Abstract

Inventory control of raw materials is one of the primary factors that should be conveyed out by a company. The main goal of a company is to get a high profit by minimizing the cost of the production process. PT. Sumber Tata Citra Mandiri is a manufacturing company that produces plywood. To find out the optimal wood inventory control at PT. Sumber Tata Citra Mandiri, one of the methods used is Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). In view of  results of the study, it was found that the optimal supply of wood in 2021 is 3401.34 m3 with a request recurrence of multiple times in a single year, safety stock is 476.80 m3, and the company makes reorder points at an inventory level of 1319.93 m3 and total the cost of wood supplies according to company policy is Rp. 789.593.600 while the EOQ method is Rp. 544.214.614 so that a savings of Rp. 245.378.986 of the cost of wood supplies according to PT. Sumber Tata Citra Mandiri and companies can consider using the EOQ method in controlling their raw material inventory.

Abstract

Abstract – Insurance company in carrying out its duties requires a fee. It causes the values of premiums paid by the policy participants increase. Premiums which involve additional costs are named gross premiums. Most of the premiums paid are a premium reserves which should be provided by the insurance company as a liability if there is a claim in the future. In this research, the value of the reserves was calculated with  retrospective method which is modified with Zillmer method for life term  insurance product case joint life, where two people just pay one insurance policy. In the calculation of Zillmer reserve, gross premiums used as the basis of calculation. Furthermore, interest rates also affect the value of  reserves and the value of premium that must be paid by the participants. Abstract

Abstract—Corn is the main staple food after rice which is a buffer for national food security. Apart from that it is also the main raw material for the animal feed industry  in Lima Puluh Kota. More than 55% of corn production is used as animal feed ingredients. The purpose of this study was to establish a forecasting model for the amount of corn production in Lima Puluh Kota using the Brown’s exponential smoothing method and predict the amount of corn production based on the model that was formed. This type of research is applied research and the data used are secondary data obtained from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency of Lima Puluh Kota. Forecasting method used is the Brown Type Triple Exponential Smoothing Method. From the forecasting model the forecast results are obtained in years 2018 and 2019 that is 31.751,598 ton dan 39.509,526 ton. Keywords—Corn Production Amount, Forecasting,  Smoothing Exponential.

Abstract

Abstractn-.The Nanggalo District Office is one of the offices that provides administrative services in the city of Padang. This Nanggalo District Office has facilities and services provided  to the community. However, the services from the Nanggalo District Office have not fulfilled the needs and desires of the peoplen in Padang City. This researchn goal is ton determine the level ofc Consumer Satisfactionn based on the Customer Satisfaction Indexn (CSI)n andn to determine thej  importance ofn each attribute based on Importance Performance Analysisn (IPA).. The data of this study. are primary data where there are 100 questionnaires that will be given directly to  people of Nanggalo District who have visited at least 2 times. The result showed thatn overall level ofn Comsumer Satisfactionn of 78% was in the range of value 66%-80,99% which indicated that the passenger satisfaction index was the “Satisfied” criterion. Keywords-the nanggalo district office, CSI, IPA

Abstract

 Abstract  Variables and constants from the system of linear equations commonly studied are real numbers because the problems that are resolved are clear. In fact, not all problems are clear, but still in a vague state, so to overcome them, a fuzzy linear equation system is needed. Fuzzy linear equation systems have variables and constants in the form of fuzzy numbers while the coefficients are real numbers. This study uses Crout's decomposition method in solving fuzzy linear equation systems. Crout Decomposition Method is a method that factifies the coefficient coefficient A of the system equation Ax = y to be a matrix multiplication LU where L is a matrix of the lower triangle and U is a triangular matrix on which the main diagonal is one. The results of this study found that Crout's decomposition method can be used in solving fuzzy linear equation systems.

Abstract

Abstrak— The Human Development Index (HDI) is a parameter that functions to assess the success of the quality of human life. The increase in HDI in West Sumatra Province was not accompanied by an equal distribution of HDI in each Regency / City. The factors used in the study are poverty, life expectancy (AHH), average school length (RLS), long school expectancy (HLS), per capita expenditure and economic growth. The research was conducted to see what factors influenced HDI in West Sumatra Province from 2012 to 2018, in which districts / cities were divided into three regional groups based on regional profiles, regional potential and average regional income. The results showed that AHH, RLS, HLS and per capita expenditure were factors that influenced HDI for group I regions. Poverty, HLS and expenditure per capita were factors that influenced the HDI of group II regions. Keywords: HDI, Panel Data Regression Analysis, Fixed Effect Model (FEM).

Abstract

Abstract – Stock options is defined as a contract between two parties that  the person who buy the contract have the right to buy or sell some stocks at a price and a certain period. To generate the profit, investor have to calculate the fear price from the options how the options price can be bought or sold. The Black-Scholes Model is one of model for calculating the option price. By a method of finite difference CTCS, investor can calculate option price which previously formed in the  Black-Scholes Model. This research aims to establish the option pricing formula with Black-Scholes Models using finite difference methods CTCS and apply it. For the example, it is determined the option price Apple (AAPL) stocks from the American stock exchange (NASDAQ). It is obtained bought option price and sold option price at 28 July 2017 are $5.2558 and $ 0.9734. The price of bought option in the market is $5.67 (>$5.2558), so investor have to sell bought option. The price of sold option in the market is $1.32 (>$0.9734), so investor have to sell sold option. Keywords – Stock Option, Black-Sholes Model, Finite Difference  Method, CTCS

Abstract

The Indonesian rupiah (IDR) exchange rate is used to gauge Indonesia's economic stability. Maintaining the IDR exchange rate's stability is critical since it has a direct impact on Indonesia's national monetary situation, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. Forecasting is one way to assess government policy in terms of lowering the exchange rate. The goal of this study is to use the backpropagation artificial neural network model to model and predict the IDR exchange rate. This study uses daily data on the US Dollar (USD) to Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) exchange rate from March 2020 to December 2021. The best BPNN model is BP (2,5,1) with 2 neurons in the input layer, 5 neurons in the hidden layer, and 1 neuron in the output layer. The accuracy of prediction of this model is very good with an RMSE value is 33,66 and MAPE value is 0,1796%.

Abstract

Abstract – Grade Point Academic (GPA) is a standard of university student academic achievement. In job competition, college graduates required to be more creative to develope their potential. GPA is one form of self-potential required by companies headhunter. The achievement of a high GPA is expected to facilitate the college graduates to get a job. The factors that affect GPA is why choose math major, college entrance, father’s occupation, mother’s occupation status, maintenance, residence condition, travel time to campus, length of study, completeness reference books, active organizationsi, and history of serious illness. If the dominant factor known, then GPA can be maximized. Therefore, formulation of the problem in research is how the logistic regression model to identify factors that affect the quality of GPA student majoring in Mathematics in State University of Padang. Factors affecting the quality of GPA student majoring in Mathematics in State University of Padangare father’s occupation, completeness reference books and history of serious illness.Keywords – GPA, Self-Potential, Logistic Regression Analysis.

Abstract—A nonlinear optimization problems with complicated nonlinear objective functions with nonlinear constraints is difficult to complete analytic but can be solved numerically. Research is conducted to seek solution of non-linear with constrained or not problems using a two-phase linearization approach.
