Abstract

The lack of educator skills in choosing learning models will have a negative impact on their students. The existence of the problem of low student learning outcomes and student activity made the researchers take the initiative to conduct oriented research to improve mathematics learning outcomes using the van hiele learning model. The subjects of this study were 32 grade 5 students. The research location is at SDN Pondok Kelor 1 Paiton Probolinggo. In its implementation using Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data collection process was carried out by observation, interviews, documentation, and learning achievement tests. The data analysis process utilizes a qualitative descriptive type. This qualitative descriptive describes the quality or the quality of the results of the implementation carried out. The results obtained from research on the use of the Van Hiele learning model resulted in an increase in student learning outcomes. Evidenced by the acquisition in the first cycle the value of student learning activities with good criteria, namely 45.86%, in the second cycle increased to 78.11%. In addition, student learning outcomes when calculated using the average score have increased, from 57 in cycle I to 74 in cycle II.

Abstract

Lessons in Indonesian continue to be given at every level of education, starting from elementary education to tertiary institutions with the aim of improving students' ability to communicate orally and in writing using Indonesian. However, there is a problem. This research was conducted because of the low interest and learning skills of students in learning Indonesian in class II MI Miftahul Huda Jrebeng Kidul Wonoasih. This is due to the incompatibility of the learning methods and media used in the discussion of understanding the contents of the text. For this reason, the researcher is interested in correcting this problem by utilizing the discussion method and picture series media. This research was carried out using the PTK method and the data analysis was descriptive qualitative by describing the research strategy realistically based on the data obtained. The results obtained after the research showed an increase in the average interest with an average pre-cycle of 38, an average of 47 in the first cycle and an average of 79 in the second cycle. cycle I and 80 in cycle II.

Abstract

Based on the results of the research data, it shows that the learning activities of students in class 3 at the beginning of the meeting can be categorized as low and the teaching materials used by class 3 teachers are very conventional, less effective and the teacher still uses lecture, discussion and assignment methods. based on some of the problems that occurred in the research, the researchers decided to make observations at Kalisalam 1 Elementary School regarding the Application of Montessori-based 2-dimensional learning media with the aim of knowing how Montessori-based 2-dimensional learning media can improve learning outcomes in science learning in class 3 students of Kalisalam Elementary School 1 Probolinggo Regency. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the subjects in this study being grade 3 students at SDN Kalisalam 1, Probolinggo Regency, consisting of 28 students, namely 10 male students and 18 female students. The data collected in this study were student activities, student learning outcomes, observation, interview, test, and documentation during learning activities. Data analysis used by researchers is descriptive qualitative, namely data obtained from an analysis of student activities during teaching and learning activities and comparing student learning outcomes in the initial conditions before improvement with learning outcomes obtained after taking action in the first cycle. Based on the details of the results of the implementation of the action as much as 2 cycles in science learning. It can be concluded that learning science on the subject of weather, climate, season and its influence on the lives of living things using 2-dimensional montessori-based learning media can improve learning outcomes with mastery learning by 79.00% in cycle 2 where this figure is very significant when compared to the level of learning completeness in cycle 2. 1 which is 66.6%.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a pocket book development product called Tembang Dolanan to improve students' love of the motherland character education, which meets valid, efficient, and effective criteria. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) development design, in which the outline of this research flow is (1) research and information collection for initial data needs or needs analysis (need assessment) researchers use observation of student learning activities and distributing questionnaires to teachers and students, (2) initial product development planning in the form of pocket book printing media by considering material, design, subject matter limitations, and preparing trial plans, (3) expert evaluation, carried out by material experts and media experts, (4) revision of results expert evaluation, (5) product trials using 22 research subjects, (6) the final product in the form of Tembang Dolanan pocket book printing media. The material expert validation results reached 93.18% with revisions. Media expert validation results reached 83.33% with revisions. And after the field test the results of the teacher's response reached 91.66% while the results of the student's response reached 100%. Based on these results, the Tembang Dolanan pocket book teaching materials are included in the valid, efficient, and effective qualifications used in learning.

