Jurnal “Missio-Cristo” merupakan jurnal teologi yang diterbitkan oleh Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Sola Gratia Indonesia dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian baik di dalam maupun di luar Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Sola Gratia Indonesia. Jurnal ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya dengan ruang lingkup teologi sistematika, biblika, historika, misiologi dan pratikka. Informasi mengenai panduan teknis penulisan artikel dan prosedur penggarapan naskah telah tersedia di pihak penerbit. Proses penanganan naskah melalui tim editor sebagai kelayakkan gaya dan format dan dilanjukkan melalui Peer Review Process sesuai persyaratan dan pedoman penulisan artikel yang baik dan benar. Penerbitan Jurnal ini dilakukan enam bulan sekali, yakni: pada bulan April dan Oktober.

Abstract: Israel is the nation which was chosen by God to be His people with a purpose that is through Israel, all nations in the world will be a blessing (Genesis 12:1-3). In the long history, Israel didn’t give good influence, but was contaminated with the living and religious pattern of the wicked nations around. The consequence that Israel got was the punishment from God which was the exile to Babylon. The prophet Daniel was one who existed in Babylon. The status as a captivity did not impede Daniel to show his identity as God’s people. Even though he had task as the state officer, but he still did his task as God’s witness and gave impact widely. So functionally, prophet Daniel showed his role as missionary in the land of captivity. Daniel’s deed can be an example for the professional to do God’s mission in each field.

Abstract: Pastoral counselling is an activity done by a pastor in giving advice, comforting, and strengthening the member of his/ her local church. One of the debateable topic that can or cannot be used in a pastoral counselling is hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is the application of hypnosis in healing the mental and physical problems (psychosomatic). This article explains whether hypnotherapy can be used or can’t be used in pastoral counselling and the reasons behind. The debates of the usage of hypnotherapy in a pastoral counselling can be solved by explaining hypnotherapy based on psychological concept and based on the Word of God. Based on psychological approach, hypnotherapy does not use a scientific method, because hypnotherapy cannot be tested empirically. In the other side, counselee cannot differentiate between the right memory and fantasy or suggested detail. Besides that, a counsellee cannot feel the attention, love, and empathy from the counsellor. In hypnotherapy, counsellee also has no power in rejecting things that are done by the counsellor, nor the suggestions given by the counsellor. Based on the Word of God, the unconsciousness, which is the basic theory of hypnotherapy is the veil of Sigmund Freud to hide his involvement with occultism, which is contrary to the Word of God. Hypnotherapy also cannot solve the root of human’s problem, which is sin. The problem solving of sin is only can be done by the consciousness from someone of his/ her sin and the need of salvation only in Jesus Christ. In the other part, hyonotherapy cannotbring counsellee to have a Christlikeness changing, because the changing of becoming Christlike is done by the Holy Spirit through the reading, contemplating, and applicating of God’s Word in counsellee’s life

Abstract: The main problem in leadership, the lack of understanding how to lead, so when the leader is not ready to lead, for that in this paper will be discussed how to understand the style & model of leadership is right, so as to understand lead the situation and condition context. The emphasis of this article, on the Model & style of leadership in the present. In the lead of each person has a tendency to have a particular model, there are four models, namely: Catalisator, Commander, Thruster & Hermit, every leader takes one of style, but can combine one or two styles, but certainly every leader has one dominant of the four existing styles. In addition there are for styles, there are still other factors that affect leadership within a person in leadership in the present, Situational leadership style, where a leader is able & sangup to see the condition of the organization he leads, as well as the people he leads, so as to manage with & manage both well.

Abstract: The decline of faith in the present, should motivate every Christian to actively preach the gospel. Gospel preachers need to be equipped with the concept of the balance of God’s love and justice. This writing is the result of literature reseach. The focus is on the balance of God’s love and justice, which is expressed in the medical, psychological, and spiritual misery of Christ. The aim is for the development of evangelistic efforts and the firmness of the faith of Christians.

Abstract: Kebanyakan teolog dari dunia ketiga, termasuk Choan-Seng Song asal Taiwan yang terkenal dengan pemikiran-pemikirannya yang cemerlang, menganggap bahwa teologi Barat terlampau rasionalistis dan terlampau konseptualistis. Untuk itu, diperlukan suatu rekonstruksi teologi Kristen di Asia dengan memberi warna Asia yang dilakukan dengan cara pergi kepada sumber-sumber yang memiliki kekuatan untuk menyentuh daging dan darah masyarakat di Asia. Ekspresi inklusivisme Song nampak dari sejumlah pemikiran yang dihasilkan, menuntut adanya sorotan teologis terhadap ekspresi inklusivisme dalam teologi Choan-Seng Song. Mengingat banyaknya tulisan-tulisan Song serta mencakup pembahasan dengan tema-tema yang luas hanya menyoroti Kristologi Song dan pengaruhnya terhadap pemahamnya tentang teologi agama-agama, dan misi Kristen.

