Abstract

SMEs are one of the sectors that provide many job opportunities in Indonesia. SME Coffee Shop is one of the SME sub-sectors that is experiencing growth in Indonesia. A performance improvement strategy is needed to maximize the performance of SMEs Coffee Shop in order to compete and develop the business. This paper aims to identify the aligment of the SMEs vision, mission, goals and target, create a strategy map, identify Key Performance Indicator, and develop business used Balanced Scorecard method of Notif Coffee. The object of this research is Notif Coffee which is one of Coffee Shop SMEs in West Java. This study used are primary data obtained by structured interview with Notif Coffee owner and secondary data in the form of literature studies. The data processing and analysis method is carried by Key Performance Indicator and Balanced Scorecard consisting four targets, namely finance, learning and growth, internal business, and customer. The research shows that Notif Coffee have many problem in internal business perspective because Key Performance Indicator shows that target is not achived. The result of this research using balanced scorecard analysis with four perspectives led by the learning and growth, followed by the customer perspective, the financial perspective, and internal perspective.

Abstract

The process of buying and selling via internet platforms is referred to as E-commerce. E-commerce has become a worldwide trend in recent years. People from all around the world have begun to purchase things online. Mobile commerce, money transfer, inventory management, and other aspects of electronic commerce are included. With only a few clicks, anyone can send anything to anyone, whether it's money or presents. In the future, electronic commerce might have a significant economic impact. Internet business will permanently alter the face of business. Furthermore, in the twenty-first century, E-commerce will transform banking. E-commerce has had a wide range of effects on the increasing global economy. First and foremost, it has impacted information technology and all economic sectors; above all, E-commerce has boosted global productivity growth and its impact are too high. They are able to determine the number of qualified people required to advance their country's information economy, as well as calculate the amount of investment required to provide businesses with internet access. Some benefits are now in a position to compare their economies to those of their international competitors, and there are numerous ways to boost productivity growth in present emerging markets.

Abstract

The study assessed entrepreneurship education as a tool for self-reliance in Colleges of Education in Adamawa state, Nigeria. It specifically determined the extent to which entrepreneurship education promote educational development, adequacy of resources and identified the constraints facing teaching and learning of entrepreneurship education. Multi-stage random sampling technique was used to sample the respondents in the college of education, where a sampled 106 was drawn. The data obtained were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, rating and lickrt scale. The results revealed that entrepreneurship education encourages students to join businesses (mean score =.62), promotes economic development (mean score =.58) and self-reliance (mean score =4.55). it further revealed that there were inadequate staff (mean score =1.23) teaching environment (mean score =1.19) and materials for learning were inadequate (mean score =1.24). the major constraints facing teaching and learning of entrepreneurship education were inadequate materials for learning (mean score =2.82), skilled personals (mean score =2.78) poor remunerative to staff concern (mean score =2.67) and poor funding (mean score =2.63) it was concluded that education focuses on the overall development of students and the entrepreneurial curriculum system lays the foundation for the overall improvement of students and the entrepreneurial ability. The study recommended both governmental and non-governmental organizations should provide support to the institutions through the provision of funds, facilities and equipment and internship /houseman ship after graduation in entrepreneurship course as students’ industrial work experience scheme programme for all students should be made

Abstract

Only SMEs are successful: Indicates a gap in some effective ways to increase the size of faction while the achieving extraordinary performance and sustainable growth. Purpose – This paper aimed to help fill the gap by identifying factors related to SMEs performances and develop the conceptual framework to explain the relationships. Some literatures showed a positive relationships among the variables; but the relationship is not yet decisive. The field observation and literary assessments suggest a secondary configuration that play a complete role among government supports, training, digital marketing, financial capital and small business performances, and also the risk control. Although the relationships among the six structures of the whole literatures were examined in detail, this article is one of several efforts in the study of six constructs in a comprehensive framework for further research. With empirical support, the proposed framework can provide effective alternatives to help entrepreneurs and small business players to develop their businesses effectively. Methodology/approach – The data was collected by using questionnaires and analyzed the KMO and Barlett’s Test by using SPSS 21 from about 100 respondents as entrepreneurs in small businesses in Medan, Indonesia. Findings – The result showed that all measured variables were >0.50, means that the strong relationships among items need to be investigated. Novelty/value – As SMEs have the important role in economics for developing country like Indonesia, it is vital to understand how to increase the performance of SMEs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions for Samsung smartphones. The research method used is quantitative research. The sampling technique used incidental sampling, with samples taken using the Slovin formula as many as 89 people. Findings Based on the partial test (test) it is known that there is a significant and positive influence between the product quality variables on purchasing decisions. It was also found that product quality contributed 51.6% to purchasing decisions while 48.4% was determined by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