Abstract

Kindergarten age is the age when children express themselves a lot through free expression to increase creativity in children. The focus of this research is to discuss the application of the free expression method to increase the creativity of drawing in playgroup children aged 5-6 years. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the free expression method to increase the drawing creativity of playgroup children aged 5-6 years. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with an active research approach in the classroom. While the data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data comes from student grades Secondary data is generated from peer observations. The results of the study that can be concluded are based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the free drawing method can increase children's creative efforts. This can be seen from the results of children's creativity at the pre-session stage before carrying out the procedure. Only 20% of children had creative abilities which increased to 40% in the first cycle and the level of mastery in the second cycle became 80%. From the data above it can be concluded that the free drawing method can increase the creativity of children in student play groups

Abstract

The research I did was descriptive qualitative research.the purposeof the research that I didwas to describe the difficulties faced by eachers in an effort to instill good manners in children at kindergarten kemala bhayangkari 1 palembang and to explain solutions in overcoming obstacles that occurred,and to describe efforts to instill good manners kindergarten kemala bhayangkari to shape the polite behavior of children in calss A.this research was carried out in kindergarten kemala bhayangkari 1 palembang.the data collection echnique I did was collect data used by observation ,interviews,documentation of the results of this research.good manners for children to give understanding to children always respect older people give a warning to children who speak impolitely to people who are older than him give examples of polite behavior to children before lessons begin the difficulties faced by the teacher in shaping the child’s character lack self –confidence in children,the solution applied by classroom teachers,namely teaching with love and special attentions as a teacher,naturally becomes a good example for children.

Abstract

Language ability is the ability, skill, richness of speech, thoughts and feelings of humans through arbitrary sounds, used to work together, interact and identify themselves in good conversation. Audio visual media is one of the media that can develop language processes in early childhood. This research was conducted to find out how the influence of audio-visual media has on the language skills of early childhood, especially at RA Plus FATAHUL WARDAH Kindergarten, while the object of the research is the process of understanding children's language at RA Plus FATAHUL WARDAH through audiovisual. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique is the case study method. The results of the study were that there was an influence on early childhood language skills at RA Plus FADAHUL WARDAH Palembang City after the audio-visual learning method was applied.

Abstract

The study aims to illustrate how important ice breaking activities are in a teaching and learning process. A teacher is not only skilled in delivering learning material, but also must be able to cope when students feel bored with ice breaking activities. In this study using the literature review research method which obtains data or information from relevant previous research such as from journals, books and others, which is then managed and analyzed. The results of this research based on information and data from various journals and books show that ice breaking activities can overcome boredom and loss of focus in early childhood during the learning process. The conclusion of this study with ice breaking activities will help teachers to arouse children's passion in learning and help children to refocus when learning.

Abstract

Education is an important future investment. To educate the life of the nation, a good strategic plan is needed. Education can be divided into three types, namely formal, non-formal, and informal. The implementation of extracurricular activities in PAUD often faces obstacles in its management. Therefore, the management of extracurricular activities in PAUD must be managed seriously. Proper management will have a positive impact on the quality of PAUD. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through literature study. Literature study is a data collection technique by seeking information through scientific journals, reference books, and publications available in libraries.

Abstract

This study focuses on the role of Open Educational Resources (OER), specifically e-books, in student education. With the rapid development of technology, educational institutions are expected to keep up with the advancements in order to provide quality learning experiences. OER, including e-books, are freely available resources that offer cost-saving benefits to students. By accessing OER, students can save money that would have been spent on textbooks and other learning materials. This is particularly beneficial for financially disadvantaged students who may struggle to afford expensive textbooks. Additionally, OER availability can help bridge the educational gap between students from different backgrounds, ensuring equal access to educational resources. The study adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Through interviews with respondents, it was found that OER, especially e-books, are highly relevant in terms of student financial savings. By reducing the cost of textbooks and learning materials, students can save money and access quality learning materials on par with their peers. Overall, OER plays a significant role in minimizing financial burdens and promoting equitable education for all students.
