Istoria: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Batanghari diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Batanghari. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali setahun, setiap bulan April dan September yang berisi hasil penelitian (lapangan atau studi pustaka) kajian teoretis maupun kajian kritis. Jurnal ini merupakan salah satu media publikasi bagi penelitian dengan kajian terkini dalam bidang sejarah dan pendidikan sejarah yang meliputi ranah sejarah dan pembelajaran sejarah itu sendiri. Dalam penelitian sejarah teoritis dan kritis mencakup sejarah dunia, sejarah Indonesia, dan sejarah lokal sedangkan pada bidang pendidikan sejarah mencakup strategi pembelajaran sejarah, metode pembelajaran sejarah, evaluasi pembelajaran sejarah, dan hal-hal lain yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan sejarah.

Abstract

Abstract. Salah satu tujuan pembelajaran IPS adalah mempersiapkan peserta didik menjadi warga negara yang baik. Salah satu hal yang perlu dipersiapkan dalam mata pelajaran IPS guna mencapai fungsi ini adalah bisa memilih dan menggabungkan materi sesuai dengan local content masyarakat Indonesia. Pemilihan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan masyarakat Indonesia yang beragam akan menjadi rujukan peserta didik untuk mempelajari berbagai keragaman yang ada dalam masyarakat Indonesia. Sehingga bisa mencegah radikalisme di tengah tengah kehidupan bernegara. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi literature dalam menganalisis bahan ajar IPS berbasis pendidikan multikultural dan kearifan lokal daerah dalam mewujudkan integrasi nasional. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa bahan ajar IPS berbasis pendidikan multikultural dan kearifan lokal daerah terbukti efektif dalam mewujudkan integrasi nasional.Keywords: Bahan ajar IPS, pendidikan multikultural, kearifan lokal, integrasi nasional

Abstract

AbstractThis research is a historical research with the theme of economic history with the main problem is the development of the traditional Malay cake industry that is traditionally inhabited by Jambi residents in the Seberang Region of Jambi City from 1984 to 2016. The purpose of this thesis is to explain the emergence and development of the traditional cake industry in Seberang area of Jambi City which eventually became the center of traditional Malay cake production. Another goal is to describe the contribution, role, and influence of the traditional pastry culinary industry on the economic life of the population and other local economic sectors in the Seberang Region of Jambi City. Some theories used are Schumpeter's theory of the role of entrepreneurs who are also innovators in creating economic growth. For the research method is the historical method, through several stages, namely heuristics (the personal archive of cake makers, interviews, and other written sources), criticism, interpretation and writing. The findings in the field show that the business of making traditional cakes in the Seberang area of Jambi City has been developing from time to time although it is still on a home industry scale, this is indicated by the continued increase in the number of traditional cake makers in Danau Teluk and Pelayangan Districts, as well as the expanding marketing area. traditional cake products to the regional level. In addition it is known that this type of traditional pastry business is in the form of a private business and there is also a joint / group business.Keywords: Home Industry, Traditional Cakes, Across the City of Jambi AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian sejarah yang bertemakan sejarah ekonomi dengan permasalahan pokoknya adalah perkembangan industri kue tradisional khas Melayu Jambi yang ditekuni penduduk di Kawasan Seberang Kota Jambi sejak tahun 1984 hingga tahun 2016.  Adapun Tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini untuk menjelaskan kemunculan dan perkembangan industri kue tradisional di Kawasan Seberang  Kota Jambi yang pada akhirnya menjadi sentra produksi kue tradisional khas Melayu Jambi. Tujuan lainnya yaitu menggambarkan kontribusi, peranan, dan pengaruh industri kuliner kue tradisional terhadap kehidupan ekonomi penduduk dan sektor ekonomi lokal lainnya di Kawasan Seberang Kota Jambi. Beberapa teori yang digunakan adalah teori Schumpeter tentang peranan pengusaha yang juga menjadi innovator di dalam menciptakan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Untuk metode penelitiannya adalah metode sejarah, melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu heuristik (arsip pribadi pembuat kue, wawancara, dan sumber tertulis lainnya), kritik, interpretasi dan penulisan. Hasil temuan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa usaha pembuatan kue tradisional di Kawasan Seberang Kota Jambi mengalami perkembangan dari waktu ke waktu meskipun masih berskala industri rumah tangga, hal ini ditandai dengan terus bertambahnya jumlah pembuat kue tradisional di Kecamatan Danau Teluk dan Pelayangan, serta makin luasnya daerah pemasarann produk kue tradisional hingga ke tingkat regional. Selain itu diketahui bahwa jenis usaha kue tradisional ini ada yang berbentuk usaha pribadi dan ada juga yang berbentuk usaha bersama/kelompok.Kata Kunci: Industri Rumah Tangga, Kue Tradisional, Seberang Kota Jambi

