There are various methods to improve vehicle performance, including by blending fuels. In addition to bioethanol that can increase octane rating, there is the use of additives in vehicle fuels that are known to increase octane rating. With the addition of additives such as octane boosters and bioethanol, it is expected to increase the degree of ignition, reduce knocking, achieve more complete combustion, and automatically increase vehicle power.This study aims to analyze the power and torque of a four-stroke motorcycle by considering the addition of bioethanol and octane boosters to Pertamax fuel. Experimental method was used with variation of bioethanol concentration and octane booster in fuel as test parameters. This study provides insight into the potential for power improvement in the use of Pertamax fuel on four-stroke motorcycles through the addition of bioethanol and octane booster. The implications of these findings can serve as a basis for the development of more efficient and sustainable fuels for four-stroke motorcycles.

The development of the automotive industry is now experiencing a very rapid increase type of motorcycle. One of them is a motorcycle with a transmission with DC ignition. Motorcycle users often experience a lack of performance when used in daily travel. Coil input voltage and spark plug type are the main factors for the lack of performance of the motorcycle, which is less efficient for its users. efficient for its users. The method used in this research is experimentation. Testing conducted using a dynotest tool to find out the comparison of the results of the variables carried out and compared to get the maximum power and torque. The data obtained will be analyzed using statistical methods to eval__uate the relationship between variations in voltage and spark plug type to power and torque. The results of this study showed that the maximum power was obtained from a standard spark plug of spark plug at 8.30 HP at a voltage of 13.5V, the maximum power of iridium spark plugs, spark plugs amounted to 8.57HP at a voltage of 13.5V, and the maximum power of the double iridium spark plugs spark plugs amounted to 8.33HP at a voltage of 13.5V. from the three variations of spark plugs at above the maximum power is obtained at a voltage of 13.5V, and the weakest power is obtained at a voltage of 12V at a voltage of 12V.

This research was motivated by the discovery that self-harm was a very urgent phenomenon among teenagers. Many factors influence someone to do self-harm, one of which is loneliness. Further research was conducted regarding the relationship between loneliness and self-harm in junior high school students. The aims of this research are: (1) to describe the level of loneliness; (2) describe self-harm actions towards students; (3) examine the relationship between loneliness and self-harm in junior high school students in the city of Padang. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The sample in this research was 35 junior high school students in Padang City who were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained using loneliness instruments and the SHI-Indonesian version which are valid and reliable. Data processing is carried out using the product moment correlation formula. The results of the research show that loneliness in junior high school X students is in the moderate category (46.88%), self-harm actions in junior high school.

This research is motivated by the phenomenon where students cannot control themselves, such as getting into fights because of their lack of self-control, skipping classes, smoking because their friends do too and following the negative things their friends do. This research aims to describe the factors that cause students' low self-control and ensure that they receive guidance and counseling services. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The population of this study was 667 students of SMA N 1 Ampek Angkek who were registered in the 2023/2024 academic year, the research sample was 158 students. Sample selection used purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a self-control scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive techniques. The research results show that the factors that cause students' overall low self-control are in the high category. Based on the indicators, the cause is age factor at 51%, cognitive factor at 55%, cultural factor at 42%, situation at 46% in the medium category. The cause of personality factors is 43%, experience is 35%, family environment is 43% in the high category. The cause of the role of parents is 34% in the very high category. Guidance and counseling services are provided to students whose factors causing low self-control are in the high and very high categories, namely personality factors, experience, family environment and the role of parents. Services can be provided by guidance and counseling teachers to reduce the factors that cause students' low self-control through information services, content mastery services, group guidance services and individual counseling to increase students' self-control.

This study aims to describe: (1) the target accuracy of the reading stall program at TBM Tanah Ombak; (2) the socialization of the reading stall program at TBM Tanah Ombak; (3) the objectives of the reading stall program at TBM Tanah Ombak; (4) the monitoring of the reading stall program at TBM Tanah Ombak; (5) children's reading interest in the Purus area of Padang City; (6) the effectiveness of the reading stall at TBM Tanah Ombak on children's reading interest in the Purus area of Padang City. The sample in this study consisted of 100 children. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, interviews, and literature studies. Based on the research results, it was found that: (1) the target accuracy of the reading stall program at TBM Tanah Ombak is in the excellent category with an average score of 3.67, indicating that children's reading interest increased with the presence of the Tanah Ombak reading stall; (2) the socialization of the Tanah Ombak Reading Stall program is in the good category with an average score of 3.14, which can be seen from the number of children coming to the Tanah Ombak Reading Stall; (3) the objectives of the Tanah Ombak Reading Stall program are in the excellent category with an average score of 3.57, indicating that the program's benefits are felt by the children; (4) the monitoring of the Tanah Ombak Reading Stall program is in the good category with an average score of 3.20, showing that the program has achieved its set goals and is still ongoing; (5) children's reading interest in the Purus area of Padang City is in the excellent category with the presence of the Tanah Ombak Reading Stall, with an average score of 3.60, which is evident from the number of children who enjoy reading and regularly visit the reading stall to participate in literacy activities; (6) the effectiveness of the Tanah Ombak Reading Stall on children's reading interest in the Purus area of Padang City is in the excellent category with an average score of 3.40, indicating that the Tanah Ombak Reading Stall is effective in increasing children's reading interest in the Purus area of Padang City.

