Abstract

The objective of this study was to find out the effect of the school environment, the role of teachers and the Students Learning Interest on the Motivating to Learn Physical Education and Health Sciences at Elementary School InpresButtatianang I of Makassar. The type of this research is descriptive analysis with research design using Path Analysis. The population is the fifth grade students Elementary School InpresButtatianang I of Makassar. There are 28 students. The technique to determining the sample is in a population that is affordable. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis by using SPSS 18 for windows. The results of this study indicated that (1) Elementary School InpresButtatianang I of Makassar, has a direct influence on school environment that is significant to students' learning interest on the Physical Education and Health Sciences amount 40.26%. (2) the direct influence of the teacher's significant role in student learning interest on Physical Education and Health Sciences amount 31.36%. (3) the influence of school environment in student learning motivation on Physical Education and Health Sciences subjects amount 9.48%. (4) the direct influence of the teacher's role in student motivation on Physical Education and Health Sciences subjects amount 63.04%. (5) the influence of learning interest in student learning motivation on Physical Education and Health Sciences amount 24.32%. (6) the influence of school environment in student learning motivation on Physical Education and Health Sciences through learning interest amount 77.88%. (7) the influence of teacher's role in students' learning motivation on Physical Education and Health Sciences subjects through learning interest amount 77.88%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk:(1) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh model latihan crossover terhadap hasil belajar dribbling dalam permainan bolabasket pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene, (2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh model latihan high or speed terhadap hasil belajar dribbling dalam permainan bolabasket pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene, dan (3) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh model latihan crossover dan model latihan high or speed terhadap hasil belajar dribbling dalam permainan bolabasket pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene kelas X dan XI dengan jumlah sampel penelitian 40 siswa yang dipilih secara random sampling. Kemudian sistem pembagian kelompok menggunakan maching ordinal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriftip, uji persyaratan, teknik analisis uji t berpasangan dan analisis uji t tidak berpasangan dengan menggunakan sistem SPSS Versi 16.00 pada taraf signifikan 95% atau a0,05. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis data, maka penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) Ada pengaruh model latihan crossover terhadap hasil belajar dribbling dalam permainan bolabasket pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene. Hasil belajar dribbling dalam permainan bolabasket pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene terbukti dengan adanya peningkatan dari nilai rata-rata 13,2000 meningkat menjadi 22,1000; (2) Ada pengaruh model latihan high or speed terhadap hasil belajar dribbling dalam permainan bolabasket pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene. Hasil belajar dribbling dalam permainan bolabasket pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene terbukti dengan adanya peningkatan dari nilai rata-rata 13,0500 meningkat menjadi 20,5500; dan (3) Ada perbedaan pengaruh antara model latihan crossover dan model latihan high or speed terhadap hasil belajar dribbling dalam permainan bolabasket pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene. Hasil belajar dribbling dalam permainan bolabasket pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene sebesar 22,1000 < 20,5500. Kesimpulan bahwa model latihan crossover memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan model latihan high or speed terhadap hasil belajar dribbling dalam permainan bolabasket pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene.

Abstract

The difficulty of students in carrying out basic techniques on learning material to shot put is the background of this study. There were still many students who have not been correct in carrying out a series of repulsion movements. This study aims to determine the application of the PAKEM (Active, Creative, Effective and Fun Learning) method to improve learning of shot put to students in the 5th grade students of SDN 163/8 Muara Tabir Tebo.The research method used PTK design which was carried out in two cycles. The subjects of this research were 24 students of the 5th grade students of SDN 163/8 Sungai Jernih Muara Tabir, Tebo. The data of shot put results were obtained through performance tests and observation sheets were used to collect data on student activities in following the learning process of shot put using the PAKEM method. The results of this study were obtained based on the assessment of three aspects namely psychomotor, affective, and cognitive. The results of the assessment shown that there was a significant increase from the condition of cycle I to cycle II. The results of the assessment of learning shot put obtained from the first cycle were as many as 15 students or the percentage of completeness 71.3%. Whereas in cycle II there was an increase to 20 students or the percentage of completeness to be 83, 3%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that learning shot put through the PAKEM method can improve the learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SDN 163/8 Sungai Jernih Muara Tabir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilator belakangi oleh pembelajaran IPS yamg selama ini masih berpusat kepada guru. Sehingga berlangsung pembelajaran IPS yang membosankan. Disamping itu standar ketuntasan dalam pembelajaran IPS yang diinginkan belum tercapai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan pembelajaran IPS melalui pendekatan Konstruktivisme yang meliputi (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, dan (3) hasil belajar. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif sederhana. Data penelitian ini berupa informasi tentang proses dan data hasil tindakan yang diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan, hasil tes, diskusi dan dokumentasi. Sumber data adalah proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS melalui pendekatan Konstruktivisme di kelas IV. Subjek peneliti adalah guru (observer), peneliti (praktisi) dan siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah sebanyak 15 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model analisis data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus 1 sebagian siswa belum terbiasa dengan menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivisme sehinnga dilakukan tindakan dengan memberi penjelasan kepada siswa tentang langkah-langkah pendekatan konstruktivisme. Pada siklus dua siswa sudah terbiasa dengan pembelajaran konstruktivisme, sehingga aktivitas siswa meningkat, dari hasil observasi aktivitas siswa siklus 1 siswa tuntas 68% dengan nilai rata-rata 7,4 dan pada siklus II nilai kentuntasan siswa 87% dengan nilai rata-rata 9,1.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to present the result of a study conducted to describe analysis of problem faced by first year students of STKIP Muhammadiyah Muaro Bungo in writing cause and effect essay. This study was a descriptive research design. This research conducted by involving all students of first year students of English Department of STKIP Muhammadiyah Muaro Bungo academic year 2017/2018. Instrument of research were writing test and interview. The findings showed that the students got low score in writing cause and effect essay. It was shown that 16 students ( 88,89%) had difficulties in writing cause and effect essay. There were 12 students (66,67%) had difficulties in organizing ideas, 16 students (88,89%) had difficulties in using correct grammar, 10 students ( 55,56%) had difficulties in using appropriate words, 14 students ( 77,77% ) had difficulties in using transition goal, 9 students ( 50 % ) had difficulties in using mechanics. The causes of this problem were Interlingua transfer, intralingua transfer and vocabulary. Thus, the researchers expect that the writing lecturers are able to give good writing technique, and the students can do more exercises to increase their skill in writing.

