Abstract

Spiritual well-being in psychology is used to discuss the process of achieving spiritual conditions in individuals. Spiritual well-being is a concept regarding an innate state, has elements of motivation or drive to find the purpose of one's life, is dynamic and subjective in nature, and focuses on a certain uniqueness which is then believed to be the truth. One way to improve spiritual well-being is through dhikr activities, which are usually used as one of the psychotherapies in Islam. Epistemology as a branch of philosophy determines the character of knowledge, even determining the truths that are considered worthy of being accepted, and which ones should be rejected. Therefore, there are a number of questions that are usually asked to examine the issues in epistemology, namely what is knowledge, what are the sources and bases of knowledge? Is this knowledge a definite truth or just a guess? To answer all questions regarding the epistemology of knowledge, this article will examine in more depth the theories of knowledge and truth in epistemology. The method used in writing this article is a literature study. After presenting several explanations from various literature sources, it can be concluded that it is almost impossible to talk about "knowledge" without considering things about "truth".

Abstract

The research was carried out against the background that low learning motivation can be caused by various factors, including the teacher's lack of ability to manage the learning process. In this way, this research aims to find out whether there is a relationship between teachers' classroom management abilities and students' learning motivation at MAS Plus Al-Ulum. The research methodology uses a correlational approach. with a population of 140 students. If the number of subjects is large, between 10-15% or 20-25% or more can be taken. Sample = 28% The data collection technique in this research uses a research instrument, namely a scale. The scale validity data processing tool is implemented using content validity. The results of this research show that the coefficient between the variables classroom management ability (X) and student learning motivation (Y) at MAS Plus Al-Ulum is 0.39. Through the t test carried out, the calculated t value was 2.636, while the t table value was 2.02. This indicates that there is a positive and significant relationship between the variable class management ability (X) and student learning motivation (Y). This relationship is linear and can be predicted using the regression line Ŷ = 67.18 + 0.29.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze leadership styles and working motivation in improving teacher work discipline in Madrasah Tsanawiah (Mts) Al-Ihsan Kalikejambon. The research method used a qualitative method with data collection observation, interviews and documentation involving directly to the principal headmaster and teachers of Madrasah Tsanawiah (Mts) Al-Ihsan Kalikejambon. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that in improving teacher work discipline in Madrasah Tsanawiah (Mts) Al-Ihsan Kalikejambon, the principal applies a democratic leadership style and intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.

Abstract

The BPNT problem which eventually became the background of the research problem began when researchers were visiting one of the food distribution places in Sangiasseri Village in early February 2020, this market is one of the places where the community receives assistance, when researchers conducted research at the place where the community received assistance, researchers listened to residents' complaints where the assistance they received varied, some received IDR 300,000 and some received IDR 600,000. The community explained that the non-cash food assistance program received was usually charged by the management, there were also delays in disbursement where residents received once every three months which became a problem in the BPNT program. In its implementation, the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) program experienced inaccurate targeting where financially capable families received assistance, while poor families did not. So that the socio-economic welfare of beneficiaries has not increased Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) in the socio-economic welfare of beneficiaries, researchers discuss the running of the implementation of BPNT from the Sub-district, Village, RW and RT, BPNT Facilitators, and E-Warong and present findings on obstacles in the BPNT implementation system in the welfare of underprivileged families in Sangiasseri village.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the personality of R.A. Kartini using Albert Bandura's social learning theory, focusing on the concepts of reciprocal determinism, cognition and self-regulation, self-efficacy, self-system, and the stages of learning through behavior. Kartini, a figure who advocated for gender equality and women's education, displayed a strong intrinsic drive despite facing social and cultural barriers. Through Bandura’s theory, this study explores how Kartini’s social environment, internal values, and life experiences influenced her efforts in creating social change. The findings show that Kartini's personality reflects a complex interaction between individual factors, the environment, and behavior, all contributing to her significant achievements in women's rights.

