Abstract

School period is a crucial stage in determining the direction of student’s careers, especially at the junior high school level. The majority of students at the junior high school level do not yet have a clear picture of their career plans. This study aims to help students understand career planning using a psychoeducational approach. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a one-group pre-posttest design. The participants in this study consisted of 20 ninth-grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Masyhudiyah who were selected based on low pre-test scores. The research process consisted of three stages: pre-test, psychoeducation treatment, and post-test. The data analysis of this study used the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study indicate that career planning psychoeducation is effective in improving students' career planning abilities. Career planning psychoeducation can be used as a method that can be used by teachers to help students plan their careers and futures more maturely.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) in reducing neurotic levels among 10th-grade students at SMA Ibrahimy 2 Sukorejo, Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Sukorejo. SEFT is a therapeutic method that integrates energy psychology with a spiritual approach to address emotional, physical, and mental disorders holistically. The research employed a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design, utilizing total sampling of 126 students with very high neurotic levels. The Neuroticism Scale Questionnaire (NSQ) was used to measure changes in neurotic levels before and after the intervention. Paired sample t-test analysis revealed a significant reduction in neurotic levels after the therapy, with a t-value of 18.79 and p = 0.000. The average pretest score of 53.54 decreased to 43.29 in the posttest, indicating a significant difference. This study concludes that SEFT is effective in reducing neurotic levels among high school students and can be recommended as an intervention to support students' mental health, particularly in the context of Islamic boarding school education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze research trends related to academic anxiety in late adolescents and early adults through a bibliometric approach. Research data was collected from published articles on Google Scholar during the period 2020-2024 using the keywords “Academic Anxiety” and “Academic Anxiety." Analysis was conducted using the VOSviewer application to visualize research trends, relationships between variables, and author contributions. The results showed an increase in publications related to academic anxiety, with a primary focus on variables such as academic stress, self-efficacy, academic procrastination, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Visualization findings showed key themes such as the influence of academic stress, the role of self-efficacy on achievement, and the impact of technology on learner well-being. Although this study has limitations in data screening, the results provide a roadmap for future research to explore new topics and develop more effective intervention strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of implementing language stimulation in early childhood with a history of stunting. This research focuses on early childhood suffering from stunting and wasting. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study research design. The results showed that vocabulary mastery is influenced by several factors including limited interaction and communication with the surrounding environment, lack of education and stimulus for children's vocabulary mastery. The results of this study also show that language stimulation in post-stunting children can help optimize children's brain function. Early childhood children who receive language stimulation tend to be more directed and experience improvements in recognizing new words and communication skills to become more confident in using words to express ideas and emotions.
