Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) method on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 34 Baringin Singgalang in PAI learning. The type of research is Pre-Experimental Design, namely the One-Group Pretest-Posttest design section. The population in this study were all fifth grade students at SDN 34 Baringin Singgalang as many as 24 students. The samples used in this study were all of class V. The sampling technique was non-probability sampling, this technique consisted of various techniques including saturated sampling. The research instrument used multiple choice test items, which totaled 30 items. The collected data is processed using descriptive statistical analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis testing with the help of the SPSS 16.0 application for windows. Based on the output results of SPSS 16 on the hypothesis test using the Paired sample t test which was carried out on student learning outcomes data showed higher posttest results. This result is proven.

Abstract

21st century learning is required to always be able to adapt to the times and apply 4C abilities. But in fact, the learning process tends to be still teacher-centered, the learning media used are also still not varied and students have not used 4C abilities in learning. This causes students to be passive, monotonous, and bored. The innovation of learning media based on Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) is expected to be able to increase students' 4C abilities and learning motivation. Viruses are material that is difficult for students to understand, because many foreign terms are used. The purpose of this study was to analyze the need to develop learning media based on Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) on Virus material. The method used is descriptive research and literature study. Types of data collection from the results of observations of the distribution of questionnaires to students and teachers as well as the results of the Student Daily Assessment. Based on the results of observations made 100% of teachers agree in the development of biology learning media based on Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI). A total of 68% of students are happy to carry out discussion activities in biology learning and 61.11% of students are happy to investigate a problem in biology material. The development of ADI-based biology learning media is one of the alternative media in the learning process in the 21st century as teaching materials, practical and technological developments in accordance with the demands of the times. ADI-based learning media will increase students' ability to communicate, collaborate, and critical thinking.

Abstract

The purpose of the research in this preliminary study is to (1) know the speaking skills of class IV in MIS Istiqomah Al-Ulya Payageli (School, (2) find out the factors that affect the speaking skills of class IV, (3) find out solutions to improve the speaking skills of fourth grade students. The method in this research is descriptive with the type of case study research. The analysis techniques used in this study are qualitative and quantitative. Timing of data collection begins on Juny 20, 2023 until completion. The subjects in this preliminary study were 23 students in grade IV and 1 in class IV in MIS Istiqomah Al-Ulya Payageli. The observations showed that it was difficult for students to convey verbally about stories that had been known before, the implementation of the learning method was not in accordance with the material being studied. The test results state that 3 students get grades above the KKM out of a total of 23 grade IV students, with the KKM determined by the school that is 70, the data shows that there are 20 students who score below the KKM so that the average value of students is 62. Drawing conclusions in the preliminary study this can be said that the learning methods applied to Indonesian language learning are not appropriate so that students' speaking skills have not been maximally achieved.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of parents in activate student's internal motivation to do obligatory prayers in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 57 Air Dingin Koto Tangah, and describe about how the role of parents is so that children have eksternal motivation towards the habit to do prayer for fifth grade students SD Negeri 57 Air Dingin Koto Tangah. This research uses qualitative methods, namely research that describes and analyzes an event, phenomenon, social activity, and thoughts that describe to draw conclusions. The research's type is case study. That is where a researcher conducts an in-depth exploration of programs, events, processes, activities, against one or more people. The research results based on observations, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation show that the role of parents has a very influential impact on guiding their children to become obedient human beings in carrying out their duty as a Muslim, being grateful, and thanking to Allah Ta'ala.

