Abstract

Indonesi next 21 th century will face three big problems i.e. science and technology development, ecology and emography. These problems will caouse Indonesian toward complicated position unless they increase and improve the quality of education. University is one of the  formal high education which must develop the human resources in order to be able to solve the problems. Indonesian always hopes that university can produce sklilful scholars who are able to advance the nation welfare.

Abstract

Forestry seems to be unimportant subject, while it is important capital to prevent flood, global warming, and provides plentiful natural resources. Human became the cause of nature destructions. Therefore, the action to prevent disaster enabled the decision makers to work accurately to manage the forest well using minimum budget. Management on water and sediment on the river need to be prepared thoroughly and made in integrated way among sectors and regions.

Abstract

Technology cannot be regarded under its "neutrality" in relation to human life. It is always in close relation with ideology, politic, economy, culture and other aspect of history. It can can be used, both for human welfare and his "bad destiny". It will disturb and destruct their life unless it is held by a true ideology. Islam, as the true "ideology", guides it to the best world. Moslem, therefore, must be able to be the best co pilot for sains andtechnology.

Abstract

Abstract

Sex abnormality cases in Indonesia increase both in quality and quantity every year which leads to crime. In Indonesia, sex education in formal school is still in argument. Some sure that sex education will decrease sex abnormality if it is given to the studen informal school, but some other doubt it. this argument should be ended with wise decision because is includes the value: what is true and what is not true.sex education not only explains about the sexual organ but also includes the knowledge of changing of biology, psychology and psychosexual as the consequence of human growth. It also related to the knowledge of function of reproduction oragans, moral, ethic and religion. Theaching of sex education in school will involve teacher, student, and material of sex education.Sex education will make students mature. They can distinguish what is true and false. sex education is not identical with sex contact. In order words, sex education will be needed depends on the society itself. It must be considered that students in-their adolescent-are confused and labile. thus, sex education will be needed to quide them.

Abstract

Munculnya beraneka ragam produk makanan instant, obat-obatan, dan kosmetika akhir-akhir ini menimbulkan kekhawatiran baru bagi masyarakat. Betapa tidak, umat Islam di Indonesia sebagai konsumen terbesar macam jenis produk tersebut jelas membutuhkan jaminan rasa aman terutama dari segi kehalalan barang-barang yang hendak di konsumsi. Sehingga sertifikasi halal jelas akan memberikan rasa aman bagi mereka. Langkah-langkah untuk  memberikan standarisasi, sertifikat, dan labelisasi halal merupakan langkah maju. Tulisan ini lebih jauh hendak menyoroti proses dan mekanisme sertifikasi tersebut serta bagaimana bentuk-bentuk pengawasannya sekaligus.

Abstract

There are so many unsolved problems in Indonesian's foreign policy. Some analysts told that Indonesian's foreign policy has no profile in post reformation, comparing with the two regimes before. The problem is about the profile that have to be built by the government to show Indonesian's position in international view. In Indonesian's foreign policy, it looks like that there is no principle in its relations especially with the western countries. Administration system of the recent president actually has opportunity to change the problem for there is a democracy development that has been appreciated by international forums. In some field, it showed that Indonesian's foreign policy also depends on the executive institution. So, for the next president and for he/her administrations, there are some agendas that based on three points. Those are an equal position between foreign and domestic priority, domestic empowerment for the consistency and supported Indonesian's diplomacy by implementing total diplomacy, and increasing the international knowledge for society and the local staff in the context of local autonomy.

Abstract

Masalah krisis moral yang terjadi dalam dunia pendidikan, secara tidak langsung berkait dengan banyak hal dan aspek bidang. Bahkan krisis apa pun biasanya berhulu pada masalah pendiduikan. Maka penanganan krisis moral pendidikan yang mengembangkan sifat pragmatisme dan oportunistik harus dimulai dari dunia pendidikan. Salah satu yang perlu dikembangkan adalah pendidikan humaniora yang bisa memperkaya dan membantu kepribadian manusia ke arah kearifan.
