Abstract

Abstract– Consumer satisfaction is one of the important things that must be considered in the business sector. Indicators that are though to influence consumer satisfaction are product quality, service quality, price, and emotional sense. One of the statistical analysis that commonly  used in analyzing such factors is factor analysis. The data used in this research is primary data obtained from interviews by using questionnaire, where the population is comprised of all Ampera Ramah Restaurants consumers. The samples in this research are about 100 people obtained using accidental sampling methode. Based on the results of this research there are six factors that need to be considered to increase consumer satisfaction i.e 1) taste, menu variation, presentation, and cleanliness, 2) empathy, aesthetics, expression, and innate self, 3) responsiveness and assurance, 4) fairness of prices and affordability, 5) food freshness, shrewdness, and price comparison, and 6) portions and physical evidence. Keywords–Consumer Satisfaction, Restaurants, Factor Analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to establish a mathematical model of the distribution of pneumonia in children under five using the SEIRS (Susceptible-Exposed-Infected-Recovered-Susceptible) model, model analysis, and comparison of minimal vaccinations. This model consists of several classes, namely susceptible, infected but not yet infectious, infected, and cured. Analysis of the stability of the model is obtained by finding a disease-free fixed point whose analysis results are asymptotically stable and an endemic fixed point whose analysis results are asymptotically stable if the value of  A>(Cαβmσ-Cαβσ)/(BCm-Bmρ) and A>βγρ/BC .

Abstract

Abstract – Lung cancer is a disease with characteristic presence of uncontrolled cell growth in the lung tissue. If not treated, the growth of these cells can spread beyond the lung. So if it is not taken seriously, will be ensured with lung cancer longer will increase. The factors that affect the risk of lung cancer are age, gender, cigarette consumption and lung disease history, family history, and type of work. To determine the factors that most influence the risk of lung cancer will be established a model which can help the application of a causal relationship between two or more variables by using logistic regression analysis. Which aims to determine the factors that influence and determine the chances of each of the factors that affect the risk of lung cancer. Based on theresults of the study, the factors that affect the risk of lung cancerat the Hospital Dr. M. Djamil Padang is age cigarette consumption and lung disease history. If a personolder than 40 years, smokers and have a history of lung disease, the chances that a person will suffer from lung cancer increases.Keywords–lung cancer, risk factor, logistic regression analysis

Abstract

Abstract– Queuing is one of the problems that is often faced by public services, as happened at the BNI Sub-Branch Office Air Tawar. It is due to the large number of customers who come to get services. This paper discusses the resolution of the problem faced by obtaining a queuing model that is applied to bank tellers. Data collection is carried out for 5 days (Monday to Friday, at 09.00 - 12.00 Western Indonesian Time) and is done through interviews and direct observations at the teller section of the BNI Sub-Branch Office Air Tawar. Based on the results of the analysis by measuring the performance of the queuing system, it is found that the model applied is .The arrival time of the customer is Poisson distribution and the time of service to the costumer is exponential distribution. The general discipline used is first in first out (FIFO). The basic queuing model is the Multiple Channel Queuing System.Keywords– Queue Theory, Multiple Channel Queuing System.

Abstract

Abstract — Gadgets are sophisticated technology that many people are interested in including early childhood. Parents who deliberately introduce and give gadgets to children without supervision make children addicted to their gadgets. This has led to an increase in cases of gadget addiction in early childhood. The purpose of this research is to form a mathematical model of the effect of giving gadgets to early childhood. This research is basic research. The theoretical method will be used to analyze the theories used in forming a mathematical model of the effect of gadgets on early childhood. Based on the analysis results obtained two fixed points, namely a fixed point free from gadget influence and a fixed point pendemik. The high level of influence of giving gadgets to early childhood causes the population of children to become increasingly addicted to gadgets. Keywords — gadgets, early childhood, gadget addiction.

Abstract

Abstract− The relationship between the volume and  stock  price is used as a reference by investors in buying and selling stock. But many of the novice investors don’t  know the relationship between stock prices and volumes,  resulting in errors in conducting stock transactions. Research was conducted to see the effect of volume on stock prices by using the theil method to match the regression line. This study produced a regression model. The slope coefficient of the regression model, 95% will be between 11.92799 to 24.91132 and the determination coefficient is 0.99530761 which indicates that 99.53% of the volume can explain stock prices while the rest is influenced by other variables not included in the model.

Abstract

Abstract — Scabies is a contagious skin disease caused by an infestation of the Sarcoptes Scabie mite which can spread quickly. This disease is spread in tropical areas where the level of hygiene, sanitation, and socio-economy is low and attacks all groups regardless of sex and age. The purpose of this research is to form a mathematical model, then the model is analyzed and interpreted. Based on the asumi and parameter values, a mathematical model of the spread of scabies in animal and human populations can be formed. The model that has been formed will then be analyzed using simulation. From the analysis obtained two points of equilibrium, which disease free and disease endemic. The simulation results show that scabies disease will continue to exist in the population because the equilibrium point at the endemic disease is unstable.Keywords— endemic, mathematical model, scabies, basic reproduction number.

Abstract

Abstract –Multi-objective optimization is a method of formation of the portfolio was conducted in a way to maximize the level of expected return and risk of the portfolio at the same time with different weighting coefficients k value that states how much risk was taken. The purpose of this research is to form the optimal portfolio based on the properties of the investor. This research was based on LQ-45 stocks case studies in the period trading from February-July 2015. The optimal portfolio for risk seeker investors is when  with expected return at 0.18674% and the shares was invested only one stocks. At the risk indifference investors, the portfolio was formed when  in which the invested shares were nine stocks. The expected return rate was 0.11463% to 0.17998%. As of risk-averse investors, a portfolio was formed when  with invested stocks were ten stocks with expected return at 0.10837%. Keywords –return, expected return, risk, multi-objective optimization, portfolio

Abstract

Compression leaks occur in valves caused by soot resulting from the combustion process of the combustion engine. To overcome valve leaks, it’s necessary to clean using an innovative tool called valve grinding automatic system. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of this tool based on the control chart using the bootstrap method. Based on the research results, the control charts X ̅ dan R show that the cleaning process is in a controlled and stable state (in statistical control). The quality of the valve cleaning process using this tool is able of producing cleaning according to standard cleaning specifications.

Abstract

Abstract - Spherical Triangle is a triangle on surface of ball that formed by circles which cutting the ball. The circle that forms a Spherical Triangle are circles which cutting the ball in center. Area of Spherical Triangle is different from Euclid Triangle. This study look at how to find the Area of Spherical Triangle. The result obtained in this study is how to find the area of Spherical Triangle that must knows about dihedral angle or trihedral angle that forms spherical triangle.Keywords - spherical triangle, dihedral angle, trihedral angle.