Abstract

This study aims to see the influence of microteaching and peer support on students' interest in becoming teachers in Office Administration Education students of the State University of Jakarta 2022. The research approach used is quantitative through surveys with online questionnaire distribution. Data processing uses the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) application. From the test results, it was found that partially microteaching directly affected students' interest in becoming teachers, this was evidenced by a significant value of 0.025. In addition, partially, peer support did not affect students' interest in the teaching profession, this was evidenced by a significant value of 0.268. Meanwhile, simultaneously microteaching and peer support did not simultaneously affect interest in becoming a teacher, this was evidenced by a significant value of 0.078. In addition, the results were also strengthened by the results of the determination coefficient test which showed that the two independent variables only explained 14.3% of the dependent variables.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of gadget use and self-regulated learning on the learning interest of students majoring in Office Administration Education who take Web Design courses. Through a quantitative approach, data was collected from odd semester students in the 2023/2024 academic year using a validated questionnaire. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that gadget use and self-regulated learning significantly affect learning interest, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.65, which means 65% of the variation in learning interest can be explained by these two variables. Hypothesis testing showed an F-statistic value of 24.56 (df = 2, sig < 0.01), confirming a significant influence between the independent variables and study interest. The results of this study indicate that gadget usage and self-regulated learning have a significant positive influence on the learning interest of students majoring in office administration majoring in web design.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of social support on learning motivation among migrant students at the Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University class of 2022. Migrant students often face challenges in the form of adapting to a new environment, which can influence their learning motivation. Social support, whether from family, friends, or the campus environment, is an important factor in helping this adaptation process. This research identifies types of social support such as emotional, instrumental, informational and self-esteem support, and their influence on learning motivation. Based on existing literature, social support can increase students' self-confidence, which has an impact on higher enthusiasm and motivation to learn. On the other hand, a lack of social support has the potential to cause stress, low self-confidence, and loss of motivation to learn. Using the case study method, this research examines the relationship between social support and the learning motivation of migrant students. The research results show that social support has a positive correlation with learning motivation. External factors, such as the campus environment and lecturers' teaching methods, as well as internal factors, such as personal interests and suitability of the field of study, also influence student learning motivation. This research is expected to provide new insights in increasing the learning motivation of migrant students through strengthening social support.

Abstract

In the teaching and learning process in educational institutions, one should not be separated from a leader in the class and in this case the teacher or lecturer. The teacher as an educator in helping students in the learning process must pay attention to the methods used so that they can make the learning process interesting so that learning objectives can be achieved. The method used must also be able to bridge and overcome boredom and decreased concentration in students. So it is necessary for teachers to implement the ice breaking method as an alternative to overcome boredom and maintain students' concentration so that they remain stable in the learning process. This research aims to develop an ice breaking method in the aspect of increasing concentration in students. This research discusses (1) How does the implementation of the Ice Breaking method increase student concentration in the Development of Teaching Materials course for the PAI Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Unira Malang?, (2) What are the results of applying the ice breaking method in increasing student concentration in the Development course? Abstract

This study aims to describe the principle of perseverance taught by Elijah through his exemplary life, explain Elijah's strategies in facing life's challenges, and identify the meaning of Elijah's faith and its relevance to everyday life. Elijah demonstrated extraordinary perseverance in his obedience to God, as seen in his story in 1 Kings 17:1-6. He remained faithful to the mission given by God, despite facing various challenges, including spiritual conflict, physical threats, social isolation, and inner turmoil. The pinnacle of Elijah's faith is seen in his confrontation with the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, where Elijah challenged idol worship with a strong conviction in God's power. Elijah's experience teaches the importance of maintaining faith in the midst of challenges, consistency in pursuing goals, and nurturing a personal relationship with God as a source of strength. Elijah's life also has relevance in the modern context, especially in terms of empowering leadership, spiritual integrity, moral courage, and commitment to divine truth..
