Abstract

This case study describes an interview on the risk of suicide to a homeless woman in a social lodge in Surabaya, referred to as YS, which shows the symptoms of suicidal tendencies. The interview assessment used is a structured interview guide from the NSW department of health (2010) about the risk of suicide in individuals. The results of the suicidal risk assessment interview on the subject of YS ie the subject has ever thought about committing suicide. The originator is related to the problem in the sticky figure, namely the family. Other triggers include neglect from close relatives, until finally the subject is entrusted to Liponsos. The subject explained that he had tried to kill himself and hurt himself in the early months of 2017. The subject had tried to wash his hands until his hands were bleeding. The subject also stabbed himself using a pin even today. The subject considered death a scary thing, but on the other hand the subject also felt awry. The subject claimed that he already had a plan to end his life, but he was confused because it was impossible to end his life in Liponsos, even though he thought that in Liponsos there were also residents who died. The dynamics of YS suicidal risk trends will be explained in this case study report.

Abstract

Religiosity is deemed essential for humans, especially when humans entered the elderly. Increased relationship with their religion will improve the health and psychological well-being of the elderly. The purpose of this study is to conduct psychometric analysis of the religiosity scale based on the context of Islamic religion. The sample consisted of 205 elderly with aged criteria above 60 years. This scale was developed based on the multi-dimensional structure of religiosity theory, are: the ideological (acceptance of the belief system); the feeling (subjective and emotional religious experience as an expression of personal religiousness); the ritualistic (participation in religious activities and practices); the intellectual (knowledge of the belief system); and the consequential (ethical consequences of the belief system). The measurement method with reliability test uses Cronbach’s alpha and internal validity measurement using corrected item-total correlation and exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The results show that the scale has consistency and has items that are feasible to explain the variables of religiosity

Abstract

The online-based transportation is very helpful for people in doing activities. Besides being easy to reach, online transportation also offers cheap and fast prices. One company that develops online transportation is Go-Jek. The presence of Go-jek is a negative thing for conventional transportation services., Conventional transportation drivers conduct large-scale demonstrations until anarchic action against Go-Jek drivers. Although there are problems on the road, Go-Jek drivers committed to the company in carrying out their duties. With these problems, Go-Jek drivers are required to be patient, they persevere to keep working. This is interesting to study. Therefore this research is important to do, because it aims to see how patience and work commitment of Go-Jek drivers. The sample of research subjects was 95 people. The results of this study indicate that most Go-Jek motorcycle drivers have a low level of patience and work commitment

Abstract

Breast cancer survivors feel stressed and weak when receiving a verdict, but not a few of them are able to rise up and submit to God that they will be cured. The results aims to determine the relationship between religiosity and resilience in breast cancer survivors. The method is bivariate correlational. Subject of this study is 35 breast cancer survivors of Bandung Cancer Society. The measuring instrument were the Religiusity Scale and Resilience Scale. The results showed that religiosity with resilience in breast cancer survivors has a positive relationship with a correlation value of 0.597 or moderate level of correlation, coefficient of determination is 0.356 or 35.64%. Religiosity aspects that have the highest contribution value are forgiveness aspects with a contribution value of 0.913, and the aspect of resilience which has the highest contribution value in increasing resilience is the aspect of work engagement with a contribution value of 0.917.

Abstract

Physical appearance for young women is important to show their existence. Physical and body condition and face are ideal images that are expected by every teenager. Various efforts are made by most teenagers to improve their image in order to get positive from the environment. Gratitude is important for overcoming the difficulties of excessive body maintenance. Gratitude and body image are interesting things to study so this research is to understand the relationship between gratitude and body image in Bandung X Senior High School students. The research subjects were 36 female high school students who had ideal body weight through the calculation of the Body Mess Index (BMI). The researcher developed two research measuring instruments, namely the Gratitude Scale from the concepts of Al Qayyim and Abdul Syukur and body image from Cash, 2002. The data analysis technique used was the Spearman test analysis. The results of the analysis obtained the participation coefficient r of 0.590 (p = 0,000; p> 0.05). These results indicate that there is a significant relationship between gratitude and higher body image, gratitude, the more positive the body image.
