Abstract

School period is a crucial stage in determining the direction of student’s careers, especially at the junior high school level. The majority of students at the junior high school level do not yet have a clear picture of their career plans. This study aims to help students understand career planning using a psychoeducational approach. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a one-group pre-posttest design. The participants in this study consisted of 20 ninth-grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Masyhudiyah who were selected based on low pre-test scores. The research process consisted of three stages: pre-test, psychoeducation treatment, and post-test. The data analysis of this study used the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study indicate that career planning psychoeducation is effective in improving students' career planning abilities. Career planning psychoeducation can be used as a method that can be used by teachers to help students plan their careers and futures more maturely.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) in reducing neurotic levels among 10th-grade students at SMA Ibrahimy 2 Sukorejo, Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Sukorejo. SEFT is a therapeutic method that integrates energy psychology with a spiritual approach to address emotional, physical, and mental disorders holistically. The research employed a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design, utilizing total sampling of 126 students with very high neurotic levels. The Neuroticism Scale Questionnaire (NSQ) was used to measure changes in neurotic levels before and after the intervention. Paired sample t-test analysis revealed a significant reduction in neurotic levels after the therapy, with a t-value of 18.79 and p = 0.000. The average pretest score of 53.54 decreased to 43.29 in the posttest, indicating a significant difference. This study concludes that SEFT is effective in reducing neurotic levels among high school students and can be recommended as an intervention to support students' mental health, particularly in the context of Islamic boarding school education.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of implementing language stimulation in early childhood with a history of stunting. This research focuses on early childhood suffering from stunting and wasting. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study research design. The results showed that vocabulary mastery is influenced by several factors including limited interaction and communication with the surrounding environment, lack of education and stimulus for children's vocabulary mastery. The results of this study also show that language stimulation in post-stunting children can help optimize children's brain function. Early childhood children who receive language stimulation tend to be more directed and experience improvements in recognizing new words and communication skills to become more confident in using words to express ideas and emotions.

Abstract

Adolescents living in orphanages face various psychosocial conditions that can affect subjective well-being, such as separation from their families and the demands of adjusting to their environment. Subjective well-being reflects an individual's evaluation of their life, including life satisfaction and positive and negative affective experiences. One internal factor that is theoretically assumed to be related to subjective well-being is self-acceptance. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-acceptance and subjective well-being in adolescents living in Christian/Catholic orphanages. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design involving 60 adolescents selected using total sampling technique. The research instruments consist of a self-acceptance scale and a subjective well-being scale. Data analysis was performed using Pearson's correlation. The results of the analysis show that the relationship between self-acceptance and subjective well-being is not significant. These findings can be interpreted to mean that the subjective well-being of adolescents in orphanages is more influenced by external factors, such as social support from caregivers and peers, interpersonal relationships, and the orphanage environment, than by internal factors such as self-acceptance.

Abstract

Resilience is an individual's ability to bounce back after experiencing stress or difficult situations in the work environment. Emotional intelligence and self-efficacy are thought to play a significant role in shaping this psychological resilience. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and self-efficacy with employee resilience. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The subjects in this study were employees working at PT Kharisma SF Sidoarjo. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a population of 250 people. Referring to the Krejcie & Morgan table, 150 participants were obtained. The instruments used in this study included an emotional intelligence scale, a self-efficacy scale, and a resilience scale. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed a highly significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence and self-efficacy with employee resilience. This finding demonstrates the importance of developing emotional intelligence and self-efficacy as supporting factors for psychological resilience in the workplace.

Abstract

Technological advances encourage the development of digital marketing, including the use of beauty influencers in promoting beauty products. This phenomenon then led to impulse buying behavior in consumers of beauty products. This study aims to determine the effect of beauty influencers on impulse buying behavior on beauty products. Respondents in this study were 114 social media users who follow beauty influencers and have purchased products reviewed by beauty influencers. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed through social media. The scale used in this study is the Impulse Buying Tendency Scale from Verplanken and Herabadi (2001). The data analysis technique used spearman rank correlation with the help of the SPSS version 23 program. The results showed that the two variables had a significant relationship with a significance value of 0.004 < 0.05. Meanwhile, the relationship between the two variables has a fairly strong relationship with a correlation coefficient value of 0.271. This finding indicates that the higher the influence of influencers, the higher the impulse buying behavior on beauty products

Abstract

Disciplinary problems among students, such as tardiness, truancy, and lack of readiness to learn, remain an issue at SMPN 17 Mataram. This study examines the impact of behavior contracts on reducing these behaviors among five eighth-grade students with high rates of disciplinary issues. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used. The subjects (AI, MS, AZ, RS, AA) were selected based on the guidance counselor's recommendations. Data were collected through interviews with the guidance counselor and students, non-participant observation at the school gate for three days, focus group discussions, and documentation of attendance records. The intervention consisted of six group counseling sessions, utilizing behavior contract techniques to establish behavioral goals, written contracts, journal monitoring, and positive reinforcement. Thematic data analysis was conducted through coding and triangulation of sources. The results showed that indiscipline was related to weak self-regulation, irregular sleep patterns, excessive use of gadgets, peer conformity, and minimal parental supervision. After the intervention, the frequency of tardiness decreased, truancy stopped, readiness to learn increased, and sleep patterns and personal responsibility improved. These findings prove that group counseling with behavior contracts is effective as a guidance strategy to reduce indiscipline and foster discipline in junior high schools.

Abstract

Technological advances in the Society 5.0 era require companies to continue to develop sustainably, relying on human resources as a key element of success. In this context, Generation Z, which dominates the world of work today, brings unique characteristics that influence work preferences, technology use, and social values. This demographic change presents challenges as well as opportunities for companies to create an ideal organizational culture for Generation Z. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to various scientific articles reviewed to analyze organizational culture that can support Generation Z employees in adapting and making optimal contributions in the world of work. The results of the review of twenty articles concluded that organizational culture influences employees, especially Generation Z. The ideal organizational culture for Generation Z employees is a culture that is inclusive, adaptive, and supports self-development and work-life balance. This culture does not only depend on one variable but involves various other factors. From this SLR research, it can later be used as a reference for all organizations/companies to improve organizational culture towards their employees, especially Generation Z
