Abstract

The urgency of digital literacy in the era of information disruption is related to the critical thinking skills of government employees, especially the Library and Archives Office of North Sulawesi Province. The development of information technology has been implemented, but it has not run optimally, due to the skills gab which is a crucial issue in accelerating digital transformation, knowledge is an obstacle. The obstacles include dimensions that have not been fulfilled in terms of digital skills, digital safety, digital ethics and digital culture. The research method used is qualitative with proposive sampling technique and data collection using observation, literature study and interviews. The results showed that digital literacy to use, understand and utilize digital technology, used as a measuring tool for the extent to which a person's competence and ability to adapt to current technological developments is not optimal and maximum, because human resources have not been able to implement digital literacy properly in carrying out work duties, lack of digital skills and knowledge, especially operating hardware devices and software devices. The utilization of digital tools with technology integration still uses a conventional system so that the implementation of work, fast and precise in terms of effectiveness, efficiency has not run optimally. Digital ethics is used by the government to be responsible for the data collected and clear consent, limiting the use of data for agreed purposes. Digital safety implementation is quite good, but there is a need for socialization to employees regarding the understanding of digital literacy and the importance of digital safety, especially malware or software. Need to understand the regulations and legal framework references used.

Abstract

Mountain climbing is gaining popularity, but high risks arise from inadequate preparation and information. Climbers often face limited access to crucial details like verified routes, real-time weather, essential equipment, and structured educational resources. To address this, Merbabuku, a web-based platform, was developed to help climbers plan their trips more efficiently, safely, and informatively. This research focused on designing and developing Merbabuku with features such as verified route information, official weather forecasts (BMKG), climbing tips, equipment checklists, and a community forum. Utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model, encompassing analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation, the platform was built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. Functional tests confirmed all features worked as intended, and a user satisfaction survey of 50 respondents showed 92% found Merbabuku highly beneficial for planning and gaining insights into safety and ethics. Merbabuku aims to be a digital innovation that not only streamlines information access but also elevates awareness and education on climbing safety and environmental preservation.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven transformation in various aspects of life, including in the practice of digital donations. However, there are still many challenges related to ease of access, transparency, and accountability in the online donation process. This research aims to design and implement a web-based digital donation information system called AmalNow, which serves as a platform connecting donors, administrators, and donation coordinators. The research method used is a software engineering approach with the Waterfall model, which includes stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed using the Laravel framework and MySQL database, with integration of the Midtrans payment gateway. The research findings indicate that AmalNow is capable of meeting functional needs such as campaign management, donation transactions, real-time reporting, as well as supporting non-functional needs such as security, efficiency, and ease of use. With the support of a structured system architecture and an intuitive user interface, this application is expected to be a reliable and effective digital donation solution in enhancing social participation in the community.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based sales information system for the Furnie application using a perpetual inventory recording method. The system is built using the Waterfall approach and technologies such as PHP, MySQL, and Laravel. The main goal is to improve transaction recording efficiency, inventory data accuracy, and support a more structured and responsive business process. The implementation results indicate that the system effectively facilitates product and order management, as well as automated reporting through a user-friendly interface. It also supports third-party service integration, notifications, and promotional features, contributing to enhanced user satisfaction. This approach positions Furnie as a suitable digital solution for modernizing furniture store operations in a more efficient and adaptive way.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of seminar exam scheduling at UIN Alauddin Makassar through the development of the DZIKR (Exam Schedule Notification System) application. The problem addressed is the lack of coordination and the potential for miscommunication arising from the manual process of disseminating schedules to lecturers. As a solution, this study developed a web-based exam reminder system integrated with a WhatsApp chatbot to deliver real-time notifications. The methodology involved system development and quantitative analysis to measure its impact. The findings show that the implementation of the DZIKR system significantly improved scheduling efficiency, achieving a rate of 94.5%. However, its effectiveness was recorded at a lower rate of 5.36%. This discrepancy is attributed to the passive nature of the notifications, as the system functions only as a one-way information dispatcher without requiring further user interaction. Nevertheless, it is concluded that the DZIKR system serves as an effective reminder tool that enhances lecturers' awareness of the established schedules. The system has proven successful in addressing the efficiency issue; however, further development is required to incorporate interactive features to boost its overall effectiveness.

