Abstract

The purpose of this research is to gain a broad overview of Islam Nusantara, both in terms of its characteristics and the values contained within it. This is a qualitative research study that produces descriptive data in the form of speech, writing, or observed behavior of individuals. The data collection technique involves documentation, accompanied by a detailed analysis. The research results show that there are several educational concepts within Islam Nusantara that can serve as examples for education stakeholders. These concepts and principles include: 1). Concept of Rahmatan Lil’âlamîn: Teaching, instruction, nurturing, and upbringing that embody tolerance, flexibility, moderation, balance, and maintaining harmony. 2). Concept of Akhlak Al-Karimah (Noble Character): Love for the homeland, compassion, love for peace, tolerance, equality, consultation, cooperation, concern, responsibility, appreciation, self-reliance, sincerity, honesty, humility, and patience. 3). Concept of Exemplary Behavior: Intellectual exemplariness, emotional exemplariness, and inspirational exemplariness.

Abstract

This article examines the managerial role of Prophet Muhammad in his position as a leader. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative and is included in the literature review. The process of collecting data in this study is by making observations, in the sense of tracking various references related to the study’s focus, both from books, articles, and so on, that support these data. The data analysis technique used in this study is the content analysis method. The study shows that almost all leadership theories exist in Muhammad PBUH, for example, four leadership functions developed by Stephen Covey: 1. pathfinding; 2. aligning; 3. empowering and; 4. modeling. Likewise, the characteristics of Muhammad PBUH can also be found in the basic characteristics of leadership according to Warren Bennis (1994) in “On Becoming a Leader,” among others: 1. Visionary (guiding vision); 2. Strong-willed (passion); 3. Integrity; 4. Trust; 5. Curiosity, and; 6. Courage. Likewise with management theory, according to G. R. Terry, the management process is Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling, all of which are in Muhammad PBUH

Abstract

To face the swift flow of the times there needs to be a lot of effort in creating a generation that still holds tightly to qur'ani values. Therefore, it is necessary to have activities to read and write the Qur'an to help the younger generation learn about the Qur'an. The implementation of this research was carried out at MTs Nizhamiyah Ploso Jombang, using Qualitative research methods by obtaining data from interview sources of related parties and then analyzed by the author. The purpose of the study was to find out the strategy of MTs Nizhamiyah Ploso in trying to create a generation of qur'ani. The importance of Qur'an-based education and the method of reading and writing the Qur'an at the institution. Mts Nizhamiyah Ploso seeks to produce a generation of qur'ani through the activity of reading and writing the Qur'an. The importance of Qur'anic-based education needs to be instilled in students through the privileges of recitation, tadabbur, memorization, learning and practicing the Qur'an. Al-Qur'an reading and writing activities at Mts Nizhomiyah Ploso use the Tilawati method, and the implementation is divided into several classes according to student capacity. Keyword: Qur'anic Generation. Abstract

Abstract  Marriage is an important event in human life and carries many traditional values that are passed down from generation to generation. These traditional values reflect the cultural richness and social norms highly regarded in society. At the same time, wedding ceremonies also have significant economic impacts. This literature review aims to explore and analyze the relationship between the traditional values in wedding ceremonies and their economic impacts. The research methodology involves a literature review from various sources, such as academic journals, books, articles, and other relevant information sources. The findings of the research indicate that the traditional values in wedding ceremonies play a crucial role in preserving the cultural identity of a community. These traditions encompass customs, traditional attire, dances, music, local cuisine, and other practices that are inherited from generation to generation. Through these traditions, wedding ceremonies serve as a means to preserve and strengthen social bonds and the cultural sustainability of a community. Additionally, wedding ceremonies also have significant economic impacts. The preparations and execution of weddings involve the consumption of goods and services that contribute to local economic growth. This includes the purchase of wedding attire, food, decorations, photography, entertainment, and various other services. The increased consumption stimulates sectors related to weddings, creating job opportunities and increasing government revenue through taxes and related levies. Abstract

This study investigates the hidden ideologies within HMI MPO's "Khittah Perjuangan" by employing Eco-critical Discourse Analysis, a blend of Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis and Stibbe's ecolinguistics. The research aims to uncover how HMI MPO perceives the human-nature relationship and evaluates these perceptions through an ecological lens. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the study involves three stages: data collection, critical discourse analysis, and ecolinguistic analysis. Key findings include the portrayal of humans as "khalifah" (stewards) responsible for environmental stewardship, and the concept of "sunnatullah" (natural laws) advocating for harmony with ecological systems. However, the use of exploitative language, such as "dominating nature," indicates a potential shift towards a destructive discourse. The study reveals that while HMI MPO promotes beneficial narratives emphasizing sustainability and respect for nature, there are ambivalent elements that require careful interpretation to avoid justifying environmental exploitation. By critically assessing the ecological discourses within "Khittah Perjuangan," the research highlights the importance of aligning organizational ideologies with sustainable practices and the potential role of HMI MPO in fostering ecological awareness and action.Keywords: HMI MPO, khittah Perjuangan, ideology, human-nature, eco-critical discourse

