This study aims to analyze the role of farmer groups on maize productivity in Gerung District, West Lombok Regency. This research is descriptive research which was conducted in Mesanggok Village, Gapuk and Suka Makmur Village, Gerung District, West Lombok Regency, using a proportional sampling based on the widest corn crop area, using a sample of 78 farmers, determined by proportional random sampling. The data uses a score based on the Likert scale, then analyzed using Chi- Square (X2) analysis. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that statistically the participation of farmers in farmer group members has a role in corn productivity, but is not significant. This is indicated by the results of X2 Count (1.94) < X2 table (9.49), the participation of farmers in farmer group members does not play a significant role in productivity due to internal factors, namely the ownership of farming capital which is still lacking, so that the purchase of production facilities such as fertilizers which is lacking and has an impact on corn production that is not optimal and also due to external factors such as uncertain natural factors, such as rain falling on the flowering process as a result many corn plant flowers fall out.

Abstract

Lelede Market is one of the markets in Cakranegara Mataram City which has high activity, the location of the market which is on the side of the road causes market visitors to use the shoulder of the road as a parking lot, and the high side barriers as a result of market activity causes vehicle speed to be low, so the travel time for taking the road is getting bigger. The purpose of this study was to determine the side resistance, speed and degree of saturation on the Ismail Marzuki road section and also to determine the effect of side resistance on the speed and degree of saturation using MKJI 1997.The results of the analysis on the Ismail Marzuki road when market activity has side resistance, speed and degree of saturation, respectively, are 1086.7 events/hour, 29.69 km/hour and 0.72. When there is no side drag market activity, the speed and degree of saturation are 794.2 events/hour, 33.28 km/hour and 0.43 respectively. The effect of side resistance on speed is 0.999 and the degree of saturation is 0.969 during market activity. When there is no market activity, side barriers affect the speed and degree of saturation by 0.979 and 0.975. So that the higher the value of the side resistance, the lower the speed, while the higher the value of the side resistance, the higher the degree of saturation.

Abstract

Plastic take hundreds to thousands of years to decompose. During this time, plastic has created serious problems for the environment. Once plastic waste is left in the environment, it will be exposed to natural elements, such as solar radiation, wind, or rain. In turn, the plastic will break down over time until the are invisible. In general, the plastic decomposition process takes place very slowly and takes hundreds of year for the      plastic to be degraded into microplastics (MP) and nanoplastics (NP) through various physical, chemical and biological processes. MP is defined as small pastic particles measuring < 5 mm  and having a very large negative impact on the environment. MP can be found anywhere, even in the deepest seas of the Earth. But in reality MP is all around us and so dangerous. The problem of environmental damage due to waste is always interesting to discuss and has also become a global issue and the magnitude of the impact caused by plastic has become a serious problem that can’t be ignored. Plastic which was originally a useful and versatile object has now turned into a threat to the survival mandkind
