Abstract

The type of research used is descriptive research with a Microbial Risk Assessment (MRA) on refilled drinking water (Ryan et al., 2022). The design of this study uses a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach. Retrieval of data using the exploratory method, namely sampling is done directly. The research was carried out in the Working Area of the Moncongloe Health Center, Maros Regency, for approximately 1 (one) month in October 2020. The population in this study were all Refill Drinking Water Depots in the working area of the Moncongloe Health Center, Maros Regency, namely 17 depots. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling, namely 17 Refill Drinking Water Depots in the working area of the Moncongloe Health Center, Maros Regency. The bacteria that became the research were Escherichia coli bacteria. The exposure assessment was carried out on 170 respondents, namely 10 respondents who consumed drinking water from each depot. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data in the form of the results of laboratory examinations for Escherichia coli content in refilled drinking water.

Abstract

This study discusses the influence of demographic and social class factors on customers' decisions to choose Islamic banks in Palopo City. On the customer's decision to choose an Islamic bank in the city of Palopo and prove the influence of these factors simultaneously. To provide answers to the problems stated above, the authors use a quantitative research approach with the variables used in this study are the independent variables, namely education, income, employment, dependents, and age as well as the dependent variable in the form of a customer's decision to choose an Islamic bank. This study took 100 respondents using the Non-Probability Sampling method as the sample. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire with regression analysis techniques through the F-test and t-test using the Software Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) 19.0. The results of the study show that education, income, employment, and age have a significant effect on the customer's decision to choose an Islamic bank in Palopo City. This is evidenced by obtaining a significance value of 0.000 or less than 5% (0.05). The results of the partial statistical test also show that the variables of education, income and employment have a significant positive effect, while the age variable has a significant negative effect on the customer's decision to choose an Islamic bank in Palopo City. Based on the beta regression coefficient, the highest coefficient value is the income variable of 7,060 with a significance level of 0.000. These findings indicate that income is the variable that has the most influence on the customer's decision to choose Islamic Banking among the other four variables. Based on the results of the simultaneous test it was concluded that the independent variables simultaneously represented by the variables of education, income, employment, dependents, and age have a significant effect on the dependent variable on customer decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of teacher motivation (X1), principal leadership (X2), and teacher competence (X3) on teacher performance (Y). The population taken was 79 people and because the population was less than 100 people, the sample taken was the entire population as a total sample, namely all teachers at SMPN 2 Sungguminasa, and a tool to test data analysis using linear regression. The results of this study stated that partially the motivation variable (XI) showed a value of p = 0.001 <0.05, this means that partially the work motivation variable has a significant influence on the performance of SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa employees. Partially the leadership variable (X2) shows a value of p = 0.000 < 0.05. This means that partially the variable of workability has a significant employee performance and function at SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa. Competence has a significant effect on teacher performance with P = 0.000 < 0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.186. The coefficient shows that the better the level of educators, the better the performance, so the third hypothesis can be concluded that if there is an increase in the level of education and training, it will affect the Performance of the teacher. The variable that has the most dominant influence on teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa is motivation. Motivation and appreciation can encourage teacher performance. Training education is held under their duties and responsibilities, so that it can run effectively as well as efficiently and will make the teacher's performance level higher.

Abstract

The aims of this research are (1) to analyze and find out whether the variables of education level, wage rate, and economic growth jointly affect the absorption of labor in South Sulawesi Province. The data collection in this study was carried out using the library research method, with observations in 2012 - 2021, the data was obtained from the South Sulawesi Province Bappeda Office, as well as the respective Regency/City Bappeda Offices in Luwu Raya, as well as the Sulawesi Provincial BPS Office. South. Linear Regression Analysis is used to determine the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The results of the study show that together the independent variables of education level, wage rate, and economic growth have an effect on the dependent variable on employment in South Sulawesi Province during the 2012 - 2021 period. Among the three independent variables, it seems that the wage level is the factor that has the greatest influence on employment absorption in South Sulawesi Province. In connection with the results of this study, it is suggested to the Provincial Government of South Sulawesi to always pay attention to the level of public education, the number of wages received, and efforts to develop various economic sectors in this area so that economic growth can increase which in turn will increase employment and increasing social welfare.

The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire developed by the researcher. The questionnaire was face-validated by five experts. The reliability of the instrument was tested using Cronbach Alpha method and yielded an overall coefficient of 0.93. Mean and Analysis of Variance were used to analyze data collected. The findings showed that the management staff agreed to the 42 items measuring the logical environment and Supervisory regulatory actions for effective information management. The findings further showed that no significant difference existed among the opinions of the respondents on the level at which they adopted the logical environment security and supervisory regulatory actions for effective information management of their institutions. Abstract

Cervical cancer poses a considerable public health challenge in South Africa, necessitating effective screening programs for early detection and prevention. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted healthcare services, including cervical cancer screening, posing challenges to disease management efforts. This study aimed to assess cervical cancer incidence and screening practices among beneficiaries within three major South African medical schemes, analysing trends from 2017 to 2022. Retrospective data were collected to evaluate incidence rates and screening coverage, considering the impact of the pandemic. Screening coverage declined during the epidemic, recovering in 2021 but declining again in 2022. Different health plans showed a more than forty per cent fall in cervical cancer screening rates between 2021 and 2022, with 2022 having the lowest level, even lower than the COVID-19 era. The trends indicate COVID-19 interruptions have a negative impact post-COVID-19. Recommendations include targeted outreach, telemedicine options, and strengthened collaboration to enhance screening programs and mitigate pandemic-related disruptions. This study contributes valuable insights into cervical cancer management, highlighting the need for proactive measures to ensure the continuity of essential healthcare interventions amid public health emergencies.