Abstract

 Abstract The main problem of this research is "New Urban Village Economy in Growth,  Development and the Impact on Economic Life of the society Period 1984-2009". The purpose of this research is to describe the driving and supporting factors as well as the process of growth and development of the economy of the Kota Baru, as well as explain the impact to the economic life of the society and the progress of the Kota Baru. The research used  history method, through several stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography.The findings in the field show that Kota Baru has experienced growth and economic development in the long term from 1984-2009. So many supporting factors and driving factors that cause the process of growth and development is included with the modernization of the economy. Even as evidence of the success of growth and economic development, Kota Baru has become an independent integrated village pilot center by the central government and the East Tanjung Jabung Regency Government which will have a positive impact on the local economy as well as the economic life of the people of Kota Baru Village. Keywords: Kota Baru Village, Growth, Development, Village Economy, Modernization, Independent Integrated village.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the teacher's communication had in the learning process using the WhatsApp application on the learning activities of class X students on History material at State High School 4 Jambi City. This research is a descriptive quantitative study to determine the quality of learning by using the WhatsApp application in history learning at SMA Negeri 4 Jambi City. Based on the results of research that has been done regarding the use of the WhatsApp application in history learning at SMA Negeri 4 Jambi City. Based on the data from the questionnaire results, 36 students consisted of three indicators, each of which obtained a percentage of 75.10% classified as "Effective Enough" on the indicators of learning quality. While the other indicators are indicators of student readiness in participating in learning with a percentage of 72.44% in the "Effective Enough" category. Furthermore, the last one on the student time indicator with a percentage of 71.11% is classified in the "Effective Enough" category. So it can be concluded that the use of the whatsapp application in history learning at SMA N 4 Jambi City shows an average percentage of 72.83% of indicators classified as "Effective Enough.