Abstract

The talqin method is a method of memorizing the Koran by the teacher exemplifying verses or dictating verses to students, the students repeat what the teacher exemplifies. Of the 51 grade 3 students, most of them could not read the Koran, the average student was still at the iqra reading stage, therefore the teacher applied the talqin method to make it easier for students to memorize the Koran. This study aims to determine the implementation of the talqin method in memorizing the Koran at SD Negeri 19 Luhak Nan Duo, West Pasaman Regency, its supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as the form of evaluation of the talqin method in memorizing the Koran. This research includes qualitative research with a descriptive approach. the data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that the implementation of the talqin method in memorizing the Koran at 19 Luhak Nan Duo Elementary School, West Pasaman Regency, went through three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. First, the planning for the talqin method has been made by the school which includes a schedule of tahfidz activities for each class and the tahfidz supervising teacher makes a postcard, a list of attendees. And the assessment criteria are makhrijul letters, fluency, and tajwid. The supporting factors for the application of the talqin method are motivation from teachers, parents, friends, and using murattal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the joyful learning model with interactive power point media on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 193 Pekanbaru. This study used a quasi-experimental type with nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of 2 classes using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The sample in this study is the VB class as the experimental class and the VA class as the control class. The hypothesis test in this study uses the t-test at a significance level of 5% with the calculation t_count 6.73 > t_table -1.67 this means t_count > t_table which means that H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the joyful learning model with interactive power point media on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 193 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The multidimensional crisis that is currently happening to the Indonesian state, if we look for the causes of the problem, comes from weak development of the nation and character which causes moral and moral shifts for the nation's successors such as becoming perpetrators of physical and psychological violence. This study aims to describe the Islamic character of students at Sekolah Sahabat Alam Palangka Raya and to describe the formation of Islamic character in students through religious culture at Sekolah Sahabat Alam Palangka Raya. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that: 1) the character of the students at Sekolah Sahabat Alam Palangka Raya can be said to have good Islamic character. This can be seen from their independent attitude which spontaneously applies religious habituation activities in behaving so that they are well organized without any encouragement or coercion. 2) the formation of the Islamic character of students through religious culture at Sekolah Sahabat Alam Palangka Raya, namely when reciting the Koran, traveling around nature, camping and exploring the environment around the school, praying dhuha in congregation, shaking hands and greeting teachers and students and teachers of the opposite sex do not shake hands directly . In addition, love the environment by disposing of trash in its place.

Abstract

Gender-based violence known as “domestic violence” refers to acts committed by people who are well known to the victim, are close to the victim, or live in the same house as the victim. Examples of domestic violence include acts committed by husbands against wives, fathers against children, and uncles against nephews, and so on. Domestic Violence can occur due to many factors that trigger it, for example, patriarchal culture and the nusyuz of a wife towards her husband which results in debates and even commits domestic violence. In the Qur'an the surah that discusses this case is surah An-Nisa' verse 34 which contains ways to deal with an nusyuz wife and a leadership position in the household. But even so in the Qur'an it is absolutely not justified to commit violence against a wife who is nusyuz. Whatever the form of violence and its causes, it is the duty and responsibility of all family members to continue to create a harmonious atmosphere in the household. Because tests and obstacles will always come in a relationship to test whether the relationship is appropriate or not to get to the heaven of Allah SWT.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the teachers’ technique in teaching speaking and how did the teacher apply during the classroom at SMAN 1 Kinali Academic Year 2021/2022. Researcher found problems related to teacher and students. The first problem was that teacher used the same variety technique to teach speaking in class. Second problem was the students become surfeited in the classroom. The third problem was controlling the class with several students’ character. From the phenomenon above, the researcher wanted to analyze what types of teachers’ technique in teaching speaking and how to apply the technique in teaching speaking.This research was qualitative descriptive study. Researcher conducted this research at SMAN 1 Kinali. The informant of this research was the English teacher SMAN 1 Kinali. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and observations checklist. Based on the findings of this study, it was found that there were four types of techniques of teaching speaking, namely: Pair and group technique, Drilling technique, Jigsaw technique, Simulation technique. In learning process during speaking material, the teacher used the same technique and students became surfeite in learning so it was necessary to know what were the techniques that used by the teacher in the learning process. The teacher has implemented principles of techniques in teaching speaking and how to apply teaching speaking at SMAN 1 Kinali. The techniques that used by the teacher was effective and motivating students. The researcher also found out why the teacher used variety techniques in teaching speaking to make students fluent, become active and build their self-confidence, and to master speaking skill as well. By using techniques in teaching speaking, it motivated students to speak and to help students improving their speaking ability.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the current reality in which there are many negligence among teenagers in carrying out prayer services. Therefore, schools must have the habit of praying in congregation, so that the younger generation instills good habits from an early age. This study focused on the teacher's strategy in instilling the discipline of the congregational midday prayer at Pertiwi 1 Padang High School with the following problem formulation: 1) The teacher's strategy in instilling the discipline of the congregational midday prayer in Pertiwi 1 Padang High School students 2) Supporting factors and inhibiting factors of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing the discipline of students in carrying out congregational prayers. To achieve this goal using qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The teacher's strategy is to provide positive reinforcement by giving value as a form of appreciation in the discipline of congregational prayers and also giving punishment to students who are not disciplined in carrying out congregational midday prayers (2) Supporting factors for teachers in disciplining midday prayers in congregation, namely the existence of a mosque near the school and the existence of school policies. And the inhibiting factors for Islamic Religious Education teachers in disciplining congregational midday prayers are inadequate facilities and infrastructure and a lack of awareness of students to carry out congregational midday prayers.
