Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which the teacher's ability to shape the character of children according to the profile of Pancasila students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were the principals and teachers of TK IT An-Nafis Teluk Mengkudu. The object of this research is to describe the teacher's ability to shape children's character according to the profile of Pancasila students. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are that teachers are able to shape children's character according to the profile of Pancasila students. It must be multi-level and multi-channel because it is not possible only to be carried out by PAUD institutions, but also by families and communities. Character building requires exemplary, real behavior in authentic life settings and cannot be built instantly. Early childhood is a period of preparation for real school, so the formation of good character at an early age is a very important thing to do. Character building from an early age is very important so that children have a strong mentality when facing challenges, changes and certain situations in the future.

Abstract

The importance of planned educational programs that make students active in the learning process, only through the involvement or activeness of students in the learning process are they able to develop their potential and creativity in learning. This study uses a class action research method (CAR). Data collection techniques in this study were obtained through observation, documentation and tests. And data analysis techniques in this study using qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the results of the actions that have been taken by the researchers, it can be concluded that through the application of the snowball trowing learning model it can create an active class situation, students dare to express opinions, work together, use analytical abilities, and move actively during the learning process. The use of the snowball throwing learning model can also train students' readiness and impart knowledge to each other.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that the learning process carried out using the STEAM approach made from Loose Parts was not optimal, the word Loose Parts was not yet familiar, learning activities were teacher-centred and children's thinking abilities were not optimal. The aim of this research is to determine the use of the STEAM approach made from Loose Parts to improve the cognitive aspects of class B children at RA Al-Akbar Tanjung Morawa. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. This data analysis technique is carried out using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The implementation of the approach to using STEAM made from Loose Parts in improving the cognitive aspects of class B children in the scope of learning development and problem solving, logical and symbolic thinking at RA Al-Akbar Tanjung Morawa has been successfully implemented, it has been proven that children are able to think critically to solve everyday problems by using technology. From the assessment data on children's cognitive development achievements, there was an increase of 16.65%. Data before the research included 13.3% of BB children, 40.0% of MB children, 26.7% of BSH children and 20.0% of BSB children. Data after research showed that the percentage was 6.7% BB children, 13.3% MB, 40.0% BSH, 40.0% BSB.

Abstract

Background: The role of media in learning is a physical tool that stores messages and can stimulate children in learning and is used for the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the role of media is very helpful for teachers to facilitate the delivery of material to children. One of the learning media that is still minimally used as a learning media is rainbow spin media. The use of rainbow spin media is able to make learning easier for kindergarten children and children can use learning media to be more innovative, creative and so that problems faced by children and teachers can be resolved. Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of using rainbow spin learning media on visual spatial intelligence in children aged 4-5 years. Method: the method used in this research is experimental research with a pre-experimental design because it only involves one class as an experimental class which is carried out without any groups. The sampling technique in this research used purposive sampling which was carried out at the Al-Hidayah Gampong Arafah Samadua Kindergarten with a sample size of 15 people. Results: This research shows that the use of rainbow spin is able to develop children's visual spatial intelligence at the Al-Hidayah Gampong Arafah Samadua Kindergarten. The significance of the increase in children's visual spatial intelligence development scores was shown between before and after learning using rainbow spin media. Suggestion: So that teachers and schools can apply Rainbow Spin media in learning to increase teachers' insight and creativity in developing learning media and can develop children's cognitive intelligence well

Abstract

one day one ayat method is a fun memorization method for children because it can be done with various models and techniques which can have a good effect on children's brain development. Due to the lack of facilities and techniques used, the learning process to improve children's memorization skills in the field is still less effective. One aspect of cognitive development or intelligence in children in the memorization process can be developed through this technique. Objective: This study aims to determine children's cognitive development in applying the One Day One ayat method to the ability to memorize short surahs. This type of research is qualitative research using a descriptive analysis approach. The subjects of this research were all children in Group B TK SDN 2 Rimo. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The data that has been collected is analyzed using descriptive analysis with data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity is carried out using triangulation techniques, namely technical triangulation and source triangulation. Results: that the application of the one day one ayat method cannot fully develop the short surah memorization abilities of group B children at One Roof Kindergarten SDN 2 Rimo. Because the obstacles to implementing the One Day One ayat method are that children rarely come, children are lazy about memorizing, and children are lazy about marojaah. So that the child's memorization does not increase and the time to complete it also increases than the target. Conclusion: The one day one ayat method is less effective in improving children's ability to memorize short surahs.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the teacher's strategy is in developing speaking skills in children aged 5-6 years using the role playing method at RA Al-Musthafawiyah, Medan Tembung District. The method used in this study uses qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used in this study include interviews, observation and documentation as well as data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman Interactive data analysis model. The data validation technique uses the triangulation method. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the teacher's strategy in developing children's skills using the role playing method works well, it's just that there are obstacles in some children who are not proficient in developing their speaking skills. The strategy carried out by the teacher is to first prepare learning plans such as preparing Semester Programs (Prosem), Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), Weekly Learning Implementation Plans (RPPM), and Daily Learning Implementation Plans (RPPH). This is done in order to achieve a certain goal that is done as well as possible and as much as possible in accordance with the goals achieved. In addition, teachers also use supporting strategies. In addition, teachers also use other supporting strategies, namely carrying out habituation activities that are carried out every day. The causes that make children's speaking skills not develop optimally are the lack of communication between children and parents, children feel insecure when talking to other people, environmental factors that become obstacles to children's speech, lack of stimulation in children, children prefer to be alone, children are afraid in mentioning new vocabulary.

Abstract

In the context of fostering religious character among students at SMPN 2 Tanah Grogot, a variety of strategies involving different methods are employed. These methods encompass habituation, exemplification, and discipline. Habituation involves consistent and routine activities such as congregational prayers, maintaining decorum, and using polite language. Teachers lead by example through their own virtuous behavior and encourage students to perform religious practices such as the Dhuha prayer. Discipline is enforced through established rules that students must adhere to, with consequences for rule violations. The outcomes of these strategies include the development of religious character in students, characterized by strong faith, adherence to religious principles, good moral conduct, exemplary behavior, honesty, and an awareness of the importance of cleanliness. Furthermore, students exhibit increased discipline and confidence in practicing their religious duties. These efforts are consistently implemented and receive support from the school, including the school's principal, in creating an environment conducive to the cultivation of religious character.

Abstract

Many phenomena today are knowledgeable but lacking in morals and civility. Therefore, education needs to develop human morals, because the aim of education is to humanize humans. The decline in morals occurs due to technological advances and the rapid flow of globalization which causes many negative impacts because it is not balanced and accompanied by faith. One thing teachers can do at school is develop students' morals by using good communication patterns. Communication patterns can be interpreted as forms of communication. This research uses descriptive qualitative, namely research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. The research used uses data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. Communication patterns of moral belief teachers in developing student morals in class VII A MTs Bina Iman Pasir Belengkong for the 2022-2023 academic year. The communication pattern used by the moral aqidah teacher in coaching the morals of students in class VII A is using varied communication patterns, namely combining the three communication patterns according to the situation that occurs so that the coaching carried out by a teacher goes well even though it is not completely successful.