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to describe the importance and existence of the Thursday Market as well as the economic activities that occur from trading transactions (buying and selling) to the parties involved in these economic activities. In addition, it also aims to explain the level of economic and social welfare of PasarKamis, Kelurahahan Jambi Kecil for the economic life of the population and for economic growth outside the Kelurahan Jambi Kecil. The research method used is the historical method, including the Heuristic stage or source collection, criticism, interpretation and historiography. Historical sources used are in the form of local archives, oral interviews and written literature. Local archives: Books, and bulletin through library research. The approach used is an economic approach to find out the income or profit earned by traders and expenses and buyers, then a sociological approach to see the relationship or social interaction between fellow traders, traders and buyers, and other parties involved suchas the scoping institution in this case. manager of the Thursday market, Jambi small village, MaroSebo sub-district. The results showed that PasarKamisKelurahan Jambi Kecil remained a traditional main market and had been transformed into a modern-style market, coupled with the increasing number of buildings and types of goods being traded. Thus, the Thursday market in Jambi Kecil Village still plays an important role as the economic infrastructure for the Jambi Kecil Village which has a positive impact on those who pocket their livelihoods in buying and selling activities at the Thursday Market.Keyword:  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan arti penting dan keberadaan Pasar Kamis serta aktivitas ekonomi yang terjadi mulai dari kegiatan transaksi dagang (jual beli) hingga pihak-pihak yang terlibat didalam aktivitas ekonomi tersebut. Selain itu juga bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tingkat kesejahteraan ekonomi dan sosial Pasar Kamis KelurahanJambiKecil bagi kehidupan ekonomi penduduk maupun bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi diluar kelurahan Jambi Kecil. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode sejarah, meliputi tahapan Heuristik atau pengumpulan sumber, kritik, interpretasi dan Historiografi. Sumber sejarah yang digunakan berupa arsip lokal, wawancara lisan dan literature tertulis. Arsip local: Buku-buku, dan bulletin lewat studi kepustakaan.Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan ekonomi untuk mengetahui pendapatan atau keuntungan yang diproleh pedagang serta pengeluaran dan pihak pembeli, kemudian pendekatan sosiologi untuk melihat hubungan atau interaksi sosial diantarasesame pedagang, pedagang dan pembeli, dan pihak-pihak lain yang terlibat seperti institusi pelingkup dalam hal ini pengrus pasar kamis kelurahan jambi kecil Kecamatan Maro Sebo.Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa Pasar Kamis Kelurahan Jambi kecil tetap menjadi Pasar induk Tradisional dan telah berubah menjadi Pasar yang bercorak modern, ditambah dengan semakin banyaknya bangunan serta jenis barang yang diperjual belikan. Dengan demikian pasar Kamis Kelurahan Jambi Kecil tetap berperan penting sebagai insfrastruktur ekonomi kelurahan Jambi Kecil yang berdampak positif bagi pihak-pihak yang mengantungkan mata pencarian pada aktivitas jual beli di Pasar Kamis.Kata kunci: Pasar tradisional, Kamis, jual beli, kecamatan maro sebo.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian dan pengembangan ini berangkat dari permasalahan yang terjadi di SMA N 9 Kota Jambi dimana pembelajaran yang dilakukan menggunakan media yang itu-itu saja dan siswa cepat merasabosan dalam proses pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran dapat menjadi alternatif dalam pemecahan masalah yang terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran yaitu media video animasi dan menerapkannya pada pelajaran Sejarah kelas XI di SMA N 9 Kota Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Lee and Owen yang memiliki lima tahap yaitu; 1) analisis, 2) desain, 3) pengembangan, 4) implementasi, dan 5) evaluasi. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA N 9 Kota Jambi dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI IPA yang berjumlah 2 orang untuk uji coba perorangan, 6 orang untuk uji coba kelompok kecil, dan 35 orang pada untuk uji coba kelompok besar. Dari hasil uji coba lapangan didapatlah persentase 85% yang dikategorikan sangat baik untuk penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi diterapkan dalam pembelajaran sejarah.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Media Pembelajaran, Video Animasi.  AbstractThis research and development departs from the problems that occur in SMA Negeri 9 Jambi City where learning is carried out using the same media and students quickly feel bored in the learning process. Learning media can be an alternative in solving problems that occur. This study aims to produce instructional media products, namely video animation media and apply it to the history lessons of class XI at SMA N 9 Jambi City. The research method used in this research is ADDIE developed by Lee and Owen which has five stages, namely; 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluation. The research was conducted at SMA N 9 Kota Jambi with the research subjects of class XI IPA students, amounting to 2 people for individual trials, 6 people for small group trials, and 35 people for large group trials. From the results of field trials, it was found that a percentage of 85% was categorized as very good for the use of animated video-based learning media applied in history learning.Keywords: Development, Learning Media, Animated Video.

Abstract

AbstractMedia is one of the supporting facilities as the efforts of the teacher in the implementation of the lessons can run effectively and efficiently. With the development of computer technology equipped with various software and applications in it that can be used to design and produce a learning media that can be tailored to the needs. One of the softwares that can be used to develop learning media is Macromedia Flash, has various advantages such as text, audio, animation, images, narratives, videos and so on, so as to provide benefits and increase the learning process that is more effective and efficient that impacts student learning outcomes can increase. The media development model used adopts the ADDIE model with Analyze, Design, Development (Implementation), Implementation (Implication), and Evaluation (evaluation). Keywords: Media Development, ADDIE Model, Macromedia Flash. AbstrakMedia merupakan salah satu sarana pendukung sebagai upaya guru dalam pelaksanaan pembalajaran dapat berjalan secara efektif dan efisien. Dengan adanya perkembangan teknologi computer dilengkapi berbagai softwere maupun aplikasi di dalamnya yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk merancang dan memproduksi suatu media pembelajaran yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan. Salah satu Softwere yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran adalah Macromedia Flash, memiliki berbagai keunggulan seperti teks, audio, animasi, gambar, narasi, video dan sebagainya, sehingga dapat memberikan manfaat serta meningkatnya proses pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan efisien yang berdampakhasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat. Abstract

