Abstract

Adanya tantangan yang dihadapi industri Mochi di Sukabumi saat ini adalah persainganpasar Mochi yang terus berkembang dengan bertambahnya kompetitor baru yangmenawarkan mochi yang berasal dari Korea dan Jepang dengan kualitas dan rasa yanglebih baik dari produk Mochi Sukabumi. Berdasarkan survey awal dan interview yangtelah dilakukan pada dua industri Mochi yang terdapat di Sukabumi, kekurangan dariproduk Mochi tersebut adalah tekstur dari adonan yang kurang baik dan ukuran yangtidak seragam. Adapun Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan rancang bangunmesin pengaduk pada proses pengadukan adonan kulit Mochi sehingga dengan mesin inidapat memperbaiki tekstur dari kulit Mochi yaitu lebih lembut dan halus. Setelahdilakukan Implementasi dengan menggunakan mesin mengaduk adonan Mochi adonanmenjadi lebih baik dan kelelahan pekerja dalam proses pengadukan adonan kulit Mochidapat dihilangkan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to minimize the travel time of forklift trucks. Currently thetotal travel time for the nine locations that using forklift trucks is 41.39 minute, and the averagetime for activities in each site is constant 90.15 minutes. The main problem shown by the researchis that the travel time has not reached the optimal time. The result from random sampling methodis 38.17 minutes. The solution reached from Genetic Algorithm is 34.80 minutes as the route fromMaintenance Cutting Logistic Gas Metering Regulating Station Fabrication Transformer Tank Fabrication General Fabrication Stamping Products WarehouseMaterial Warehouse and back to Maintenance with 16% of decreased travel time from priorcondition optimized by Genetic Algorithm.

Abstract

Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) merupakan model bisnis untuk menggunakanpihak ketiga sebagai subkontraktor atau pemasok bagian-bagian tertentu dalam rangka integrasiproduk akhir. Pemasok OEM platform dibagi beberapa tingkatan. Pemasok tingkatan 1 (tier 1) adalahpemasok yang terbesar, tier 1 memproduksi barang yang penting untuk perusahaan OEM. PerusahaanOEM 1st tier tidak terlepas dari waste yang ada di perusahaan itu sendiri. Studi kasus dilakukan padaperusahaan manufaktur OEM supplier tier 1 yang memproduksi brake untuk kendaraan roda 2 (twowheels). Besarnya kuantitas permintaan dari produsen sepeda motor (OEM) dan varian modelnya,serta masih terdapat loss genba (waste) di shop-floor, dan adanya cost reduction yearly dariperusahaan OEM. Maka, perlu dibuat sebuah model atau sistem untuk meningkatkan kinerjaperusahaan. Model yang dibuat berdasarkan prinsip lean yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi ataumenghilangkan waste pada proses manufaktur dengan tools Objective Matrix (OMAX), Value StreamMapping (VSM), Eliminate-Combine-Rearrange-Simplify (ECRS) dimana goal akhir adalahpeningkatan kinerja (produktivitas) perusahaan. Part yang dipilih untuk improvement adalah linemachining master cylinder 5P0, dengan nilai produktivitas dasar OMAX adalah 300. Dilakukananalisa dengan VSM sebagai visualisasi waste yang terdapat pada shop-floor saat ini. Diperoleh wasteyakni motion, over process dan waiting. Setelah dilakukan analisis waste yang ada, berikutnya adalahmelakukan perbaikan menggunakan pendekatan ECRS. Perbaikan dilakukan menggunakanpendekatan ECRS. Hasil yang diperoleh gap waktu standar sebelum dan sesudah adalah 8.29 detik(atau turun sebesar 17%). Perbaikan yang dilakukan adalah eliminate proses facing machining,combine tool burrytori, rearrange penempatan material, simplify penempatan air minum di line.ECRS menunjukkan hasil menaikkan nilai produktivitas di bulan berikutnya sebesar 432, 959, 334,770, 921, 959. Hasil lainnya adalah 4 bulan setelah aktivitas, line machining untuk kebutuhan mastercylinder 5P0 yang sebelumnya menggunakan 6 line direduksi menjadi 5 line (reduksi 1 line). Darihasil pengujian T-test terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai produktivitas dasar terhadapnilai produktivitas setelah perbaikan.

Abstract

In this day, each insurance company has many products offered to consumers in order toachieve its targets. However, because a lot of competition in the insurance industry so that not allcompanies make profits. Based on that, the fundamental problem faced is how to formulate a strategyin accordance with the company's environmental conditions so that the desired target is reached. Thepurpose of this research is to formulate a strategy in accordance with the conditions of the company.The method used consists of 3 stages of strategy formulation is the input stage, phase matching anddecision-making stage. The input stage using matrix EFE and IFE matrix, matching phase using matrixGrand Strategy and SWOT matrix and decision stage using pairwise comparison approach. There are3 alternatives chosen strategy of the research, that are market penetration with a weight of 0.5396,market development with a weight of 0.2970 and development of products with a weight of 0.1634.

