Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Muhammadiyah sepanjang sejarahnya, lebih mengesankan sebagai gerakan amal kemanusiaan ketimbang gerakan ilmu. Kendatipun, kiprah Muhammadiyah di bidang pendidikan luar biasa pesatnya, tapi, belum tentu erupakan indikator dari sebuah gerakan ilmu yang bernilai strategis secara intelektual. Menurut AHMAD SYAFII MAARIF, gerkan ilmu dengan landasan iman pastilah akan mampu membingkai masa depan peradaban yang ramah dan kreatif. Pusat-pusat pendidikan Muhammadiyah yang ada sekarang ini, tampaknya masih memerlukan pembenahan-pembenahan yang mendasar. Trutama yang menyangkut masalah orientasi ke Islaman dan Kemanusiaan

Abstract

Pemberian otonomi kepada daerah seharusnya didasarkan pada faktor-faktor, pola dan mekanisme kelembagaan yang secara nyata dapat mendukung kemampuan daerah untuk mengurus rumah tangganya sendiri. Hubungan keuangan pada umumnya bergantung pada sistem pemerintahan, tujuan prioritas pembangunan serta kondisi wilayah. Berkaitan dengan kemandirian daerah, yang patut dievaluasi lebih jauh adalah parameter atau ukuran kemandirian maupun kondisi dan kemampuan daerah. Dari sini, masih diperlukan reorientasi penilaian kemandirian daerah dalam hubungannya dengan perimbangan keuangan, bukan hanya berdasarkan kemampuan material melainkan pada kemandirian politik menuju tatanan yang lebih demokratis.

Abstract

Learning literature will remind us on the process of Indonesia's physical revolution. Reading through Chairil Anwar's poem entitled "Diponegoro", for instance, could make Indonesian's spirit of struggle rise to get away colonialism that intended to maintain Indonesia as colonialized country. The master piece of literature, it is admitted or not, has contributed Indonesia people to combat againts the colonialisation and has made them independent. Literature as a great "mirror" of a certain nation may reflect the culture of nation itself. Now we live i the industrial age which all aspects must be considered by logical power objectively. Although we live in it, however, we still need other master piece of literature in order to increase our humanity.

Abstract

For a torn country successfully to redefine its civilizational indentity, at least three requirements must be met. First , the political and economic elite of the country has to be generally sypportive of and enthusiastic about the move second, the public has to be at least willing to acquiesce in the redefinition of identity. Third, the dominant elements in the host civilization,in most cases the West, have to be willing to embrace the convert. The process of identity redefinition will be prolonged, interrupted, and painfull, politically, socially, institutionally, and culturally. It also to date has failed.

Abstract

Michael Franzese was famous as one of Mafia's "bosses". Once, he shocked his gang to convert. He would release gunsekf from the last history to face the other days in paradise. Ot was interesting enough to trace the background of his convertion. Suddenly, he fell in love when he found the true love from Cammy Garcia. Is it a kind of phenomena that naturally eveyone tends to do the best for himself and others? Thomas Hobbes rejected that statement although he could not release himself from life long dialectical monologue. When he stated homo homini lupus, he then was doubtfull to th nature of man before the death. Fear of death led mankind to be usefull for others. The role of law, however, guide everyman to create the mondial paradise. It can be regarded as the fundamental basci of historical equilibrium.
