningkatkan interaksi dan kualitas pengelolaan kelas. Secara keseluruhan, sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dengan memberikan guru alat yang lebih canggih dan responsif untuk mendukung pengelolaan kelas yang efektif.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to produce a design for a web-based student attendance system using the Whatsapp API at MTs Negeri 7 Agam. Currently, the attendance process at MTs Negeri 7 Agam is still manual, making the use of paper for the attendance register less efficient. Apart from that, recapitulation of student attendance is also done manually and takes a long time. With this system, it can make it easier for teachers to carry out attendance and also recapitulation, so that teachers can easily get the data they want. This research uses the development method or Research and Development (R&D). Using the RAD (Rapid Application and Development) development model. The product tests used in this research are validity tests, practicality tests, and effectiveness tests. The findings from this research are that a web-based student attendance system has been successfully designed and can be used to support monitoring of student arrival and attendance at a school. The results of the product validity test with two experts in the field of programming and one expert in the field of linguistics obtained a value of 0.92, the results of the practicality test with twenty teachers at MTs Negeri 7 Agam obtained a value of 0.74, categorized as a high level of practicality. , and the results of the effectiveness test with 30 students and 5 parents obtained a value of 0.92, categorized as a very high level of effectiveness. So from these results, the Web-Based Student Attendance product using the WhatsApp API at MTs Negeri 7 Agam is valid, practical and effective to uses. Abstrak Tujuan artikel ini untuk menghasilkan sebuah rancangan sistem presensi siswa berbasis web dengan menggunakan API Whatsapp di MTs Negeri 7 agam, saat ini proses presensi di MTs Negeri 7 agam masih manual, menyebabkan pemakaian kertas untuk daftar hadir kurang efesien. Selain itu rekapitulasi presensi siswa juga dilakukan secara manual dan memakan waktu yang lama. Dengan adanya sistem ini dapat memudahkan guru dalam melakukan presensi dan juga rekapitulasi, sehingga para guru mudah mendapatkan data yang di inginkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Menggunakan model pengembangan RAD (Rapid Aplication and Development). Uji produk yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji validitas, uji praktikalitas, dan uji efektivitas. Temuan dari peneletian ini adalah membuat sebuah sistem presensi siswa berbasis web telah berhasil dirancang dan dapat digunakan sebagai penunjang monitor kedatangan dan kehadiaran siswa pada sebuah sekolah. Hasil uji validitas produk dengan dua orang ahli di bidang pemrograman dan satu orang ahli di bidang kebahasaan diperoleh nilai 0,92, hasil uji praktikalitas dengan dua puluh orang bapak/ibuk guru di MTs Negeri 7 Agam diperoleh nilai 0,74 dikategorikan dengan tingkat kepraktisan tinggi, dan hasil uji efektivitas dengan 30 orang siswa dan 5 orang tua diperoleh nilai 0,92 dikategorikan dengan tingkat keefektifan sangat tinggi. Maka dari hasil tersebut, produk Presensi Siswa Berbasis Web Dengan Menggunakan API Whatsapp di MTs Negeri 7 agam sudah valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Public service or community service is defined as the provision of services to people who have an interest. The Center for Conservation and Natural Resources is an agency that is engaged in the field of conservation and natural resources which is responsible for supervising the captive efforts and maintenance of protected plants and animals by individuals, companies and institutions. The community is the main source of information for this agency in terms of monitoring the use of natural resources in their environment, but it is the community themselves who rarely provide information because the community must report directly and it takes time and money to report. One alternative that can be done to provide good service is to build an information system application for communication media with the Work System Framework approach. Balai Konservasi Dan Sumber Daya Alam adalah sebuah Instansi yang bergelut di bidang konservasi dan sumber daya alam yang bertanggung jawab mengawasi upaya-upaya penangkaran dan pemeliharaan tumbuhan dan satwa dilindungi oleh perorangan, perusahaan dan lembaga. Masyarakat merupakan sumber informasi utama bagi instansi ini dalam hal pemantauan terhadap pemanfaatan sumberdaya alam di lingkugannya, tetapi justru masyarakat sendiri yang jarang memberikan informasi dikaranakan masyarakat harus melakukan pelaporan secara langsung dan membutuhkan waktu dan biaya untuk melakukan pelaporan. Work System Framework adalah sebuah sistem dimana manusia atau mesin berpartisipasi menjalankan proses bisnis dengan menggunakan informasi, teknologi dan sumber daya, dalam melakukan analisa dan perancangan dilakukan kan pemodelan dengan Unified modeling language.
