Abstract

Abstract Kriging is a geostatistical method to predict a spacial object with unknown value based on another spacial object with known value. Kriging becomes semivariogram model to achieve optimum prediction by using the influence of spacial correlation. Counting rate of rainfall in forecast was one of the special problem in geostatistic. During its measurement, Meteorological Climatological Geophysical Agency (BMKG) was having financial and post obstacles that some districts did not have the rainfall observation center. That condition blocks kriging method in counting the rate on that area. One of the Kriging method used was ordinary kriging conducted for stationary data without outlier to produce a BLUE (Best Linier Unbiased Estimator) prediction. The aim of this research is to predict Padang city rate of rainfall on June 2018 within each district and subsdistrict. Keywords Kriging, Semivariogram, Rainfall.

Abstract

The last survivor status of term life insurance is multiple life insurance whose benefits are paid by the insurance company to the heirs if all policyholders have died within a predetermined period of time. The risk of death of a married couple is usually assumed to be independent of each other. But in fact there is a relationship between the risk of death for the couple. The method that can be used to determine the premium for married couples with the assumption of independence is the GFGM-Type II Copula method. The purpose of this study is to determine the formulation of the last survivor term life insurance premium using the GFGM-Type II Copula method. The results obtained from this study are the formulation of the last survivor term life insurance premium using the GFGM-Type II Copula method. Based on the simulation results, it is concluded that the last survivor term life insurance premium calculated with the assumption of independence is smaller than using GFGM-Type II copula Copula.

Abstract

Product distribution issues are common to happen in a business company. From many factors in a company to maximize profits, one of them is the ability to deliver products on time at the minimum cost in transportation. PT. Ciomas Adisatwa Padang distributes their products in the area of the depot and spends a lot of money. If the transportation costs are too much the company will earn small profits. Transportation method to solve problems that involve minimizing transportation costs or product delivery from source to destination is Total Opportunity Cost Matrix-Sum as initial feasible solution and Stepping Stone as an optimization test that is useful for determining the results of optimizing transportation costs and the number of product shipments from each warehouse to destination. The result is carried out using secondary data recorded from the PT. Ciomas Adisatwa Padang in July 2021 in applied research. The initial method of Total Opportunity Cost Matrix-Sum Approach gave Rp. 8.677.366, which was then followed by the Stepping Stone method, which gave Rp. 8.030 974. As a result, the company can save 21% of the total cost on transportation costs in advance.

Abstract

Abstract– Rainfall is one of the natural phenomena that always changes from one condition to another. If rainfall occurs with high intensity, it can result in natural disasters. One area in West Sumatra that receives high-intensity rainfall is Padang. In this research the Markov chain method is used to determine the results of rainfall analysis for the future. This study is an applied research using secondary data, namely dasarian rainfall data obtained from BMKG Padang Pariaman. For the future it is predicted that areas that have rainfall tend to be high (Water Plan Semen Padang), areas that have rainfall tend to be medium (Bandar Buat, Limau Manih-UNAND, Lubuk Minturun, Muara Palam-Parak Karakah, Nanggalo, Tambang Semen Padang, dan Teluk Bayur) and the probability for rainfall that falls for Padang tends to be medium. Keywords– Markov Chain, Matrix Transition Probability, Rainfall.

Abstract

Abstract –  Scheduling problem can be modeled by using linear integer programming and completed using the column generation method. Column generation methods taking sub-set of the set of large columns to be resolved. This new column is generated when variables corresponding to that column potentially optimize the purpose function. The purpose of this research is to model integer program for scheduling, forming process with column generation approach, and get optimization result from scheduling. This research is the oretical research. Which is a literature study based on the relevant sources. Based on the result, obtained model scheduling problem in the form of linear integer program, the scheduling model is processed by the column generation method, that is Master Problem formation, Restricted Master Problem, then RMP is formed dual so tested using pricing problem until got optimal result. The method was applied to the sample in order to get the most optimal schedule.

Abstract

Abstract— Generally, payment is made after the buyer receives the goods from the seller. At this time the development of the business world in Indonesia is increasingly rapid and various innovations have emerged, such as sellers will offer a delay in payments to buyers to complete transactions. This also applies to buyers to apply trade credit to their customers as a tool to attract customer interest to increase demand. Thus this paper will discuss the effect of a two-tier trade credit, on the optimal order quantity of an economical retailer with permitted shortages of goods. And assume the buyer demand function increases over time. The purpose of this inventory model is to maximize profits. With this, we model it in mathematical form. We can see the effect of the parameters on the decision variable of fulfilling the backorder and two-level credit payments. Keywords—EOQ, Backorder, Two-level trade credit.

Abstract

Abstract— Project is a combination of several resources such as capital / costs, human, material and equipment in a temporary organization that aims to achieve certain goals.Estimating the duration and improper costs at this step will affect the implementation of activities and the results obtained. This researchpurpose to optimize the duration and cost of implementing the PLUT-KUMKM development project in Sumatra Barat with PERT-CPM method then followed by crashing. This research uses data on project activities, the sequence and cost of each activity. The results of this research can optimize the project implementation time with almost the same cost, from 21 weeks become 18 weeks. It means thatthe project implementation time can be accelerated by 14,3 % of the initial duration. With project implementation cost Rp.1.724.873.973,93 to Rp.1,787,703,844.13.Keywords—Project, PERT-CPM, crashing

Abstract

Abstract — Scabies is a contagious skin disease caused by an infestation of the Sarcoptes Scabie mite which can spread quickly. This disease is spread in tropical areas where the level of hygiene, sanitation, and socio-economy is low and attacks all groups regardless of sex and age. The purpose of this research is to form a mathematical model, then the model is analyzed and interpreted. Based on the asumi and parameter values, a mathematical model of the spread of scabies in animal and human populations can be formed. The model that has been formed will then be analyzed using simulation. From the analysis obtained two points of equilibrium, which disease free and disease endemic. The simulation results show that scabies disease will continue to exist in the population because the equilibrium point at the endemic disease is unstable. Keywords— endemic, mathematical model, scabies, basic reproduction number.

Abstract

Abstract –Newton-Steffensen method is one of numerical method for finding root of nonlinear equation. This method is modified method from Newton-Raphson method. The purpose of this research is to review the iteration formula, compile the algorithm, and analyze the order of convergence. This research is theoretical research. Which is a literature study based on the relevant sources. Based on the result, the algorithm applied to a computer program. The order of convergence of Newton-Steffensen method is three so the method is faster than Newton-Raphson method.

Abstract

Inventory control and planning is one of the important things to carry out production activities. To get optimal inventory control, it can be done by using lot sizing technique with Eqonomic Order Quantity and Period Order Quantity methods. The purpose of this article is to minimize inventory costs by comparing the Eqonomic Order Quantity and Period Order Quantity-based lot sizing methods based on Material Requirement Planning to obtain minimal inventory costs at the Bacarito Kopi Padang coffee shop. The Bacarito Kopi Padang coffee shop is one of the SME coffee shops that still controls inventory using conventional methods that have not yielded maximum results. This research is an applied research and the data used are data on ordering costs, storage costs, large requests and the company's Total Inventory Cost. The total value of Total Inventory Cost (TIC) which is the minimum optimal is 23,3% for coffee type raw material, 13,5% for full cream milk raw material, 31,5% for syrup type raw material and 49.1% for raw material type sweetened condensed milk by 26,2%.