Secondary metabolites are compounds synthesized by plants, microbes, or animals through biosynthesis that are used to support life. The content of secondary metabolites in plants is often used as traditional medicine. In this research, samples of wuluh starfruit leaves (Averrhoa blimbi L.) were used as traditional medicine to treat coughs, diabetes, and others. The purpose of this study is to determine the secondary metabolite content in wuluh starfruit leaves (A. Blimbi L.) in Koto Tengah district through maceration, phytochemical, and thin layer chromatography methods. This research was carried out through a sample preparation process, maceration using methanol as a solvent, phytochemical tests to test the content of alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, and polyphenols/tannins by looking at the color change in the sample, and confirmation through thin layer chromatography by looking at the color and Rf value. The secondary metabolite test revealed that belimbing wuluh leaves were positive for tannins, flavonoids, alkaloids, and saponins.

Biodiesel B30 is a blend of 70% conventional diesel fuel and 30% biodiesel, increasingly used as an environmentally friendly alternative. However, to enhance fuel performance and efficiency, the addition of additives such as 2-EHN (2-Ethylhexyl Nitrate) and oleic acid needs further study. This research aims to eval_uate the impact of these additives on diesel engine fuel consumption. The study uses an experimental method to explore the cause-and-effect relationship between independent and dependent variables with a quantitative approach. Collected data is analyzed using statistical techniques to measure and eval_uate the significance and strength of relationships between variables. Through experimental methods and statistical analysis, this research aims to provide a deeper and more scientific understanding of the phenomena being studied. The graph shows that fuel consumption increases with RPM. Oleic acid increases fuel consumption at both low and high RPMs. In contrast, 2-EHN reduces fuel consumption, especially at high RPMs. Overall, 2-EHN is more efficient than oleic acid in improving the performance of B30 biodiesel. The addition of 2-EHN to biosolar fuel reduces fuel consumption, particularly at high RPMs. B30 blends with 0.5% and 1% 2-EHN show better efficiency compared to blends without additives or with oleic acid. Conversely, adding oleic acid increases fuel consumption, especially at high RPMs, indicating lower efficiency.

The purpose of this study is to identify changes in the surface temperature of Land Lurface Temperature (LST) in Padang City in 2018 and 2023 and analyze the influence of Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) air pollution in Padang City in 2018 and 2023. The data used in this study are Landsat OLI 8 satellite imagery and Sentinel 5P satellite image data analyzed using Geographic Information System technology. The results show that in 2018 the highest temperature reached 33°C and in 2023 the highest temperature was 28°C, then the effect of CO on LST in 2018 was significantly related to the value of the determination coefficient of (R2 = 64,9 ), and the influence of NO2 was weakly related to the value (R2 = 16,3). In 2023, the effect of CO on LST is weakly related to the value (R2 = 2) and NO2 on LST is also weakly related (R2 = 5,1). The results showed that there was a trend of changes in LST and its relationship to air pollution but showed a not very strong relationship.

Fuel plays an important role in vehicle performance, and octane rating is one of the main factors. One innovation is to blend the fuel with additives such as bioethanol that can increase octane and reduce emissions of pollutants such as CO, CO2, HC, and NOx. This study examines the use of an affordable and readily available blend of bioethanol and camphor as an alternative fuel. In addition, this study also aims to determine the most effective blend variation to reduce exhaust emissions. This study uses an experimental method by manipulating one or more independent variables and measuring their effect on the dependent variable. The independent variables in this study are 10%, 15%, and 20% bioethanol mixture and camphor 5 grams, 10 grams, and 15 grams in Pertamax. As for the dependent variable is the exhaust gas content with variations in engine speed of 1500, 3000, and 4500 rpm. The study data were then presented in tabular form and analyzed using the two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA Two Way) method along with the data graph. The results showed a decrease in CO levels by 19.51% at 1500 RPM and 84.13% at 3000 RPM and a decrease in HC by 37.44% at 1500 RPM and 48.68% at 4500 RPM.

This study aims to describe self-efficacy and academic dishonesty among students in the X program cohort of 2021-2023, and to identify the relationship between self-efficacy and academic dishonesty in these students. The research is a descriptive correlational quantitative study. The sample consists of 216 students from the X program cohort of 2021-2023, selected using the incidental sampling method. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires on self-efficacy and academic dishonesty among the students. The collected data were analyzed using statistical analysis techniques and tested with the Spearman's rho correlation formula. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The level of self-efficacy in the X program cohort of 2021-2023 is in the very low category, with a percentage of 75.93%. (2) The level of academic dishonesty in the X program cohort of 2021-2023 is in the very high category, with a percentage of 41.20%. (3) Correlation analysis shows a significant and negative relationship between self-efficacy (variable X) and academic dishonesty (variable Y) among students in the X program cohort of 2021-2023, with a correlation coefficient (r) of -.775 and a significance level of 0.000.
