Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Trichoderma sp. and kinds of manure on growth and production of green mustard greens. This research was conducted in Sawocangkring Village, Wonoayu Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency with land height 5 meter above sea level. This research was factorially prepared in a randomized block design (RAK) with two factors and repeated three times. The first factor is the appli- cation of Trichoderma sp. Consists of: without Trichoderma sp., Trichoderma sp. isolates Tc-Jjr-02, and Trichoderma sp. isolate Tc-Pjn-01. The second factor is the kind of manure consisting of: without fertilizer, chicken manure, cow manure. Variables observed: plant length, number of leaves, stem diameter, wet weight and dry weight of plant stems, wet weight and root dry weight, indexpanen. The data obtained from this study were ana- lyzed statistically by using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by the test of honest difference (BNJ) with 5% level. The results showed there is a interaction effect between the application of Trichoderma sp. and manure type to plant length, number of leaves, and stem diameter. The best treatment is treated without Trichoderma sp. (control) and chicken manure (T0P1) resulted in plant length 25,77 cm, leaf number 9 leaf, stem diam- eter 0,69 cm, wet weight of plant stover 34,03 gr, dry weight of plant stem 8.10 gr, wet root weight 1.67 gr, dry weight of roots 0.77 gr, and harvest index 0.89.

Abstract

This study attempts to influence some kind of mengtahui ZPT on the growth of mulberry ( Morus alba L. ). The study is done for 2 months and November 2018 until January 2019. The research was done in Perum Mutiara Citra Asri Blok D4 no 4. This study using the random complete (RAL). That is the single factor concentration ZPT consisting of treatment 8 and each doses 2cc and 3cc covering ZPT chemical; extract onion; extract bean sprouts; excrescence bananas with three times repeat. Observation in this research include, time to germinate, long shoots, number of leaves, the number of roots, long roots, broad leaves, wet weight, and dry weights. Data analysis using anova followed by the BNJ 5%. The results of the study kind of natural and chemical ZPT influential on the growth of graft stems mulberry in treatment time to germinate, the number of shoots, long shoots, and number of leaves, but gave no the effect on treatment broad leaves, the number of roots, long roots, wet weight and weights dry.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of planting media and different spacing on the growth of Pakchoi mustard plants using the wick hydroponic system. This research is conducted at the Green House of the Faculty of Science and Tech- nologyMuhammadiyah Sidoarjo University from January to March 2019.using factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) repeatet 3 times with the first factor planting media consisting of, dacron (M1), planting media bagasse (M2), rockwol (M3) planting media. The second factor is the plant space which is consisting of, 10x10 cm (JT1), 15x15 cm (JT2), 20x20 cm (JT3). Data analysis showed that on the observation of leaf area and wet weight per plot there are a real interaction with the planting medium with spacing. The treatment of planting media significantly affected leaf area, wet weight per plant, wet weight per plot, number of leaves and root volume in the rockwol M3 planting media treatment give better results. In the treatment of spacing gives a significant effect on leaf area, weight per plot, and number of leaves, in treatment of 10x10 cm JT3 spacing gives better results.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of intercropping and leaf fertilizer on the growth and production of chili, eggplant and tomato plants. This research was conducted in the village of Jiken, Tulangann Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency, starting in January 2019 until April 2019. The research was arranged factorial using a randomized block design followed by BNJ 5% was repeated 3 times with the first factor being intercropping con- sisting of intercropping of chili with tomatoes (T1) and intercropping chili with eggplant (T2). The second factor is without the use of leaf fertilizer (D0), using leaf fertilizer with complex micro content (D1) and using leaf fertilizer with macro and micro content (D2). Variables observed were plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, weight of fruit. The results showed that there was no interaction between intercropping and leaf fertilizer on the growth and production of chili, the intercropping treatment had a significant effect on the growth and yield of chili production, while in the treatment of leaf fertilizer there was a significant effect on the number of chili leaves at 35 HST.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the treatment of supplemen- tary liquid hyacinth fertilizer on the character of growth and production of green spinach plants. This research was carried out in Keboan Anom Gedangan Sidoarjo Village, Octo- ber to December 2018. This study used a single randomized block design (RBD) using variance analysis a 5% BNJ test which was repeated four times with the concentration factor of PPC hyacinth goiter which consists of 6 types, namely the concentration of 0% (T0), concentration of 10% (T1), concentration of 20% (T2), concentration of 30% (T3), concentration of 40% (T4), concentration of 50% (T5). Observastion variable included plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, stem diameter, wet weight, dry weight, harvest indexs. The result showed a significant effect on the harvest indexs, sig- nificantly affected plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of branches, while the wet weight showed a significant effect, and dry weight had a very significanr effect. And treament of T5 (30 ml/liter) the highhest average yield in wet weight is 10.43 grams.

