Abstract

This research aims to determine the motivation for interest in entrepreneurship in the people of Bawolowalani Lorong 1 Village, Teluk Dalam District, South Nias Regency. The type of research used is quantitative research. The population in this study, the people of Bawolowalani Lorong 1 Village, Teluk Dalam District, was 272 people. The sampling method used was a simple random sampling technique, with a sample size of 73 people. The type of data used is quantitative data and the data source was obtained through distributing questionnaires directly to the people of Bawolowalani Lorong 1 Village. The data collection technique used in this research is the questionnaire technique. The analytical method that will be used to test the hypothesis used in this research is simple linear regression analysis. The results of this research show that motivation influences the entrepreneurial interest of the people of Bawolowalani Lorong 1 Village, Teluk Dalam District, South Nias Regency. The conclusion in this research is that, partially, the motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on interest in entrepreneurship. The suggestion in this research is, in increasing entrepreneurial motivation, people should first have the desire to become entrepreneurs by working hard, developing ideas, thinking optimistically and remaining focused on the goals they want to achieve and to increase interest in entrepreneurship, people need to understand the importance of entrepreneurship, have entrepreneurial skills, daring to take risks and not being afraid of failure, so that interest in entrepreneurship in society will increase.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of entrepreneurial motivation on the success of motorbike repair shops in Telukdalam District, South Nias Regency. The type of research is quantitative, the population of this research is 40 respondents. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. The type of data for this research is primary data, while the data source for this research is from motorbike repair shops using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is simple regression analysis. The results of the research are that there is a significant influence of entrepreneurial motivation on the success of motorbike repair shops in Telukdalam District, South Nias Regency. The suggestions for this research are (1) To increase business success, especially motorbike repair shops in Telukdalam District, the government should provide entrepreneurial motivation for every micro business actor through loans with relatively small interest to facilitate the community's economic cycle. (2) Because entrepreneurial motivation variables have a big influence on business success, every entrepreneur and related parties who determine business success need to consider this carefully.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of entrepreneurial knowledge and competitive advantage on the success of trading businesses in Telukdalam City. The type of research used is quantitative research. The type of data used in this study is the type of primary data, namely data obtained directly from respondents. The data source used in this study is from trading business actors by using a questionnaire with 42 respondents. The data collection technique is a questionnaire by giving a list of statements to respondents to fill out. The data analysis method used is simple regression analysis. Based on the results of hypothesis testing research with a value of t_hitung = 3.025> t_table = 1.682 on entrepreneurial knowledge and t_hitung = 2.981> t_table = 1.682 on competitive advantage, meaning that there is an influence of entrepreneurial knowledge and competitive advantage on the success of trading businesses in Telukdalam City. The suggestions for this study are (1) To increase business success in trading businesses in the city of Telukdalam, you should have entrepreneurial knowledge that can optimize a business on the road.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Competence on Employee Performance at the Telukdalam District Office, South Nias Regency. This type of research uses quantitative research that is causal in nature. The source of the type of data collected by the researcher is primary data obtained directly from the research location, namely by distributing questionnaires to all employees of the Telukdalam District Office, South Nias Regency. The population in this study were all those who worked at the Telukdalam District Office, South Nias Regency, as many as 30 people. and were used as samples based on the results of the study. The data analysis technique used in this study was simple linear regression analysis. Simple regression analysis is a statistical analysis approach used to describe the relationship between the dependent variable (Employee Performance) and the independent variable. (Competence). Based on the partial test, the Competence variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Telukdalam District Office, South Nias Regency. The author's suggestion is that in the world of work, expertise or competence is needed to be able to complete tasks or a job quickly and accurately, for that employees should get a form of short-term socialization or education in increasing knowledge in completing tasks or jobs.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of competency and work enthusiasm on employee performance at the Toma sub-district office, South Nias Regency. The type of research the author uses is quantitative research. The type of data used is quantitative data and the data source was obtained by distributing questionnaires to employees of the Toma District Head Office. The population in this study was all employees at the Toma Subdistrict Office, totaling 30 people. The sampling technique used non-profitability sampling with a saturated sampling technique, and a sample of 30 people. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research show that partially, competency has a significant effect on employee performance and work morale has a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, competency and work enthusiasm have a significant effect on employee performance at the Toma Subdistrict Office, South Nias Regency. Based on the research results and data analysis from this research, the researcher concluded that there is a significant influence of competence and work enthusiasm on employee performance at the Toma Subdistrict Office, South Nias Regency. The suggestions for this research are, 1) it is necessary to increase the competency skills of employees at the Toma Subdistrict Office, South Nias Regency. 2) It is necessary to hold training activities for officials to improve their skills in accordance with their duties in their field. 3) It is necessary to give awards in the form of praise to employees for their achievements and performance. 4) Increase cooperation in carrying out work between employees and leaders. 5) There needs to be awareness in changing the work environment for the better.