Abstract

Transkulturasi budaya asing menjadikan generasi muda Islam lupa akan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya sebagai Khalifah di bumi ini. Dalam perspektif Prof. Sukiman, perlunya integrasi antara Tauhid dengan aspek lainnya guna menjaga keseimbangan dan kedinamisan karena antara Tauhid dan kehidupan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan makna tauhid yang menjadi landasan pokok didalam kehidupan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa Implementasi Tauhid dalam landasan berpikir termanifestasi dalam tiga bentuk relasi, yaitu relasi antara manusia dengan Tuhannya, relasi manusia dengan manusia lainnya dan relasi antara manusia dengan alam sekitarnya. Implikasi terhadap implementasi tauhid termanifestasi dalam beberapa bentuk: pertama, relasi manusia dengan Tuhannya akan berdampak pada: Iman, taqwa, sabar, tawakal dan bersyukur. Kedua, relasi manusia dengan manusia lainnya berdampak pada: memanusiakan manusia, saling tolong menolong dan kebijaksanaan. ketiga, relasi antara manusia dengan alam sekitarnya berdampak pada: melestarikan alam dan menjaga keseimbangan alam. Adapun internalisasi termanifestasi dalam dua bentuk, yaitu kemampuan akan berpikir objektif dan kritis kemudian terbentuknya kesalehan individu dan kesalehan sosial.

Abstract

Abstrak Spektrum glorifikasi era post-truth antara modernitas dan globalisasi kian berkembang menggiring nalar maupun opini dalam segala lingkup kehidupan masyarakat. Salah satu budaya yang tumbuh beriringan dengan berkembangnya teknologi adalah pop culture (budaya pop). Melalui media massa sebagai representasi pop culture di era post-truth yang tidak tidak memiliki landasan teoritis yang jelas dan mengedepankan emosi serta keyakinan personal dibandingkan dengan bukti objektif,  kemudian memunculkan tendensi tren ritual pra-pernikahan sebagai pergulatan identitas atau eksistensi diri pada masyarakat. Diskursus mengenai ritual pra-pernikahan ini, fokus kajiannya adalah bagaimana eksistensi pop culture dalam ritual pra-perkawinan, sekaligus bagaimana ritual pra-perkawinan di era pos-truth.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian  field research dan bersifat kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan filosofis. Metode library research digunakan untuk mengatahui pergulatan eksistensi pop culture dalam ritual pra-pernikahan di era post-truth.Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ritual pra-pernikahan merupakan produk dari pop culture sebagai tren terkini. Secara konsensus berkaitan dengan representasi eksistensi diri, memiliki relasi dengan media sosial, menjadikan masyarakat konsumtif, dan hanya untuk keuntungan komoditas. Selain itu, ritual pra-pernikahan sebagai ritual eksistensi yang muncul karena pengaruh masifnya media masa dan teknologi, maka ritual tersebut sebagai produk dari pop culture di era post-truth.Kata kunci: Pop Culture, Ritual Pra-pernikahan, Post Truth.

Kegiatan tahunan haul menunjukkan bahwa tradisi haul memiliki dampak positif dalam memperkuat kehidupan sosial dan keagamaan masyarakat.

Abstract

Tradisi takbir keliling di Pondok Pesantren Krapyak Yayasan Ali Maksum menjadi sebuah rutinitas tiap tahun di bulan Zulhijjah. Pada kegiatannya peserta memakai beragam busana menarik dengan membawa unsur keislaman dan kebudayaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam busana yang dipakai, karena tiap busana yang dipakai dari tiap kelompok peserta memiliki pesan-pesan yang hendak disampaikan kepada penonton atau yang menilai. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka yang merujuk pada sumber yang terkait dengan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa busana yang dipakai oleh masing-masing peserta memiliki makna yang terkadung. Seperti, Busana Muslim menggambarkan bahwa Santri sosok yang terlindungi dari segala kejahatan, busana batik menggambarkan keberagaman Santri baik ras, suku, budaya, visi, dan misi. Busana surjan melambangan keeleganan tidak semua Orang bisa menjadi Santri tapi semua mempunyai kesempatan menjadi Santri. Busana Umaro’ menggambarkan bahwa Santri merupakan sosok pemimpin masa depan. Busana jarik menggambarkan Santri merupakan sosok yang rendah hati jauh dari sikap sombong.