Abstract

This study aims to find effect of POC and pruning on the growth and production of okra (Abelmoschous esculentus). This research was conducted in Tulangan, Sidoarjo from December 2018 until March 2019. Research design used Randomized Block Design (RAK) with two factors. The first factor POC was P1 (1 ml/L), P2 (2 ml/L), and P3 (3 ml/L), second factor was pruning of branch C0 (without pruning), C1 (1x pruning), and C2 (2x pruning). The data obtained where then analyzed using ANOVA followed by BNJ 5%. The result showed there was significant interaction between POC and pruning on total dryed weight of plant and harvest index of okra. POC was significant effected on the all parameters of growth and production of okra. Pruning of branches was significant effect of talled of the plant and total of leaves. The best treatment was POC 3 ml/L and 1x pruning had plant lenght 47,44 cm, number of leaves 12,65 strands, rods diameters 1,04 cm, number of fruit 18,31, wet weight fruit 9,08 ton/ha, dry weight fruit 3,03 ton/ha and harvest index 0,79.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effect of vermicompost fertilizer and EM4 on the growth and production of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum). This research was conducted in the village of Penatarsewu Tanggulangin District Sidoarjo Regency, start from October 2018 until January 2019. Experiments are arranged factorially by using a Randomized Environmental Plan (RAK) which was repeated three times. The first factor is the dose vermicompost fertilizer 100 gr/plant (D1), t 200 gr/plant (D2), 300 gr/plant (D3) and 400 gr/plant (D4). The second factor with EM4 that is without EM4 (E0) and with EM4 (E1). The variables observed are plant high, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, number of fruits, fruit weight, and plant weight. The results show that interaction the observation of plant high, the dose vermicompost fertilizer significant effect of observation number of leaves, leaf area, number of fruits, fruit weight, and plant weight. The gift EM4 signifi- cant effect of observation plant high and number of leaves. The results of the study say that treatment dose vermicompost fertilizer 400 gr/plant (D4) and giving EM4 (E1) on the growth and production of tomato is better.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of trimming with a wide variety of growing media hydroponic system fertigation on growth and yield of melon. Research will be conducted in the green house (House of plastic) UMSIDA Agriculture Faculty, Campus 2, Gelam, Candi, Sidoarjo, research time between the months of March to June 2016 using analysis of variance and continued test HSD 5%. The variables measured were plant height, leaf number, level of sweetness of fruit, fruit weight, high-fruit, thickness of the flesh of the fruit, conclusion from this research is going on the effect of trimming and a wide variety of growing media hydroponic system fertigation in treatment PM5 (trimming down, kokopit). There was also a real influence on the treatment PM6 (without pruning, kokopit) .In observation of plant height, leaf number, fruit weight, and high fruit. And also happens to influence a wide range of growing media on growth and yield of melon on hydroponics fertigation system, the PM6 treatment (without pruning, kokopit) had the highest rates in the observation of plant height, weight of the fruit, and the number of leaves.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the relationship between storage temperature and sorbitol concentration on the shelf life of strawberries. The research was carried out in the Agrotechnology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture-Animal Husbandry, University of Muhammadiyah Malang in October to November 2018. The design of the experiment used a randomized nested design. The first factor is the storage temperature namely T1 (room temperature) and T2 (cold temperature of 100 C), the second factor is sorbitol concentration which is P0 (without treatment), P1 (5%), P2 (10%), P3 (15%), P4 (20%), P5 (25%), the observed variables were weight loss, fruit volume, fruit hardness, percentage of disease severity, disease attack intensity, fruit shelf life, vitamin C content, and total dissolved solids. The results showed no interaction between storage temperature treatment and sorbitol concentration on the shelf life of strawberries. Temperature of 100 C significantly affected the parameters of weight loss, fruit volume, fruit hardness, percentage of disease severity, intensity of disease attack, vitamin C levels, total dissolved solids, and the shelf life of strawberries. The treatment of sorbitol concentration did not significantly affect the parameters of weight loss, fruit volume, fruit hardness, percentage of disease severity, disease intensity, vitamin C levels, total dissolved solids and shelf life of strawberries. Temperature of 100 C is able to maintain the shelf life of fruit up to 14 days, 25% sorbitol concentration is able to extend the shelf life of strawberries at room temperature for 7 days.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of a combination of liquid organic fertilizer and organic media on the growth and yield of red chili (Capsicum annum L.). The research was conducted at the Greenhouse, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The research was arranged in a factorial with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two treatment factors. The first factor is three types of liquid organic fertilizer for Lamena Leaf Plants, Fish Manure Liquid Organic Fertilizer, Liquid Organic Fertilizer Combination of Vegetable Leaves and Fish Manure with a concentration of 15 ml / liter. The second factor consists of four types, namely soil and cow dung, goat manure and soil, soil and horse manure. Data obtained in Analysis Of Variance (Annova) and continued with HSD 5%. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, wet weight, dry weight, number of fruit plants and fruit weight. The results showed that the combination of fish waste liquid organic fertilizer and the combination of organic media showed the interaction of the portion of the observation variable, namely the high number of fruit plants and dry weight. On (a combination of animal liquid organic fertilizer and soil organic media) showed the highest treatment dose and (liquid organic fertilizer a combination of animal and soil organic media and goat manure) showed the lowest treatment on the impact of plants. In a single treatment, liquid organic fertilizer does not have a significant effect on all observation variables.