Abstract               The purpose of this research is to describe the economic activity and the role of the workers in the  palm plantations in Desa Sumber Mulya and explain the economic life of the workers result of the influence of the economic activities of the people's palm plantations. The research method used is historical method, which is a process of testing and critically analyzing past events, with stages starting from heuristics, criticism, interpretation, historiography. The approach used is a multidisciplinary theoretical approach by applying other social sciences concepts such as economics and sociology. . The results showed that the community palm plantations in Desa Sumber Mulya show progressive conditions, one of them in terms of increasing the number of workers and wages of workers every year so as to improve their economic life. Not only have an economic impact on labor, this oil palm plantation also affects the economic condition of the farmers as well as the owners of the palm plantation due to the continued increase in profits.Keywords: palm plantation, Labor, farmer, Sumber  Mulya

Abstract

Abstract               This study aims to describe the dynamics that occur in the Mandi Safar ritual from the period 1986-2003. The research method used is the historical method, including Heuristic stages, Source Criticism, Interpretation, and Historiography. Historical sources used in the form of local archives, oral interviews, and written literature from theses, books.               The approach used to sharpen the analysis of the study of researchers. The approach used is the cultural anthropology approach, which will look at the values contained in a tradition and culture that develops in society, including the Mandi Safar ritual tradition in Air Hitam Laut Village.               The results showed that the Safar Mandi ritual was in a fluctuating condition from the function, to the changes in the Safar Mandi ritual from Magico-religious to profane. In the end it was concluded that this culture turned out to have existed and continued to be preserved by the population in Air Hitam Laut Village in particular and Sadu District in general so that it was not only in this area.Keywords: Safar Bath Ritual, Air Hitam Laut Village, Sadu District AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dinamika yang terjadi didalam ritual Mandi Safar dari periode 1986- 2003. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode sejarah, meliputi tahapan Heuristik, Kritik Sumber, Interpretasi, dan Historiografi. Sumber sejarah yang digunakan berupa arsip lokal, wawancara lisan, dan literatur tertulis dari skripsi, buku.            Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk mempertajam analisis terhadap kajian peneliti. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan antropologi budaya, yang akan melihat tentang nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam sebuah tradisi maupun budaya yang berkembang dalam masyarakat termasuk tradisi ritual Mandi Safar di Desa Air Hitam Laut.            Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ritual Mandi Safar berada pada kondisi yang fluktuatif mulai dari fungsi, hingga perubahan-perubahan ritual Mandi Safar mulai dari Magico-religius menjadi profane. Pada akhirnya disimpulkan bahwa kebudayaan ini ternyata juga telah ada dan terus dilestarikan penduduk di Desa Air Hitam Laut khususnya dan Kecamatan Sadu umumnya sehingga tidak hanya didaerah ini saja.Kata Kunci : Ritual Mandi Safar, Desa Air Hitam Laut, Kecamatan Sadu

Abstract

Based on the experience of researchers in class, on average, students in class VII experienced less motivation which had an effect on student learning outcomes. The teacher functions to generate student motivation by guiding students to be directly involved in active learning activities, especially in the Human Needs material. The Discovery Learning model is one of the learning models that directs these activities, the selection of the Discovery Learning learning model is a learning model that in addition to generating student motivation, also involves students in the search process for Human Needs material. The problems to be studied in this action research are: Can the use of the Discovery Learning model improve the learning outcomes of class VIIA students on Human Needs material at SMPN 12 Tanjung Jabung Timur in the 2021/2022 academic year? . Meanwhile, the objectives of this research are: To improve learning outcomes on the subject of Human Needs for class VIIA students at SMPN 12 Tanjung Jabung Timur in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses two cycles of action research. Each round consists of four stages, namely: design, activities and observations, reflection, and revision. The target of this study was class VIIA students. The data obtained were in the form of formative test results, observation sheets for teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning achievement increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely, cycle I (55.56%) and cycle II (88.89%). The conclusion of this study is that learning the Discovery Learning model can have a positive effect on student learning outcomes VII A and this learning model can be used as an alternative to Social Science learning where students can explore and solve problems on the material.