This research is to create a model for the use of village funds for waste management, using the cost sharing method, namely the distribution of financing between the Padang Pariaman Regency APBD and the Village Fund as a transfer from the APBN. The survey method and literature for data collection in this study used village fund documents, district APBN funds, where respondents were asked to provide their responses to the management of village funds in waste management. Abstract

ABSTRACT After 2 years of going through the covid-19 pandemic, now malls or shopping centers can operate normally. Economic growth in Tegal is quite high, changing people's lifestyles and consumption behavior. The consumerism character of the people of Tegal has an impact on the high purchasing power and circulation of money. The fairly high competition does not discourage mall and retail business players from competing competitively. People will look for shopping places that provide comfort, magnificent buildings, exterior and interior form a good image of a mall. This study uses a randomized quantitative approach with the population being Mall visitors in Tegal. The number of samples taken in this study were 100 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, namely samples that were met by chance and met the criteria in this study. The research data was obtained through questionnaires distributed and filled in by the respondents, which would then be processed with SPSS 22. The results of this study found that "The Role of Word-of-Mouth, Shopping Lifestyle and City Walk Concept significantly affects the Brand Image Mall in Tegal".

Abstract

Disaster reflects a multi-fold impact on vulnerable communities such as children, women, and people living with disabilities. The study identifies the multiplier impact of hazard induce disasters, Covid019 pandemic, and regular strikes into poor and marginalized communities. Tried to be unmasking the effectiveness of local support initiatives as social recovery support from the neighbor, communities, non-state actors, and the state. The paper brings out how the social support, and protection practices can scale up its cost in disaster recovery initiates in disaster-affected communities in Gandaki province, Nepal. An online (google) based survey form was developed, and distributed to potential frontline workers, NGO staff, INGO staff, and UN staff based on their project area. Respondents were randomly divided into two groups (local support, and external support) and asked for their supporting practices while the disaster has occurred at the local level, and responses were analyzed at the explanatory level through the regression. While testing the hypothesis that local social support leads to higher resilience capacity in the disaster-affected household with compare to external support, which results showed that local level support was better with comparing of external support during disaster response and recovery. Study results suggested that household, neighbor, and local community support was quick, applicable, and easier to adopt than a comparison of external supporters. Based on the study, further development intervention should be centered on the capacity to strengthen local households, neighborhoods, community-based organizations, and local states rather than expecting external support. The study paper explores the local supporting practices on reconstruction and recovery, which is the novelty approaches in local supporting engagement on speedy recovery initiatives in Nepal.

Abstract

Purpose – This to analyze students' perceptions of entrepreneurial intentions Methodology/approach – The research was conducted on Indonesian students who had already received entrepreneurship courses. The selection of respondent groups was carried out purposively and data were collected through questionnaires distributed through online surveys. The number of respondents involved in this study were 300 respondents. Data analysis used descriptive quantitative for the analysis of respondents' perceptions. Findings – Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that students' perceptions of entrepreneurial intentions were in the middle category in all aspects. Starting a new business by identifying opportunities, Creating something different by identifying opportunities, Develop business by evaluating existing opportunities, Develop skills by evaluating opportunities, and Operating a new business are in the medium category. This shows that the entrepreneurial intention of students from entrepreneurship education is not yet high. There are still students' doubts about running a business. Novelty/value – Entrepreneurial intentions for students at various universities in Indonesia

Abstract

Technical, Vocational, Education and Training (TVET) has been identified as an effective strategy for improving socio-economic development of both developing and developed nations. This study aims at assessing the student’s experience of service quality of TVET in the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, Nigeria. The study reviewed concept of service quality and TVET, reviewed of previous findings from related studies and adopted SERVQUAL model as framework for the study. The population of the study comprised of about 10,250 student during 2021/2022 academic session in the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, Nigeria. The study adopted Krejcie and Morgan sampling technique to have 375 sample size. Primary and secondary sources of data collection were adopted for the study. Data collected were analysed through descriptive and inferential statistics of frequency distribution table, percentage, mean value and linear regression analysis. The study discovered that physical facilities, comfortable classroom, adequate academic resources and appearance of physical facilities are highly ranked tangibility of TVET. Lecturer’s good knowledge, lecturer’s politeness and security measures are highly ranked in assurance of TVET and support staff fairness, lecturers sincere interest on student and lecturer’s teaching capability are highly ranked reliability of TVET. Also, lecturer’s adequate capacity, treatment of complaints by student and support staff availability are highly ranked responsiveness of TVET and, polytechnic fair treatment, support staff attention to students and lecturer’s support to individual students are highly ranked empathy of TVET in the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State Nigeria. Therefore, the study concluded that students are experiencing service quality of TVET in the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro Ogun State Nigeria.
