Abstract

Abstract — The problem that the transportation model wants to solve is the determination of the distribution of goods which will minimize the total cost of distribution. Perum Bulog of the West Sumatra Regional Division as the executor of the prosperous rice program for several regions spent quite large funds for distribution activities, one of which was distribution in Padang Pariaman Regency. A transportation method is needed to find the best solution of the transportation problem (transportation), which are NWCM and SSM. NWCM as an initial method serves to determine the initial distribution allocation which will make all resource capacity allocated to all destinations, while SSM is an optimization test. The results of the calculation of the cost of distribution with NWCM are IDR27,967,340. Continued  by an SSM of IDR 25,227,010. While the total real cost is, So that the calculation of the cost of distributing prosperous rice delivery using SSM is the optimum cost, the company can save transportation costs by IDR 3,335,130 or by 12%. Keywords — NWCM, SSM, Distribution fees.

Abstract

Abstract – Investments are placing a current amount of funds with the aim of making a profit in the future. The problem faced by investors is to determine which assets should be selected to obtainmaximum profit and minimum losses. This research  aims to determine the amount of proportion of funds invested into the optimal portfolio and to know the value of Value at Risk (VaR) on stocks that go into the optimal portfolio. Based on research on LQ-45 stock group found 15 stocks enter into the optimal portfolio from 45 shares of the company. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. (BBTN) has proportion 18.01% as the largest propotion of funds. Based on the calculation of VaR in the optimal portfolio, obtained VaR value of 8,747,069, which means if investors invest funds in the portfolio of Rp 100,000,000.00 maximum losses to be suffered by investors with 95% confidence level will not exceed Rp 8,747,069.00.

Abstract

Graphs are  used to represent discrete  objects and the relationships between these objects. One of the best known and very popular examples of graphs is Petersen graph.Petersen graph is very popular  because  of  its  uniqueness  as  a counterexample in  many  places  and  has  many  interesting properties.  Graphs  can  beexpressed  in  the  form  of  a  matrix adjacencywhich  is  denoted.  When  a graph can be  expressed in  the form of an adjacency  matrix, its determinants and eigenvalues can be determined. This research is a theoretical research through literature study. The purpose of this study is to find out how the properties of the adjacency matrix on a Petersen graph are. The concept that will be  discussed  in  this  research  is  how  the  properties  of  the  determinants  and  eigenvalues of  the adjacency  matrix  on  the  Petersen  graph. The  result  of  the  research  is  that  the  determinant  of  the adjacency  matrix  on  the  Petersen  graph  is  positive  with  three  different  eigenvalues and  can  be diagonalized because the algebraic multiplicity is the same as the geometric multiplicity mA = mG

Abstract

Abstract-Nonlinear equation which is difficult to solve by analysis, but it can be solved using approach of variety of  numerical methods, for instance Newton-Raphson and Halley Methods.  However, the methods are not guaranteed to be convergent. Predictor Corrector Halley's method is one of the method that appear from the advantages and disadvantages of Newton-Raphson and Method of Halley. This method uses the Newton-Raphson Method as predictor and Halley's Method as corrector. It has a higher order and more efficient from Newton-Raphson and Halley methods. The advantage of this method has a higher convergence that has sixth-order convergence so that the step of the iteration is fewer. Next,an algorithm of this method is used to determine the root approximations of nonlinear equations.Key Words-Non Linear Equations, Newton Method, Halley Method, Prediktor Corector Halley Method, Algorithm.

Abstract

Abstract –The problem that insurance companies often face is that their small reserve premiums are acquired. The reserves will be used to pay compensation to insurance participants when a claim is made. As a effect, insurance companies will suffer losses. Therefore, it is discussed the determination of annual premium reserves of endowment insurance for joint life cases using the Fackler method with retrospective reserve. The Fackler method is used to calculate net premium reserves in the next few years in sequence. The calculationnof the reservenofnendowment insurance isndonenby forming a combined mortality table, determining the combined life annuity, a single premium, and an annual net premium. By using such calculation, the annual net premium formula and retrospective annual net premium reserve formulation are obtained. Keywords—premium reserves, retrospective, endowment insurance, joint life, Fackler method

Abstract

Abstract — One study in matrix theory is determinant. Matrix determinants are widely used in solving matrix problems, such as: determining eigenvalues, systems solutions of linear and inverse equations. In determining a determinant of a square matrix is usually not easy especially with a large order matrix. The concept of determinant that has been known is generally true for square matrices. In this research, it will be studied about its development, which is about the determinant of non-square matrix (rectangular matrix). This research is a theoretical research through library research on determinant theories and programming theories. The purpose of this research is to determine the determinant of a rectangular matrix using C ++ language. The method used is the analysis of theories relevant to the problem of calculating rectangular matrix determinants using the C ++ language. The results of the study are produced programs that can determine the determinant of a rectangular matrix. Keywords — determinant, matrix, radic method, programming.