Abstract

Improvement of product was needed by every company to increase process efficiency. One of the productimprovement methods is approached by design for manufacturing (DFM). This method is design method to beused to product fabrication considering minimum cost of component, assembly and overhead. PT.Indo Mada Yasathat fabricated pallet box had focus on reducing component and improve production process. Reducingcomponent conducted by eliminate non added value material but still considering quality of the product.Production process can be improved by simplifying the production process. The main goal implementation of ofprocess efficiency is mimimize cost of production and quality. Result of DFM method implementation to produce1 piece of pallet box will minimize the production cost until 20.0 % and minimize quality cost until 27.1%.

Abstract

Functional position has disadvantage that for promotion of PNS not certainly, depands onPNS can reach specified requirements. Pranata Komputer as one of functional positions alsohas same disadvantage. Because of that, it needs career planning model for PrantaKomputer so that time for promotion is decent. Career planning model designed based onthree stages of a career, which is entry stage, maturity stage, and passage stage. Careerplanning model designed influenced by elements of activities, events, and credit numbers.The verification results show that the model has been as expected. The validation result showthat activities designed for promotion have a high suitability, but for ease of implementationdiffers in each rank.

Abstract

Sulfuric acid production is a continuous process. With the process running constantly then the conditionof machinery should be maintained properly so as not frequent downtime. Downtime will result indecreased production achievement and damage the quality of the product.To overcome this designed a treatment system using the concept of TPM in a corporateenvironment, which is expected to bring harmony between the operator as to the implementation of theproduction engineer and production planner’s parties as well as the maintenance. The concept of totalproductive maintenance is one way for the company's improved performance is more stable. Theconcept of total productive maintenance consists of three important components of a total approach,efforts productive, and maintenance. Of the three components can be explained using the concept ofOverall Equipment Effectiveness and autonomous maintenance.

Abstract

PT X is a joint venture subsidiary of a bank in Indonesia, which is a company, engaged ingeneral insurance business. PT X is required to increase its share of the parent company by theshareholders in developing its business potential. In developing the potential of the business, companiesneed enough information to be analyzed further. Sources of information that can be used is the businessdata of the company, both of PT X as a subsidiary and its holding company. By utilizing business datain large numbers, the company will find a variety of information needed. For the business dataprocessing required a technique of data mining. In a study conducted, the implementation of the modelrefers to the six stages of Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining or commonly known by theacronym CRISP-DM. In doing data mining, the six phases of the CRISP-DM is business understanding,understanding the data, the data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment. At this stage ofdeployment, the report will be made by the customer segmentation by region. The expected result is theinformation required in the form of a new customer pipeline.

Abstract

In the Educational environment, the relationship between knowledge and technologyaffecting the organization culture. In relation to Trisakti University Vision, which is becomingthe best Industrial Engineering program and becoming the center of development for IndustrialEngineering education with technopreneurship knowledge. Big effort needs to be done to changethe student’s mindset to be entreprenurial mindset. Efforts to be done by Industrial EngineeringDepartment to achieve the vision is with the Industrial Manufacture Design Practicum, MAIRATechnopreneurship Business Incubator (MTBI) that is created to collect products by studentsand to help students doing their business, and also help them market and operate their businesswith a business incubator. The research is trying to meassure the entrepreneurial quality of eachindividual and map the student’s entrepreneurial characteristic using the IndividualEntreprenurship Quality Quesionnaire. Mapping needed to see each new students and final yearstudent’s condition. After that, what is being done is doing differentiation test to see the effect ofthe learning activities being done if it is affecting the entrepreneurial characteristic withinstudents. After the characteristics being identified, which is significant and non significant, thedevelopment of strategies will be done after that to change the non significant characteristics tobe improved. The Methodology being used in the research is T-Test and SWOT strategic Model.

Abstract

PT.X is a supplier company that manufactures plastic bottles. Currently PT.X has aproduction capacity of 4.3 million bottles per day. The production capacity can be met if theproduction machine running well and in a reliable state. PT.X not currently have a machinemaintenance activities are laid out well. This often caused many damage occurs unscheduledengine which causes the cost of lost opportunity (opportunity cost) for the manufacture ofproducts and the high costs of component inventory. The method used in solving the problem inthis study is the use of Reliability Centered Maintenance analysis in determining the policy oftreatment and then seek maintenance intervals based on the minimum cost. The results obtainedare contained 8 components that have critical categories with each scheduled maintenance policyis age replacement, with this calculation obtained a saving of approximately 44% on inventorycosts and increased reliability component approximately 42% -64%.