Abstract

The objectives of the research were to know the implementation of learning cell technique to improve students’ reading comprehension and to find out the students’ perception of using learning cell technique. This research design was classroom action research at the seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Tangerang. The participants of this research were 34 students. They were consisting of 17 male students and 17 female students of seventh grade students at SMPN 2 Tangerang. The data collection techniques in this research were written tests, observation, questionnaire and interview. The interview was done for 20 students of thirty four students at the seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Tangerang. The data collective and analysis used qualitative data which was supported by quantitative data. This research was done from October to November 2017. The finding of the research showed that implementation of learning cell technique could be effective and can improved students’ reading comprehension. It can be seen from the finding of students score from cycle 1 to cycle three. The data showed the students’ tests score improved. The students who passed the standard score (KKM) in cycle one was 56.7%, cycle 2 was 67.7% and cycle 3 was 96.8%.

Abstract

The ability of understanding mathematical concepts and communication skills was a math learning goals stated by the Ministry of Education, and was a very important aspect in learning mathematics. Lack of communication skills and understanding of mathematical concepts students will affect the quality of student learning that result in low student achievement in school, it was also happening in SMP N Lembah Gumanti. Coperative learning group learning strategies was one alternative to improve the liveliness and creativity of students in learning. This research is a Quasi Experiment. The population in this study were students of SMP N Lembah Gumanti District. The samples in this study were students of class VIII 2 SMPN 2 Lembah Gumanti as experimental class and VIII A SMPN 1 grade students as a class randomly selected controls. Instrument used was a written test. The data obtained were analyzed using test mann- whitney u. The results showed that the ability of understanding the overall concept and capable students who are taught by low initial learning activen learning higher than students taught with conventional learning, communication skills and capable overall high initial learning strategies taught by ctiven learning higher than the students who taught by conventional learning.

Abstract

This research is aimed to determine; 1) The characteristics of professionalism and certified teachers to pass a competency test, 2) efforts of teachers in the implementation of learning and 3) the role of the principal to improve teacher performance. This research is a descriptive research. Subject of the study consisted of a certified teacher, Headmaster. Data collection technique used observation, questionnaire, and documentation. Mechanical analysis of data through data reduction, data presentation, and decision making. The results showed: 1) Master certified and pass a competency test mastering professional competencies which include mastery of materials, structure, concept and mindset of scientific support of teaching subjects and develop professionalism in a sustainable manner by taking action reflective. Teachers master pedagogic competence which includes mastery of the characteristics of learners, mastering learning theory and principles of educational learning, curriculum development, implementing the learning activities that educate, communicate with students and conducting assessment or evaluation. 2) As an attempt to overcome these barriers are: a) to optimize the use of various methods and learning media are varied and provide reinforcement or appreciation to students who ask and who has answered the question, b) The role of the principal to improve teacher performance are: Sought to find another solution for the learning process continues to run smoothly in accordance with lesson plans that have been made so as not to harm the students. Implementation of learning undertaken by teachers has been good functionally, technically tatapi lies in the low motivation and activeness in the learning process, in addition to the management of infrastructure is not maximized learning.

Abstract

Learning chemistry in solutions of material requires a very high kreaktifitas can improve students critical stance to state opinions in determining the concentration of the substance.For that lecturer required creative in the selection and application of strategy, method, model or approach.This research aims to know the influence of learning model of Discovery Learning and motivation towards the critical attitude of college students on the material of the solution in the Faculty of Agriculture University of Muara Bungo lesson 2017/2018 year. The research is the research experiments against the 2 samples, and every class is the class totaled 30 students with each given different treatment.Research data obtained from the now late for second class sample.Now the end result is analyzed by using normaliatas, its homogeneity test and analysis of varian (ANAVA) one lanes. Research results show that F > F count table i.e. 8,23> 4,18, Concluded that there are perngaruh motivation and critical attitude of students taught a method of discovery learning.

Abstract

Reading is one of skills which is crucial to be taught in the Elementary School. SQ4R (survey, question, read, reflect, and review) strategy is one of the alternatives that could be used to improve the students’ reading comprehension. The aim of this research was to describe the implementation of SQ4R strategy in improving the students’ reading comprehension skill in pre-reading, whilst-reading and post-reading in the fifth grade of SD Negeri 51/II Desa Paku Aji Kecamatan Tanah Sepenggal Lintas Kabupaten Bungo. This was a Classroom Action Research. The result of date analysis indicated that the use of SQ4R strategy could improve the students’ reading comprehension skill in pre-reading, whilst-reading and post-reading in the fifth grade of SD Negeri 51/II Desa Paku Aji.
