Abstract

This study focused more on individuals as people who are employed about their work abilities. Individuals need to take responsibility for their personal development, recognize employability and view their careers in terms of broader employability across organizations within a contemporary career framework.  Research on the Perception of Employability needs to be done because some previous studies consider that employability is an organizational asset to improve performance and increase organizational flexibility. In this study, we tested 5 hypothesis that influence Perception of Employability, there are  leader-member exchange, the broad role of self-efficacy, organization-based self-esteem.  The data analysis applied Regression Analysis with SEM PLS. The response rate was 97.52% or as many as 323 questionnaires. The findings Leader-Member Exchange has a positive effect on the Perception of Employability, Leader-Member Exchange has a positive effect on Organization-Based Self-Esteem, Leader-Member Exchange has a positive effect on the extent of the role of self-efficacy. Organization-Based Self-Esteem has a positive effect on Perception of Employability and the extent of the role of self-efficacy has a positive effect on the Perception of Employability.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between entrepreneurial mentality and local wisdom on organizational resilience with the variable innovation as a medium for this relationship. This research was conducted on Nusantara UMKM in Palembang City.Methodology/approaches: The approach to be used in this study is a quantitative research method. This study develops a path analysis model to test the hypotheses that have been developed. The population in this study were 300 entrepreneurs from UMKM Nusantara in Palembang City. The sample used in this study were 61 entrepreneurs.Findings:The results of the study show that product innovation, local wisdom and entrepreneurial mentality have a positive and significant effect on organizational resilience. Local wisdom and entrepreneurial mentality have a positive and significant effect on product innovation. Product innovation mediates the influence of entrepreneurial mentality and local wisdom on organizational resilience Novelty/value:In this study in the context of SMEs, innovation behavior is a variable that is quite important, especially in dealing with the complexity and dynamics that occur in the world of SMEs. This result also underlines that the relationship between these variables can also occur possibly because the education of the respondents is high enough so that it can help the cognitive of the respondents in making an innovation to support their businesses and in the end they are able to survive even in an uncertain environment.

Abstract

The Pharmaceutical Industry generates short-term profits that support the need of handling Covid-19. Based on this explanation, this study aims to determine the company's financial performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic and compare the company’s financial performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in the pharmaceutical sub-sector listed on the IDX for the 2018-2021 period. Research using a purposive sampling method. Thus, 10 samples were obtained from 11 pharmaceutical sub-sector companies. The analysis technique used is the normality test, homogenity test, and paired sample t-test. Statistical calculations use the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 application. The results show that the company's financial performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in the pharmaceutical sub-sector as measured using the Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Return On Assets have values that are well above the standard. industrial value. While Total Assets Turnover produces a value that is not good below the industry standard value. So that there are 3 conditions of poor company performance such as INAF, KAEF, and PEHA, while there are 7 good company conditions such as DVLA, KLBF, MERK, PYFA, SCPI, SIDO, and TSPC. Comparison of the Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Assets Turnover, and Return On Assets before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in the pharmaceutical sub-sector listed on the IDX showed no significant differences partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

This study was carried out to ascertain the impact of financial innovations by commercial banks on financial inclusion in the Kabale district. The specific goals were to ascertain the relationship between institutional innovations and financial inclusion, examine the relationship between process innovation and financial inclusion among rural households, and examine the relationship between product innovation and financial inclusion among rural households. The studies descriptive and cross-sectional research designs combined qualitative and quantitative methods for data collecting and analysis. Using questionnaires and interviews, data was gathered from a sample of 396 respondents as well as additional important informants. Microsoft EXCEL and SPSS Version 21.0 were used to analyze the data and produce both descriptive and inferential statistic . The study's findings support the statistically significant link between commercial banks' financial innovations and rural families' access to credit. As more clients choose mobile banking, the report advises banking institutions to develop measures to improve security in the platform. The report also advises making these platforms straightforward and simple to use in order to attract more users to the business. Additionally, because mobile banking has an impact on financial inclusion, banks should make sure to support mobile banking services by incorporating mobile phone usage as one of their innovations

Abstract

  This study evaluated the performance of small and medium businesses in Kabale District in relation to microfinance institution services. The precise goals were to determine how financial literacy education, managerial skill development, and marketing assistance provided through SME clubs and marketing associations affected the performance of small and medium-sized businesses. The study was descriptive in nature, and the data collecting and analysis methods used were quantitative. A questionnaire was used to collect data from a sample of 71 different SME owners and other relevant informants. Microsoft EXCEL and SPSS Version 22.0 were used to analyze the data and produce both descriptive and inferential statistics. The study concluded. Savings literacy, debt literacy, and investment literacy programs helped business owners safely manage their income, expenses, and savings, make clear financial decisions, repay loans on time, and diversify their investments, all of which boosted the performance of SMEs. By enhancing SME governance, boosting business vision through achieved goals and plans, and inspiring employees to work hard for better, the development of managerial skills positively impacted the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises. This ensured SMEs' capacity to compete, survive, and thrive in a dynamic environment. The study further supported the idea that SMEs performed better when marketing was facilitated through SME clubs and marketing groups.

Abstract

Purpose –Pangandaran is still the prima donna of beach tourism in West Java and a favorite tourist destination for domestic tourists so that the Pangandaran area becomes one of the leading tourist areas that has the potential to become a Global Geopark area. This condition is in line with Pangandaran's strength as a mainstay natural tourist destination in West Java which displays aspects of its geodiversity through unique and distinctive rock formations and natural phenomena. Geopark status owned by an area is expected to be able to increase the number of tourist visits that contribute to local economic development. However, there is an imbalance in the visits of domestic tourists and foreign tourists to the Pangandaran tourist area. Methodology/approaches –The method used in this study is verification with the population, namely tourists who have visited the Pangandaran Tourism Area throughout 2021 at least once. The analytical method used is Spearman's rank correlation, the coefficient of determination, and the t test with a significance level of five percent. Findings –This study supports previous studies where the destination image has an influence on the behavioral intention of tourists with a magnitude of 62.09%.