Abstract

Improving access to higher education through the KIP-Kuliah scholarship program faces challenges in the selection process, particularly in determining recipients efficiently and objectively amid evolving policies and socioeconomic conditions. At UIN Alauddin Makassar, the selection process for 2,380 applicants in 2024 resulted in a heavy administrative burden on the Student Affairs Bureau, with final decisions made at the rectorate level. This study aims to develop a decision support system based on the Naive Bayes algorithm to assist in the computerized classification of scholarship eligibility. The model was trained using 350 data entries and tested on 150 entries, achieving an accuracy rate of 96.67%, indicating strong classification performance. The confusion matrix showed 145 correct predictions out of 150 test data, with precision, recall, and F1-score values all above 0.95. The system facilitates automated data management and eligibility prediction, reducing process complexity and accelerating decision-making. Black-box testing confirmed that the system functions according to specifications, suggesting that the implementation of the Naive Bayes algorithm can enhance the scholarship selection process to be more accurate, efficient, and fair—particularly for students from underprivileged backgrounds.

Abstract

The design of a web-based information system addresses issues in proxy shopping services (jastip), which are often conducted manually via social media and prone to fraud. This study introduces Titipgo, a platform enabling secure, efficient, and structured transactions. The methodology includes PIECES analysis to identify system weaknesses and UML modeling (use case and activity diagrams) for design. The system supports four roles: admin, proxy shopper (jastiper), buyer, and owner, with core features like account management, product catalog, order tracking, payment processing, and reviews. A responsive UI was prototyped in Figma, tailored for each user role. Results confirm Titipgo enhances professionalism and trust in proxy shopping operations. This system sets a foundation for improving security and efficiency in collaborative e-business.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a website-based digital invitation ordering information system that is integrated with WhatsApp services. This system was developed as a solution to the need for efficiency in the process of ordering and distributing invitations that are environmentally friendly. The system design uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach to visualize the overall system requirements. The main features developed include invitation ordering, design catalog selection, user and admin account management, and automatic notification via WhatsApp. This system is expected to increase the effectiveness and efficiency in managing orders by the admin, as well as provide convenience for customers in placing orders quickly, accurately, and flexibly. The test results show that this system can run well and meet user needs. With this system, the process of ordering and distributing invitations becomes more practical, modern, and in accordance with the development of digital technology today.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology encourage Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to integrate digital platforms in order to expand the reach of product marketing. This digital transformation provides a great opportunity for MSMEs to reach a wider range of consumers, both in the national and international markets. By utilizing technology, MSMEs can increase marketing effectiveness, speed up transactions, and strengthen brand image. However, the main challenge faced is the low level of consumer confidence in the authenticity, quality, and legality of local products. The number of counterfeit products in the online market and the lack of verified information are serious obstacles that can reduce the competitiveness of MSMEs in the midst of global competition. This research aims to design and develop an e-commerce platform called "Lokanara", which is specifically designed to support MSMEs in marketing local products safely, efficiently, and verified. The Lokanara system is equipped with a QR Code-based product verification feature, allowing consumers to check the authenticity of products quickly and accurately. In addition, user authentication is carried out using the Session Based Authentication method to ensure the security of data and transactions. The platform is also integrated with the Midtrans payment gateway, which supports various digital payment methods with a high level of security and ease of transaction processing. The system development methodology includes analyzing user needs, designing system schemas using Unified Modeling Language (UML), to the implementation stage on web-based platforms. The testing process is carried out using the black box testing method to ensure that all features function according to specifications. The test results show that Lokanara is able to increase the transparency of product information, build consumer trust, and help MSMEs maintain the credibility and competitiveness of local products. With these innovative features, Lokanara has the potential to become a trusted and inclusive e-commerce solution that drives the growth of the digital commerce ecosystem in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to develop MotoPart, an online marketplace application specifically designed to meet the demand for motorcycle spare parts in Indonesia. The background to the development of this application is the high demand for motorcycle spare parts along with the increasing number of two-wheeled vehicles, as well as various problems still frequently encountered in conventional distribution systems. These problems include limited access to genuine products, inefficiencies in the transaction process, and limited information regarding product availability. MotoPart was developed with the main goal of facilitating digital spare part buying and selling transactions that are easier, safer, and more efficient, as well as building an active, trusted, and integrated automotive ecosystem. In this research, a comprehensive system requirements analysis was conducted, covering functional requirements such as user registration and authentication, product management by sellers, a product search and filter system, a shopping cart feature, digital payments, delivery services, a user review system, notifications, transaction management, and an admin panel for monitoring. Meanwhile, non-functional requirements were also outlined to ensure system performance and reliability, including the required hardware and software specifications. The system design was carried out using a Data Flow Diagram (DFD) approach, starting from the context diagram to level 1 to illustrate the data flow and processes that occur. Furthermore, the database design was designed in detail with tables such as users, products, orders, and order items, to support systematic data management. With the development of MotoPart, it is hoped that it can provide solutions to obstacles in spare parts distribution, guarantee product authenticity, and become part of the digital transformation in the Indonesian automotive sector.