Abstrak: Kehidupan spiritualitas Paulus menunjukkan perbedaan hamba duniawi dengan hamba rohani. Pelayanan hamba duniawi menggunakan kekuasaan, kekerasan, dan kesewenang-wenangan. Hamba duniawi cenderung memperalat orang lain untuk mendapatkan kesenangan pribadi. Kesadaran spiritualitas di dalam Kristus dimana Allah menjadi didekati, terlihat dan terjamah justru memberikan kekuatan untuk memulai suatu hubungan dengan Tuhan. Kesadaran spiritualitas ini membawa para pelayan masuk ke dalam sebuah hubungan dengan Ilahi yaitu hubungan yang melampaui fenomena akal. Karena itu penting untuk seorang pelayan percaya bahwa Tuhan memiliki tujuan hidup baginya, Tuhan telah memilihnya, mendukungnya, dan mengarahkannya dan akan terus menerus membuat rencana hidup yang jelas baginya. Seorang pelayan harus percaya bahwa Tuhan akan tinggal bersamanya dan memberikannya sahabat dalam setiap perjalanan pelayanan yang dilewatinya.

Abstrak: Tujuan tertinggi dari misi Allah yang membawa shalom itu adalah “kerajaan Allah” atau pemerintahan Allah (The Kingdom of God) yang membawa kemuliaan bagi nama-Nya (Rm. 11:36; 1 Taw. 16:24-29), yang merupakan fokus utama dari karya dan penyataan diriNya. Gereja ada oleh misi Allah, maka misi dengan sendirinya adalah wujud dan tugas serta tanggung jawab utama dari gereja. Pekerjaan gereja/misi terfokus kepada menjadi alat keselamatan dari Allah yang membawa restorasi di dalam diri setiap orang. Karena itu, tugas misi merupakan kewajiban, di mana pekerjaan misi seharusnya mengalir keluar dengan dinamika yang bersumber dari sifat gereja. dengan kata lain, gereja itu sendiri memiliki sifatsifat misi di mana gereja yang missioner harus mewujudkan sifat-sifat misi dalam kehidupanya. Sebagai agen misi Allah gereja bertanggung jawab terhadap penginjilan kepada orang-orang yang belum mengenal Kristus dan percaya kepada Kristus.

Abstrak: Theologia komunikasi Kristen berdasarkan perspektif Reformed adalah sebuah kajian tentang ilmu komunikasi, yang secara khusus dikaji berdasarkan worldview atau pola pikir Reformed, yang berdasarkan nilai-nilai dan ajaran kekristenan yang bersumber dari Alkitab sebagai Wahyu Khusus Allah yang dikomunikasikan kepada manusia yang diciptakan serupa dan segambar dengan Allah (imago dei). Dalam mengimplementasikan sebaiknya melihat dan memandang Allah sebagai teladan komunikasi; dimana Allah sebagai Komunikator Agung memiliki komunikasi yang bersifat terbuka, komunikasi yang bersifat aktif dan proaktif, komunikasi yang memulihkan hubungan, mempersatukan, membangun, komunikasi yang mengkomunikasikan isi hati dan kehendak Allah, dan komunikasi yang memuliakan Allah (soli deo gloria). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi theologia komunikasi Kristen berdasarkan perspektif Reformed dalam komunitas gereja, sehingga pembaca dapat mengimplimentasikan pemahaman yang telah diperoleh dari pemaparan penulis melalui tulisan ini.

Abstrak: Pengertian misi terfokus kepada aktifitas penyelamatan dari Allah yang secara dinamis menyelamatkan manusia (berdosa) di seluruh dunia yang sekaligus menghadirkan kerajaan Allah. Sampai awal abad ke 20, Kristen dan non Kristen, agamis dan non agamis memperlihatkan sikap menolak misi sebagai karya penyebaran iman Kristen. Misi bukan hanya membawa seseorang untuk menjadi Kristen (kristenisasi) maupun dalam bentuk kegiatan sosial, tetapi dipahami secara holistik dan integral baik dalam teks maupun konteks yang ada. Kenyataannya gereja tetap melihat misi sebagai dimensinya yang esensial, karena melalui karya misi gereja hadir dengan sepenuhnya sebagai gereja. Gereja tanpa misi bukanlah gereja seperti yang dimaksudkan oleh Kristus. Gereja adalah milik Allah (1Ptr. 2:9), karena itu dalam keyakinan, fungsi, misi dan tujuannya harus tetap sesuai dengan kehendak Allah. Gereja yang benar adalah suatu tanda kehadiran dari kerajaan Allah. Terdapat hubungan yang erat antara Kerajaan Allah dengan gereja, dengan demikian misi kerajaan Allah adalah misi gereja.

Abstract: The phrase "Christ as Prophet, priest and King" is familiar to our ears, perhaps even deep in the minds of every believer. Of course, our belief in the three roles of Christ is a divine function that allows God's word to be conveyed to the world, the substitution and redemption of human sin, and God's absolute rule. That means that the office of Christ as a Prophet, Priest, and King does not stop at Jesus alone, but has implications for ourselves as His people. In this paper, the topic discussed is about Jesus Christ as a true Priest. Why? not to neglect or separate the other two offices of Christ. but as an effort to explore the meaning of the office of Christ as a priest. Because there are still "Christians" who do not clearly understand the meaning of the three offices of Christ for the practice of world evangelism. Then how does this doctrine of Christology, which seems so transcendent, relate to the practical life of humans every day? How should this concept shape the practice of world evangelism? So it would be nice to discuss three office that are focused on each position. As in the Old Testament the role of Mediation of prophets, priests, and kings is filled with separate individuals, the three offices are now united in one person Jesus Christ. This truth must be clarified to believers so that they understand the implementation of world evangelism.
